This backpack is great, so great in fact both my roommates also bought this backpack. We love it! I was nervous at first that having so many different dividing sections would make it feel small, but it helps keep everything organized and fits just as much as my old backpacks.

I am a college student and I purchased this backpack for everyday use (books, computer, etc.). This backpack is super comfortable and cute too! Also I got it on sale for a reasonable price and shipping was quick!

I have The Jester backpack that I use as my work laptop bag. I travel often for work and needed something to carry on my back since I'm usually lugging around a suitcase too. I bought this backpack because I want to use it for personal travel so I don't have to take my work stuff out of the other pack. I love all my TNF products!

I bought this backpack primarily for work, but I know it would be great for camping trips too. It's very roomy, comfortable to wear and has many pockets. It seems to be durable too.

This is the perfect backpack. I can carry my laptop and office supplies along with two changes of clothing and shoes. It has the right amount of pockets for my phone, chargers, kindle, etc. It sits perfectly on by back and the shoulder straps are designed to be out of the way and comfortable. Love everything about The North Face products! Recommend this highly!

I love it for overnight stays at my grandchildren's. Plus, when I'm gonna be on the go all day and into the night it's better than carrying a pocketbook and a duffle

Daughter has all black coats so wanted to have something that would stand out at night if she is walking on campus. Love the white and the red highlights but the gray on the bottom keeps it from getting dirty!!

I bought this bag for college. It was on sale so I purchased it, and so far I'm loving it! It's very comfortable and fits my laptop, books, and other supplies without being bulky. It's very durable considering I use it everyday around campus. Would definitely buy again.

Great for law school students

I use this bag for everything. School, work, beach, traveling. I love it. I don't have to change bags for each activity of the day because everything I need in the day fits in here and it all organized.

This is the best backpack I've ever had throughout my career. It's so comfortable, lightweight and I can definitely walk around campus without getting tired.

The women's style is shorter than I was used to and I was thinking of exchanging it but after trying it out for a day, I decided to keep it. I think this is the way it was always SUPPOSED to fit! It feels lighter and puts less strain on my back than the "regular" (mens?) style. Also, after years of using the Borealis (this is my third one), I finally watched the product video (I wanted to see if it was sitting on my body the way it was supposed to) and I discovered it had some nifty features I didn't know about! (Hello, safety whistle and little hole at top for drinking tube/cables!). I love this backpack. The only wish I have for it (are you listening, North Face?) is I wish the side pockets for water bottle etc. were more robust (they get stretched out and hole-y after a while -- much earlier than other parts of the backpack) and I wish it had some way of securing the side pockets to prevent little items (travel size bottles-of-stuff, dental floss, cough drops etc.) from falling out when you lay the backpack down in an airplane (under the seat in front of you). About a decade ago, the side pockets were MUCH better than they are now.

Using for carryon for two week trip to Europe. Will be riding trains. Alot if walking. Very comfortable and roomy. Great design and roomy. Bought both men and womens backpack. Will also use for trips to Colorado. Looked at many backpacks and this was best for comfort and overall bang for my needs.

This bag is ideal for anyone who is on the go, but doesn't want a rock on their back. I honestly love how it feels and looks, while it hold everything I need for my long days.

This is my first TNF backpack. I read and watched a ton of reviews before purchasing. I've only been using it for about a week, but the difference in the way it handles and carries is very noticeable when compared to backpacks without a solid framesheet in the back. And when I say "noticeable," I mean it makes carrying heavier loads so much easier - like when I have to carry my heavy laptop, plus books/business papers, a change of clothes, a water bottle and some odds and ends. My backpacks without a solid harness situation makes carrying these types of heavy loads just unbearable. And if these TNF backpack carries all of my stuff with ease, I'm excited to see how it'll handle on a hike! Although the materials it's made with isn't super thick, it does feel good and I'm certain it'll do well with rough handling in the outdoors. All in all, great backpack at a solid price!
