I use this for school, and it's really sturdy and comfortable. The only issue I have with it is that it's a little smaller than I thought. I can fit everything I need, but it's pretty tight.

Love it! Only wearing it to work but have also used previous versions of this bag to hike and it was great.

I use this product for school. While I do love it and its functionality, the string on the outside broke after about 2-3 months of use. I think it just came out of the hole that is in the inner part by the water bottle sleeve, but to pay this much for a backpack and for that to happen is a bit annoying.

It's great and holds a lot of space and is very adjustable, have mixed feelings of the soft fabric inside however it's a great purchase!

I love this backpack! I've had the North Face luxe backpack for 4 years now, and I decided it was time for an upgrade now that I'm in college. I found the other one bulky and especially top heavy, it had trouble standing up even when full. The Borealis is very well structured and stands up even with not much in it. I really like the separate laptop pocket, I store my Macbook air and iPad air comfortably in there. 10/10 definitely recommend for college! It also has kept all my things dry, and I live in Oregon. The perfect backpack for work, has plenty of pockets and GREAT material

Pack was purchased for a Washington DC field trip and daily school use. Perfect size day pack and the laptop sleeve is handy for school chromebooks. Could use side compression straps.

This backpack is holding up well.

I got this backpack right before I started school. It has held up well and I love that it has a padded laptop pocket and organization pocket! (I put my kindle in the pocket that is supposed to hold an iPad) The only things I would ask you to change is the two pockets farthest away from yourself is hard because if you put something chunky in one of the pockets it is hard for you to put something in the other one like keys or something. Maybe other people would not have a problem with the keys part because I have a lot of keychains on mine :). Also, I don't really use the bungees... seems like they are just there for show? But I have seen people put lunches and stuff in there. Otherwise, I love this backpack and would totally recommend!

I love it it's lightweight fits my 16" laptop and the front straps make it comfortable to walk long distances across my campus.

I walk around the city all day and it is durable and stylish. I am able to lug my work laptop, workout gear, sneakers, and my lunch. I receive so many compliments on the color too!

I use this bag for everyday uses and sometimes work. I received great compliments on the bag.
