This back pack is the most versatile pack I've owned. It works for skiing, trecking, and daily activities. It is durable and well constructed.

My daughter loves the backpack . She can fit all of her supplies in it . She has not used one in years . But at high school they all carry them .

This pack pack is great! I am a college student in Ohio who gets rained on all the top. My laptop and books stay dry!

I really liked the fact that it came with cushioned back padding and strap padding, it really helps when carrying. When I was looking and comparing the bag itself looked like it would be a bit bigger than how it came. I was hoping that the dimensions would be a bit wider so that it would fit things more easily. When reading reviews they made t sound bigger. Maybe in the future it might be beneficial to make the separate pockets for placement a bit wider to fit books etc more easily.

I have wanted to get a North Face backpack for the longest time but have always been hesitant about the price. One day I decided to just go for it and buy this one. I originally wanted a different color but that got sold out within hours. I finally decided on the green and orange one. This backpack is so pretty, I always get compliments on it! It also has great storage capacity with different pockets. I wish the laptop sleeve ran through the whole back of the backpack, but other than that it is perfect! Definitely recommending to my friends (:

The quality of the product is good as I have come to expect from The North Face, however the picture looks more grey than metallic. The actual bag is very metallic, my daughter didn't like it but it was too late to send it back since the shipping also came later than promised.

This bag is very durable and comfortable to wear. The straps and back are well shaped and distribute the weight of the pack evenly. The material is sturdy and looks like it will take a beating as far as wear and tear goes. I love the fact it has two water bottle pockets, and a small zipper pocket on its outside. I was very surprised when I first picked it up to see how large and heavy it is. This is very much an out-doorsy type backpack, so if you are looking for a normal light weight canvas bag, this might not be it. Also, though it is a very tall backpack(with a great sized laptop pocket), it does not expand out very far. I can only cram maybe two 2-inch thick textbooks in to the main compartment before its full. All in all though, very happy with the purchase. Its a cute color (black with light blue trim), and I love all of the pockets and pouches that are available.

Very well made backpack, with plenty of pockets to organize your stuff. However I did have to return it because it said that the laptop pouch would fit a 15" laptop, and while it does fit, it is very very tight and can be difficult to put in especially if there are other books in the backpack. And I didn't want to damage my laptop or the backpack by having to do that multiple times a day. Overall it was great, definitely held more than I initially thought and I loved the colors (black and ice blue). But in the end it just wasn't right for me. Instead I will be buying a Surge II.

I love this backpack! I use it for school yes it made me downsize but it forces me to be more organized and I like the cleanliness of the backpack. I would definitely recommend it!

I got this bookbag for myself, I'm a senior in high school. I have to carry my laptop and other heavy books in there. But this bookbag doesn't make it feel as heavy as it is. I love it

Honestly a really comfortable backpack. I can fit multiple books and binders. My laptop can fit and is well protected in there. My most favorite backpack

Great bag. I wanted to use it for school. The only issue that I have with it is the multiple unnecessary straps. You have to secure them to keep them from dangling if you don't want to strap them around you. It also is difficult to put your books in because the space can get really small. Other than that, it is a durable bag.

So I bought this backpack for my first year of college this year. The quality is wonderful and I am not worried about it breaking, but with that being said, there are a few things to keep in mind. This backpack is not for someone with a lot of big textbooks to carry around all the time. There is not a lot of room and I find it hard to put things in and take things out of it when it is so full. Usually if I have a large gap between classes I will go back to my room and exchange materials for the next class. This isn't a huge issue for me because I do have large gaps that I would be going home for anyway, but if you are planning to carry a large amount of items at one time, I would suggest a bigger backpack. One more thing to add, the laptop compartment has a fairly thick bottom that sticks out and takes up some space in the bottom of the backpack even when there is no laptop inside. Don't get me wrong. I love this backpack and I love that it isn't TOO big. Most days it is big enough for everything I need and it's just fine. My laptop and tablet feel safe and secure and overall I am happy with my purchase.

Purchased for my daughter in high school and she loves it. Looked just as pictured when received it, very stylish. She carries and ton of stuff and it is great for her!

I love the backpack and the different storage spaces available within the backpack (I use them all!). I just wish the main part of the backpack was bigger! I use it everyday and almost everything fits in it! I would definitely recommend it to a friend and I would purchase more thing from The North Face, they make great quality products that I love!

It works really well in the rain, snow, etc. however, the bright, shiny silver makes it seem like you're about to go off into space. Should've chosen another color.

It holds water bottles and the front panel is great to hold your jacket. The tablet pocket is great!

The backpack itself is exactly the style I wanted, the color, eh. On the website the color said coral and looked a nice soft coral. When I received the backpack it was a bright orange, it's not a bad color just not what I was looking forward too. Although the backpack is still perfect and the style I wanted!

I ordered this book bag the week before school started. It got here in time, which was great. So far I've enjoyed using the book bag. It fits my laptop, iPad, and books without a problem. It is also very comfortable even when there is a lot of weight from my books.

I've been wanting one of these backpacks for a long time and I'm not disappointed. Holds my stuff and looks good.

I ordered this backpack for college, but had to return in because it does not expand nearly enough for me to fit my (giant) textbooks and notebooks. I went to the store and bought a Women's Recon, and it is much better. If you are a college student, I do not recommend this bag. If you are buying for another reason, this bag is wonderful and the colors are beautiful!
