I bought this shoe to start my couch to 5k running program. I needed something for my wide feet and with lots of cushioning. These are great! These are a little heavier than other running shoes but I'm starting slow anyway so it's fine. I would highly recommend these for anyone with wide feet and starting out a running program.

I love these shoes but the fabric on the top of the left foot has developed a hole upon wearing them and the hole continues to get larger with wear. This has happened twice in a row now. I will be purchasing another brand of shoe soon.

I have been ordering Brooks Dyads for 4 years now. I have degenerative disc disease and flat feet. It is very tricky to find shoes that work for me. These are the only shoes I purchase because I know they will fit and not hurt my back. Love Brooks shoes! I only wish there was more of a color / style selection.

I like this shoe but I do wish is had more lateral support such as the Ariel gives. It has a more rounded toe box than the Ariel currently does which fits my foot better. I've
been wearing an 8 but am going to go up a half a size. I don't know if my foot has changed or if the shoe runs slightly short.

These shoes are comfortable for me when I am in constant, swift motion. However, when I am taking leisurely walks or on my feet for a few hours, they actually hurt my feet, and the cushioning feels hard and uncomfortable. I'm not sure why that is. When I use gym equipment, they feel fine. Also, if you have feet in between medium and wide widths, either wear thin socks for the medium, or go up to a wide. I wore thicker cotton socks at first, and developed calluses, but once I changed to thin cotton socks, that problem went away.

I normally take a 7 1/2 wide in Clarks, Naturalizer etc, but had to order this shoe in an 8EE. It fit in width and length but felt it was forcing my foot to lean towards the outside. I don't need a correction so it felt off kilter. I am returning the shoes.

I am new to buying wide shoes, but this shoe is about the same as my old regualr width shoes. I tried a D, but if I buy again, I'd try an E.

So far I have only worn them twice in step class. They are a bit heavy, but they provide good cushioning, however both times that I have worn them, the front of my foot area got that tingly, falling asleep feeling. I bought wide and half a size up. They are plenty wide. The arch support seems a bit higher than I like, which is why I think my foot fell asleep. I have high arches and need, some cushioning in the middle. These may have too much. The color is striking.

I wear a M-W width. These felt snug in D width in the toe box. Sent them back!

I think whether or not you like these shoes will depend on the running shoes you have been wearing. I was used to a New Balance motion control/stability shoe and thought I would try the Dyad (they stopped making the NB 1012 that I loved). I really need a neutral shoe with some stability, but this is not that shoe. While the cushioning is excellent, there really isn't any support or stability offered. Although I'm more of an under pronator, I like the feeling of the stability that my New Balance had. As many others have stated, the look of this shoe isn't really very appealing. As a runner with wide, flat feet I'm dying for a stylish shoe that I'll actually be proud to wear (and there aren't many out there).

This is my third pair of Brooks Dyad shoes. I normally love them, but this version isn't holding up the way others have. The mesh at the toe ripped after only two months of regular wear. The inside is now wearing after another two months. When comparing to my old pair, the mesh is much thinner on the 7. Hopefully they'll fix the problem for the 8, because the comfort and support of these shoes can't be beat.

Have had 7 pairs of the Dyad 6, am very unhappy with the new 7. Have multiple problems with my feet and the only shoe that worked for me was the Dyad 6. I used to buy them 2 pairs at a time. I walk 4 miles every day and am on my feet all day, now without the Dyad 6 I am in agony everyday. Not that it matters to me but even the new look is horrible! Is there another style shoe that would be designed and comparable to the old Dyad 6 ? I am ready to try anything!! Is there any stock of the old style 6?

I thought the colors were really great, but they made me look like I had clown feet and there was not much arch support at all. I had read that gals with medium archs could also wear these and liked them but they also felt tight in the heel area and came up too high for my liking. I wish they would put this color scheme on the adrenalines or another pair for medium arches.

I am on my fifth pair of Brook Dyads. The 4th pair arrived with a hold in the toe area, the next two developed a hole within hours of wear. I will be changing to another brand.

The Brooks Dyad 7 shoe is the most uncomfortable shoe I've ever bought! I wish I had returned them right after I got them but I couldn't find another running shoe in extra wide. I don't have a lot of options with extra wide feet. Usually I look forward to putting on my tennis shoes, this is not the case with these shoes. When I'm wearing them, I can't wait to take them off. I feel like there is no padding, only hard soles. I seriously hate wearing these shoes!

I also have had problems with the fabric on top of the shoes. A small hole appeared after only a few weeks of wear. Never had that problem with previous Dyad.

They were too narrow in the toe area. so I am returning these. Much prefer the Ghost 6 in the Brooks line.

Not built to last! I bought these shoes in April. I work from home and spend most of my time barefoot, so none of my shoes receive very heavy wear. Further, I completely destroyed the tendon in my ankle the first week of May, and did nothing but sit on the couch until I got out of the surgical boot in August. Since then I have been taking short walks about every other day, so these shoes have received in total 2 1/2 months of light to moderate wear. There are holes in both shoes, on the outside edges, along the side of my pinky toes. My toes don't protrude from the shoes in any kind of weird way, they fit comfortably, but the mesh fabric has split along this spot on both shoes. This price for not even 3 months worth of wear is not what I call good value, and I definitely would not recommend this brand at all. Why does Zappos not have a scoring category for durability?

These are horrible. The color is ghastly and the left shoe is made differently than the right. Come on, Brooks, where is the Dyad 6?
