Sturdy structure but not too heavy.

I wore these boots for 2 weeks straight straight out of the box walking on rocks, through water and uneven terrain in NM and SW Texas they held up great and my feet never hurt. I sprayed the boots with a stain repellent and they still looked new after wiping the dirt and dust off them everyday. There was no gouges out of the sole. My feet were not sore at the end of the day and I had no rub or sore spots on my feet. The other key is a good hiking sock. Do not skimp on a good sock if you are going to be hiking. I recommend buying a few pair in different weights and trying them out before a hiking trip. By far my favorite sock was Darn Tough Med weight.

I ordered a 10W because I am going to wear hiking socks in these boots. They were just a little too long. so I ordered 9 1/2 W and compared the 2. I’m keeping the 9 1/2 W and sending back the 10W I have only worn the boots once around the house and once on a walk. I want to break them in for a month before my vacation. so far the feel good but I didn’t like the socks I purchased. so I am going to look for a thinner sock. I don’t want to be thinking about my feet while hiking, so I’ll work out all the kinks beforehand. The boots are lightweight. roomy in the toe box and feel comfortable on my feet. I wear 91/2W in New Balance and Clark’s so these fit true to size.

Most shoes do not come in wide width so I was happy to find these shoes. I usually order size 7 to get shoes wide enough to be comfortable. I ordered 6 1/2 W, but . The width is great, but it feels like they are much longer than a 6 1/2. Rather than return them, I'll just stuff paper in the end.

Love these boots. I've had these boots for 2.5 years now and are just starting break free of the soles and get worn down. I work for a greenhouse so I'm always on my feet and are constantly getting my boots wet from watering the flowers. My feet are always dry and warm. These are my go to boots from wearing them at work to going for a hike to just doing yard work. Will definitely be buying another pair!

Was super nervous about buying hiking shoes without trying them first but these are breathable and comfortable! I bought two from here and it’s the right foot ?????

Very nice light-weight but sturdy hiking boot that felt comfortable right out of the box for a 4-mile hike, and 7 miles the next day. No blisters or rubs anywhere. Good roomy toe area "every toe can smile" as my grandfather used to say was the test of a good boot. I wear either a 9 1/2 or a 10 in women's shoes normally. For these I went with the 10 to allow heavier socks and the fit is great. The look is also as flattering as a hiking boot can be. My big feet do not look like the clodhoppers they are in these boots. I'm really glad to have found them.

Love these boots! I googled "best hiking boots for Iceland" and these were one of the choices. I looked on Zappos and they were on sale! Bonus! They are comfy and sturdy and I've walked in them extensively to break them in before my trip, but it wasn't really necessary. They fit great and were perfect from the minute I put them on.

Great hiking boot. Very comfortable, provided enough arch and ankle support. Ready to wear right out of the box. I broke them in on an 11 mile hike and had no problems!

Bought these for my daughter who is in Scouts and she used these on a hike. Her feet stayed dry and she said they are comfortable. She typically wears an 8.5, but I bought a 9 so she could wear heavier socks. They came home muddy, and we wiped them off and they look great. Awesome purchase!
