Great backpack! Bought it for law school and carrying many heavy books/laptop etc. I was worried about size before I bought it but it has plenty of room and easily fits my 13" laptop (probably a bigger laptop too but this is just my guess). Is as described, handy side pockets for water bottles, inside compartment separate from main compartment for pencils etc. Overall, a great, big enough, sturdy and attractive backpack for school or recreational use!

Absolutely thrilled with this backpack! Not only did I order it Saturday and it was delivered today (Monday), I am in love with the color! A deep purple with grey accents - beautiful. Very happy with the purchase. The backpack has lots of compartments to store your stuff and will be great traveling in the next few days.

One of the straps stretched out and now the other one can't so I can't make them even. This makes it very uncomfortable to carry around.

Are you an avid traveler, frequent visitor of the outdoors, athletic trainer/trainee, or student? If you have identified with a group listed above, then the North Face Jester Backpack is the perfect bag for you! As a student I struggled to find the perfect backpack which would withstand the stress test of an eventful daily routine. The bag I sought after, what would be ideal for a myriad of individuals like myself, would be:
1. Comfortable
2. Durable
3. Multifaceted
4. Voguish
All of the characteristics of the ideal backpack were satisfied over time as I put the new North Face Jester Backpack to the test. As a student I am constantly tasked to carry around a personal computer alongside books which can be discomforting on the back and shoulders after walking for long periods of time. However, padding instilled within the straps of the North face Jester Backpack and new flex-vent back support technology provides extreme comfort to both the shoulders and the back. Which is perfect for those want to use this backpack for school or outdoor activity.
In addition to the comfort of The Jester Backpack, it's durability and style is commendable. Usually when it comes to backpacks you encounter opportunity cost, trading style over durability and vice versa. I usually find it hard to source a backpack that's capable of having both. The bags' simplistic design and color scheme is one that fits various personalities. There are 13 different colors to choose from that range from neutral to vibrant colors. So, you're ensured to find a color selection that complements your style.
With that being said the quality of the backpack sets industry standards. The material selection meets the needs of durability as the backpack is able to withhold itself after being tarnished through a series of events time after time. However, an additional compartment to the backpack would be ideal. As organization can become a hectic task when trying keep to items separated, although the bag is ve

I've used this backpack as a high schooler for the past two years. I love the color, and the way it looks. Only down fall is that it does not hold all of my stuff and it always tips over!

i've had this pack for the past 3 years of highschool and i love it. it would have gotten five stars, except for the fact that it won't hold all my books if i have any sort of binder with me. it doesn't effect me using it much at all, is just a little inconvenient at times. overall, this is the best backpack i've ever had and i plan on carrying it into college!

This backpack is great, it's very sturdy and definitely durable. I've had it for over a year now and it's in great condition. I use it daily for school and I've even takes it hiking a couple of times and I have no complaints. It is o the smaller side but if you adjust the pull straps in the front it gives you a bit more room!

This backpack is great for school and traveling! I've taken mine all over the country and it holds up so well. It's a great carry on for a plane, small enough to take on a road trip without crowding up the car, and great for students. My only complaint is I have a lot of textbooks and binders and it's too small to fit everything, but when I didn't have as much stuff it was perfect!

I love mine. Except it didn't come with a stretchy strap on front. Other than that one flaw, it is an amazing bag.

This product was amazing minus the part where my daughter couldn't fit all her school essentials inside the bag. But the bag was great for travel and hiking!

This bag looks cool, is extremely comfortable, and is really durable. Unfortunately, it can't hold even half of what I need it to. I'm a college student, and I need to carry things all over campus, without having to carry books around in my arms. This bag just can't cut it. All I can fit is my laptop, a binder, a five-subject notebook, and one text book. That's it! Although the bag is really comfortable, and aesthetically appealing, I'm going to have to invest in something bigger.

Let me start by saying that I was so upset when my Heckler backpack that I have had since college grew mold and I had to throw it out. I I trust TNF, so naturally I looked on their website for a replacement. After, days of pondering over my decision, I decided to purchase the Jester in black since I wear black pretty much all the time. It serves its purpose as a backpack. It is light and black, Overall, a decent backpack.

Great durability and quality but a little small for as many texts books as I have to carry around for school. But with all that weight in there it carries well and is easy on my back.

I use this everyday for school purposes. It does a great job with the multiple compartments because I am able to store multiple things. I do just wish there was a little bit more space inside the backpack to load more books.

I would recommend this product for school. it is very comfortable. the only thing i don't like is how heavy it is when i have my laptop in it.. it is a laptop carrier backpack it thought this would have made it easier to carry and not have so much weight to it.

I use this for college, and it's great but if you have a heavy work load I wouldn't recommend. I can fit about 3 books in it and maybe 1 binder and some folders, which isn't a lot if you're a college student. Other than it's very durable and comfortable! I love the water bottle pockets on the side too.
