This is a great backpack! I would definitely recommend to a friend! I like the look and style of the bag. It's light weight and extremely durable. I use the bag for high school. One thing that's a little disappointing is the size of the largest compartment. It fits about 2 binders and 1 text book. However, it's great for heavy load. The bag distributes the weight perfectly and makes the load a lot lighter. Lots of storage for electronics, pencils and pens, water bottles and jackets. Great buy.

This was a gift to my niece and she abosoultly loves it. She carries a lot of books everyday and her bags usually get worn out fast but this backpack has been helpful and still looking new after a few weeks now.

Great school back pack

I am a college student who needed a cute, durable, roomy backpack with great support. This backpack is perfect for going to classes, carrying on to planes and everything in between. Enough room for laptop and multiple books. Would highly recommend to any college student.

Perfect for students!

I ordered this backpack for my sophomore year in high school, and it came within one week. When it arrived, I was so happy with the product! I ordered the grey and surf green recon, and the colors are beautiful and bright. The laptop and tablet sleeves are very useful in school for my laptop, and the secondary compartment has awesome organization pockets for my calculator, pencils and pens, small books, and other random items. The front mesh pocket is also helpful to put oddly shaped items in or things I don't want in the zippered compartments, and things don't fall out of it. Overall, this backpack is the perfect size for a high schooler, with high comfort, style, and durability.

Best Looking backpack

It is extremely comfortable! I love it. It holds all my books with room to spare and it doesn't hurt by back even when I wear it all day walking to class. The color was so cute and I'm so pleased with this book bag.

I bought this for school, and it fits three textbooks and 4 binders. It is also perfect for my laptop and tablet. For my hiking trips it for water bottles, clothes, and a camelbak water sac. I love this pack!!

School Bag. Extremely spacious for a 8th grader. Perfect size.

This is a good backpack for school if you do not have too many books and/or binders. It is deep but a little narrow. Lots of pockets for accessories and organization.

I use this back pack in college and it is great for toting my books around and also safe to put my computer in.

I honestly love this product. Before this I had my backpack for 8 years. I don't like any other pack pack. The North Face is comfortable, fashionable, and fits all my books and binders for college. I'd to comment this for everyone.

Loved it

I love the color, size, and fit. The backpack is definitely stiff when you first get it, but once you fit it to you and use it a little it will fit better. It fits my nalgene bottle that is really fat so that's awesome. The only thing I don't like is that the back panel piece on the inside is a little long and makes it easy for the backpack to fall over when you place it sitting up on the ground against your desk or a table. I also wish it had one more pocket in the front and there was a way to hide or take off the longer cords that dangle if you don't clip it on yourself. Love the pockets that are protected and extra soft and the mesh pocket in the front. Great color and great for a college student. Fits several books, notebooks, a folder, binder, and laptop!

I ordered this for my niece. We chose the hydro green color. The bag arrived and it's a sky blue. Not what we were expecting. Other than that, she really likes the bag.

My son said its the best he has ever had!

This bag is used for an 8th grade student. She loves the colors and I love the durability of the bag. She had another north face bag, the borealis and it lasted her 3 yrs and she handed it down to her 3rd grade sister as she needed more room. The borealis is good for late elem. And middle school. The recon is great for 8th grade thru college. Hoping this bag will last thru high school and then be handed down which I'm sure it will. My daughter is small and the books were killing her back, all the other bags had no support. The northface bags have supportive spine pieces and cushiony straps. It's a great bag and I love the added whistle on the buckle. If she ever needs it ,it's there for her :)
