Very nice light-weight but sturdy hiking boot that felt comfortable right out of the box for a 4-mile hike, and 7 miles the next day. No blisters or rubs anywhere. Good roomy toe area "every toe can smile" as my grandfather used to say was the test of a good boot. I wear either a 9 1/2 or a 10 in women's shoes normally. For these I went with the 10 to allow heavier socks and the fit is great. The look is also as flattering as a hiking boot can be. My big feet do not look like the clodhoppers they are in these boots. I'm really glad to have found them.

Love these boots! I googled "best hiking boots for Iceland" and these were one of the choices. I looked on Zappos and they were on sale! Bonus! They are comfy and sturdy and I've walked in them extensively to break them in before my trip, but it wasn't really necessary. They fit great and were perfect from the minute I put them on.

Great hiking boot. Very comfortable, provided enough arch and ankle support. Ready to wear right out of the box. I broke them in on an 11 mile hike and had no problems!

Bought these for my daughter who is in Scouts and she used these on a hike. Her feet stayed dry and she said they are comfortable. She typically wears an 8.5, but I bought a 9 so she could wear heavier socks. They came home muddy, and we wiped them off and they look great. Awesome purchase!

I needed these, in a hurry, for my job which requires being out in the winter elements. I wore them around the house and rushed them into service the next day. I was thrilled by how comfortable they were! I wear orthodics and worried that my feet might be too cramped. Plenty of room and comfort to boot! I was in snow and ice and the traction was great. So excited to have these and wish I had jumped on getting them earlier.

Bought these for my 5th Grade daughter to wear on a 3 day field trip with mostly outdoor activity. She is happy with the fit and said they are comfortable. We ordered 1/2 size up so she could wear thick socks with them.

This is the second pair of this boot that I have purchased and have found them to be super comfortable and rugged for camping, hiking, and walking in the snow. I add a small insole just to give more arch support and cushion, but have walked many miles in these boots. Fit is true to size and I just purchase the standard medium width since I have an average width foot. I never have had any problems with them creasing weird. These are very water resistant and unless you put your whole leg in water, your feet will stay dry.

I ordered this boot for my up coming trip to Peru so I have not worn them extensively at this time. I put them on daily and so far walk around the house to be sure they are a good fit before I go outside and get them dirty. My size is 11 wide and the boots feel like a good fit and comfortable. So far so good!

I work for a greenhouse and wear these shoes constantly in the elements and I have to say, I love these boots! I will water the flowers and stomp around in puddles and in the rain and my feet have yet to get wet. They are more lightweight then most boots and I must add, cheaper then most that offer waterproofing. I wear them for up the 10 hours a day and my feet do get a bit tired by the end of the day but after walking around for 10 hours straight, I don't know who's won't. They are definitely my go to shoes and can't help but say these were a great purchase. I typically wear an 8.5 in most shoes and these I got these in an 8.5 as well. The 8's fit but were a bit snug if i wanted to wear a heavier sock so I went with the 8.5s for a little extra room. Would definitely recommend these boots.

Loved these boots! They are waterproof, comfortable, easy to get on and off, and they look great! I got these and a few other styles for my family to try, and these won me over. I purchased these for a trip to Alaska and they performed like a champ on ice, in rain and on muddy paths. I was surprised that my feet stayed dry and comfortable for the better part of a day - no sweaty socks! Highly recommend!

I bought these for my mom for walking boots. She has awful feet problems, including plantar fasciitis, and using her orthotic inserts, she said the support from these (arch and ankle) was fantastic. She wore them all day in rain and cold, and her feet were warm, dry, and comfortable. They also looked great!

I got these because of the amazing reviews, and they did not disappoint. I am not a huge hiker but I do enough that I figured that I would get a pair of moderately priced boots from a trusted company. I broke them in during an eight mile hike in Boulder, Colorado across all sorts of terrain. They are light, waterproof, comfortable and I cannot wait to wear them again. I figure if I break them in in the Rockies, they will be good for anything. They are totally worth it. They felt a little snug at first but once you get going, they loosen up. I wore light Thorlo hiking socks.

I like the look, I've worn Columbia in the past the size is true to Columbia these are size 8 other brands could be 7.5 sometimes 7. Out of the box they were great, about a week into them they started to crease over the toes pinching my skin, even in thicker socks. My box is gone. I will be calling Zappos to see what we can do. I have faith because Zappos has always treated me right.

Cute and very comfortable while standing still. But, like other posters mentioned, they creased against my toes. Had to return.

These boots were great! I got them right before my trip and only got to wear them on a short hike before leaving. During my trip we hiked between 8-10 miles per day and the boots felt great. By the end of each hike I had "happy feet", for me that says a lot about the boots.

They looked great and fit well - until I started to walk. There was something about the left toe, felt like a seam or something was catching on my toenails even though I was wearing socks. Since I bought them for hiking this was unacceptable and I returned them. I have been having a very hard time trying to find shoes that fit comfortably so this might be my fault - I ordered 7W, maybe I should have gone with 6 1/2 W.

I am optimistic about these boots! The multitude of reviews warning of the toe crease really made me hesitate, but I am exceptionally satisfied with these boots for their price. There was absolutely a crease in the leather in a straight line across your toe knuckles. However, I've put around 35 km walking distance on them and the crease is now soft and flexible and no longer hurts my toes. These boots need to be gradually worked in to avoid that toe pain; I had no pain when just wearing them to my University campus and walking back and forth from my car to classes, and they softened up nicely. I wear a 7.5 in regular shoes most of the time, so that's what I ordered with these and they fit perfectly. I can wear a pretty thick wool sock and they are snug but not too stuffed. Plus I think they are super cute and simple. I'm wearing these for a three day weekend in Colorado coming up so I'm holding off on that fifth star until I can test them out in the elements. Will update.

I absolutely loved the look of this shoe -- and the leather felt so smooth. And I wanted to keep it -- but it creased at the toe the moment I put it on. I almost kept in even so -- but really I knew that initial crease would become a blister. If you could redesign this shoe so it doesn't crease, I would buy it!

I wear these boots everyday for work, over eight hours each day. I did notice that they creased in the toe box but I put some insoles in that raised my foot and that solved the problem. I wear a size 12 - 13 and these boots fit perfectly in the size 12. They are still waterproof three months later and they have stood up well enough that I just ordered a second pair for when they need to be replaced just in case Zappos no longer has them when that time comes.

I really wanted to love these boots, but ended up disappointed. The style is a nice combination between your standard leather boot and a hiking boot making them a great option for work or casual wear. I have a normal width foot but I did follow previous reviews and ordered a wide fit in my normal size which made the fit very comfortable. What I didn't like is that the boots crease when walking right over where the stitching is for the lower part of the laces. Just walking around the living room I knew this would cause blisters or hotspots on the top of my toes so I ended up returning them.

So far so good , for hiking shoes these are not hideous. I’ll be doing a nice 6 mile in them soon and I’ll update
