I've taken these boots on all my hikes since I got them and haven't had a single issue yet. They are super comfortable (didn't need breaking in!) and not too heavy. They provide good traction and have held up in the snow, mud, desert, heavy rain, etc. I read the reviews before buying and most said to order a half size up, however, I found them a little loose. Nothing double socks didn't fix though. If you're looking for good boots at a good price, these are it!!

I work @ UPS..work outside w aircraft all day. I'm in several different types of climate Cold-Rain-Snow-and many slick services. These boots hold up to all these conditions. I have bad arthritis in my feet and the support and comfort I find in these boots are tremendous. I only buy Columbia boots for my feet, I've tried the top other brands and these are the best! I've been an employee @ UPS for 33yrs and I always turn to Columbia for my outside work gear!

I've tried other brands in the past but nothing can beat Columbia. I bought a pair for my mother for Christmas and it arrived in less than a week. We share the same size foot so naturally I tried them on to make sure they'd fit her and they did with ease. I was so jealous of the boots that I nearly stole them for myself. Now I have to buy my own pair!

Very comfortable hikers, I didn't even have to break them in!

I haven't broken these in yet so will the comfortability rating be increased remains to be seen.

These are definitely very nice and comfortable . True to size . Nice for hiking and walking in for a long period of time . I'm very happy with my purchase.

If you are not used to wearing boots this ones will feel hard to your feet, they feel tight on your ankles, but after a couple of days of usage they can mold to your feet and feel great! Haven't test the waterproof part but I really hope is great quality on that too.

I bought this to walk around Chicago's potentiall icy wintery streets when my heat insulating boots are needed. I should have ordered my actual size, instead of a half size larger as another reviewer did (to make room for wool socks). It's too large since I also ordered wide. I had to buy insoles, on top wear two pairs of socks or one pair of wool socks.

It is comfortable and effective

These hiking boots are perfect. First I ordered them in size 7 but I had to return them and get them in size 7.5. In less than 5 business days I had the money deposited back to my bank account and my new order delivered. The boots are very comfortable and my feet feel very protected and warm. I got them in the color Quarry. I highly recommend these boots. Good day to you all!

I was in the market for a good work boot. I work for a trucking company, and I am constantly walking on asphalt and dirt parking lots. I also have to climb in an out of trucks often. I needed a sturdy, supportive shoe, but nothing quite to the extent of a heavy steel toe boot, and these worked out for me perfectly. They are non slip and light weight, which is great when you're walking around all day on gravel and asphalt. They are also waterproof, warm and quite comfortable. So, even though I'm sure this is a great hiking shoe, it has been a wonderful light duty work boot as well. I'm thinking about getting another color soon.

The primary use is on the beach so it's technically not a hiking boot for me. This boot provides great support & is very comfortable. I ordered Wide in my normal shoe size, and it fits perfectly. Thankfully, it's not a very wide boot so my toes have enough room but not too much. Highly recommend this!

Love this boot, I was wearing it at work for 10+ hours the first time I put it on. May run a bit larger than others I have tried, but great with a thick sock.

I broke my ankle and chipped a bone off my heel seven months ago. My right foot will never be the same. But, as I heal and start walking again I have found that these shoes provide amazing support and comfort to be out walking AND driving. I am so grateful for the wide width as my right foot will always be bigger now (plates and screws in ankle area). I have this particular style in black and have also ordered the suede type in two colors. They are cute too as I just moved from Cali to PA and they give me the confidence I need with my disability and new environment to get out and enjoy (albeit slowly). Thank you!

I bought this item for my trip to the Great Smokey Mountains over Thanksgiving week and they were amazing! I was worried about them being comfortable at first because I received them the day before we left, my fault waiting last second, however, when I put them on they were very comfortable! The day I wore them we hiked for 7 hours and I had no problems! The quality was great, they were also for cute and went with everything I wore. They were also very warm. Overall I was very pleased with my purchase and will be recommending it to anyone who asks for a good hiking boot!

I bought these boots for hunting. I wanted something comfortable and durable, that had great grips on the bottom so that I didn't have to worry about slipping on the ladder stand. I have worn these boots in the GA heat for dove season and I have worn them in cold weather as well. I have absolutely no complaints and I'm glad I bought them. I only wish I would have bought a half size up for when I wear thicker socks, but I wasn't thinking ahead. They are true to size! When these wear thin, no time soon, I'll be buying a second pair!

These boots are so very comfortable and lightweight. They absolutely keep my feet warm and dry. If you're looking for warmth, comfort and lightweight with nonslip soles then these are exactly what you want. I highly recommend these hikers. The quality is absolutely top notch. The best hikers you'll ever own.

They were for my wife and she's happy with the boots

I love these little boots! They are lite, good traction on wet surface, rain, and are waterproof. I wear these boots for my morning walk through the fields every morning and hiking our rugged Ruby Mountains. Plus I clean the barn with them, I wear them to wash down my decks, they are definitely waterproof and don't shrink! I order a special pair in wide to compensate for thicker warmer socks during the Fall and Spring months. I definitely recommend this product for an all around outdoor lite boot during the non snow months.

Waterproof and comfortable. The only issue is that when the shoe bends, that makes it tighter at the crease.

I've been looking for boots for a while that I could wear casually as well as for mild hiking activities. I really love these ones. They're very comfortable and did not take long to break in, and I love the color. I'm very happy with this purchase

This is my 3rd pair, so I can say with certainty that this boot work well for what they are intended. Light weight, waterproof, comfortable. Did not need any breaking in. I bought three pair because after 3 years of hard use I wanted a new pair to have for a long hiking trip. Then I lost the second pair and needed a replacement. Great boot!

These have quickly become my favorite boots! I think they would go from everything from ball gowns to flannels and jeans, right? Seriously though, they are gorgeous, I get compliments on them all the time, they are so stylish and functional, and needed no time to break in. The sizing is dead-on and the fit is so perfect. Am I gushing enough? If you're on the fence, buy these shoes! You will not regret it!

Bought these for work. So far they've been great . My one complaint is that the ankle is higher in the front than in the back but it doesn't impact the function of the boot at all. They were comfortable out of the box but my feet are fatigued by the end of an eight hour day. May need to replace insoles.
