I am a size 9 wide. I have always had feet wide feet and certain boots can be very uncomfortable and cause my feet to swell. These shoes are waterproof and SO comfortable. I wear them with wool socks and still have plenty of room and remain very comfortable. A wide is truly a wide. Room for warm socks.

These are the 5th or 6th pair of this style of boots that I have purchased. I wear them daily for work and the waterproofing lasts anywhere from 9-12 months at which time I buy a new pair. The shoes themselves would probably last for 1-2 years if you didn't need the waterproof feature. I spend approx. 50-70% of my work day in the field walking on slopes, riprap, & wooded areas and these boots serve me well. I have walked through water nearly 4" deep with no issues when boots are new. Comfortable and stylish. 100% recommend.

Fits really comfortably! True to size. Great traction. Great shoes for first time hikers.

I adore these boots! Amazing fit! (disclaimer - I did put gel insoles in them because I put those in just about every shoe...) I will testify to them being waterproof. Two days ago, while checking our mail in the evening, I didn't see the giant ice-laden puddle because I was trying to avoid slipping on the mounds of ice piled up at the mailboxes. SPLASH! Right boot totally submerged just below the top of my boot - laces and all. Was waiting for my sock to start absorbing even a little water. NONE! Foot was cold but totally dry! Very impressive! I will be ordering another color! I need to get some for my daughter! Great for walking around CSU campus! :)

I hike with several women who wear sturdy stylish boots, and since I needed new boots I asked them what brand they were. They told me Columbia, and I asked if they were happy with them. They both said they had had their boots for several years and the waterproofing held up. This is important because the area we hike involves walking through streams and mud. I am very happy with my boots, which keep my feet warm and dry.

I have many foot issues and the podiatrist recommends support for the ankle. I have three pairs of this boot in different colors. My orthotics fit perfectly and as a teacher who is on my feet all day, nothing could be more comfortable. I just wish they would make it in white for the summer. I am an 8 wide and find it hard to find high top, supportive shoes.

I just love these! I bought a pair last winter and had to buy another pair this year in another color. No need to break them in fit great right out of the box. Excellent value & quality.

After reading other reviews, I decided to order the wide version of my shoe size. They fit perfect and are extremely comfortable.

Bought these boots for my wife. First time wearing them she said they were the best boot she has ever worn. Very light weight, but rugged.

Most comfortable hiking shoes I have had for as long as I can remember.

I like these boots so much I got two pairs! :) They fit so well I didn't even have to take the time to break them in and have ventured up many mountains with me. I would likely buy them again if they don't get discontinued!

These boots are sooooo comfortable and offer warmth for our rainy cool weather in Michigan. Love them, ordered a pair for my daughter and she loves them! Needed for hiking trails.
