Great style and craftsmanship. These boots are definitely on the narrow side. I have a narrow foot with high arches and these fit like a glove. I can see how those with a medium to wide foot might not be able to even get them on! It does seem they are long in length. I usually wear an 8, which is what I ordered, but I am going to return them for size 7.5. I wish Frye would design boots with a rubber heel and sole. Leather soles are slippery and not practical on other than sunny days.

The footbed of these boots fits me like a dream. I originally bought an 8, but it was far too tight in the instep I could barely get the left one on my foot! I exchanged them for an 8.5, the length seems okay, but the instep is still snug and they do feel narrow overall, but I'll wear them around the house a bit to see if they loosen up. The charcoal color very nice, although lighter than shown here and uneven in spots (i.e., the toes are darker and there are some darker patches). I feel the price is justified by the fact that this type of boot never goes out of style, I would have worn them 20 years ago and will wear them for many years to come.

These boots are a really pretty color. I was very disappointed in the quality of the leather at the top of the boot- where your foot goes in. it was sloppy and the pull tab will/would pull off in probably 3 weeks.

I loved the look of this boot...color & quality excellent. It was a bit narrow in the top & difficult to slide my foot into. I normally wear a 7 in most shoes & boots, and in Frye specifically, I often buy 6.5 in my boots. This pair I would definitely wear a 7, or if I wanted to wear thicker socks, possibly a 7.5.

These are a nice distressed grey but I have to send them back because they are too tight across the top of my foot. I ordered a half size up based on other reviews but they were a bit tight in the toe as well. I have slim feet!

These boots were vile. The grey leather was opaque and cheap looking. Although they look ok because they are tighter around your ankle, you pay the price because they are impossible to pull on (or off).
