The bottoms are a little thin and you can't replace the insoles

Huge fat tongue and No arch support in these. This works for me. I have a low arch and a wide foot. They’re wide enough for me and the fat tongue keeps these snug enough on my feet without having to tie them tight. Description says neoprene tongue centering straps but they don’t have them. I wish these and the faders had them. As far as skate shoes go, with everything getting narrow and pointy-toed, I’ll be sticking with Etnies Kingpins, Faders and whatever other old school cupsole shoes they continue to make. They’re wide enough and padded enough for my aging feet. The board feel is good once you break them in, which takes about 2 weeks of daily wear for me, and they last me months when I skate them, years when I don’t.

Nice shoes - These shoes are great. A little small. About a half of a size too small. Order a half size larger than you normally wear. Otherwise they are great. Zappos is the best online company to do business with. No place is better than them!

These shoes seemed to be of good quality as etnies typically are. They did fade rather quickly and the inside of the back by the heal tore most likely due to tucking the laces rather then tying them.

Shoe has an unusual tongue, stuffed and fat like a sausage. I could get the shoe on but laces bulge up from the fat tongue. Not an attractive look to my eye. Shipped slip describes show as a "skateboarding shoe." Maybe perfect for that but not for my urban walking.

The tongue is hideously uncomfortable to me. The look is nice and I wanted to like them but they’re pretty much unwearable.

Not sure what’s going on these days with Skate-Shoes but they keep getting narrower every year. I’ve skated Etnies for years and they’ve been one of my go to shoes for a long time. These were ok but felt a little snug for a skate shoe. I ended up returning them because of it. I wanted to like these I really did because I like the style of “puffy tongue” they use. You can lace up loose but they stay I place while skating. Bummed out these didn’t work out.... I hope Etnies isn’t going the route of Vans because that would make both my go-to shoes for skating not useable for me. I’m hoping this trend of super narrow shoes is going to end soon. I’ve been a regular width all my life and lately skate shoes have been hit or miss depending on model and brand....

These look great but I have to return these because of the huge GD padded tongue they put on them it is ridiculous how big they are. Anyone that would wear these must have feet that concave in and not out like a normal human foot.

The cloth that comprises the ankle cuff on these shoes is their weakness. 2 pairs ago, the cuff around the opening of the shoe split open, but I figured I brushed up against something, causing the flaw myself. When I finally got around to getting a replacement pair, which I'm wearing now, the same thing happened. The cloth around the ankle cuff has split open on its own. The rest of the shoe had at least 6 months left on it, but the cuff, split open, killing the vibe. Won't come back to these again until I see an improvement in construction. Bummer. Long time favorite of this shoe's style.

Loved the look of these shoes. Etnies use to make great shoes. Cupsole started to let go from the shoe within 3 days. The "synthetic" material for the all black leather looks like a cheap shoe found at PAYLESS SHOES or K mart. The fit was great. A half size small but most skate shoes run small now. Had to return. Zappos is the best! Can't complain about the service. Had the shoes within the next day. Amazing. Love this company.

The shoe was dirty and used, gross.
