I have been looking for a pair of hiking boots for sooo long and I finally found the perfect pair! They're comfy and super cute! I got a size 8 1/2 (which I usually am) and it was perfect

These are my first pair of ankle boots, I usually wear short. I am an avid hiker and they are comfortable, true to size and durable. They feel well made and are supportive. I am still getting used to the feeling around my ankle so I've had to loosen them up a few times but I feel like these were a great purchase for the price. I need a wide shoe and these are spacious. I always order hiking boots a half size up, and love that Columbia offers half sizes.

these by far are the best hiking boots I have used to date. No need to wear them in, just put them on and go. They are so comfortable and work so well with water. Best waterproof boots by far. This item is highly recommended.

Out of the box and onto the trail, these boots felt great and functioned the way a good hiking boot should. We hiked through dirt, mud, small puddles, and snow. They held up great, kept my feet warm and dry.

Great boot. Very lightweight and comfy. Really no need to break the boot in. Put them on and hike.

Lightweight and comes in wide! A huge plus for people that have short but wide feet. 7.5 Women. Very fast if none break-in period. One thing that is disappointing, the upper is not real leather, it some kind of synthetic leather and just one or two places of small pieces of real leather. The main upper is not. Can't fool everyone. I got this boot to kick around in on the farm and for short small hikes.

Absolutely what I was looking for. Fit perfect! I'm a 7.5 Wide and I felt like it was very true to size. Wore initially for a few hours and didn't need to be broken in at all!!!

Love these for hiking on rough terrain! They are waterproof and kept my feet dry after over an hour of snow/slush hiking. I have ankle issues and these gave me great ankle support. I did have to throw a gel pad in the bottom to give a little extra cushion.

This shoe is just right for my working in the yard or other work sites. Can handle the wetness of the day & ground that is a little stony..

I went to Yosemite this past weekend and wore them for the first time. They were comfortable. The only thing is you do have to wear long socks so it won't hurt your ankle.

Bought these for Havasupai hiking. So far have used them for the practice hikes. Felt little stiff on my first hike but got really comfortable after that. Have hiked at a stretch 8 miles and had no issues. I find them great for long distance hikes.

I've gotten lots of compliments for these boots from my friends at the barn thinking they were higher priced, sport specific barn boots. Tall wet grass, mud, and muck doesn't soak through them. They've held up well under general abuse when working with horses and doing chores. So if they can withstand what I put them through, a hike on a trail should be a pleasure in them, too.

My girlfriend loves these boots. She's been wearing them in Colorado snow and on trails for about a month now. She's walked through streams and stayed dry. They are light, supportive, and stylish. They have the classic hiking boot look.

I am on my feet all day for work. I needed a rugged shoe that would keep my feet dry but it has to be comfortable, which is hard enough to find in athletic shoes. From day 1 these were comfortable, ALL DAY. They are light, so they don't make you walk heavy, the uppers are slightly open so they don't rub your shins, they stay dry in the rain. They did not need breaking in. And they look great on, I say that because so many rugged shoes and boots look bulky and these do not. If you have even slightly wide feet though, i recommend getting a wide size instead. I have normal width feet (nothing I've bought has ever been too narrow, but I definitely don't have narrow feet), and these are comfortably snug for me. I did decide to add a light cushion sole to the inside based on another persons review for a more bouncier/athletic cushioning feel, but they were comfortable without it if you prefer the stiffer trail feel.

I have several pairs of the Newton Ridge Plus and it is perfect for me. It has a removable insole, fits my custom orthotic. It's a sturdy, supportive boot but is lightweight and attractive. Currently my favorite shoe which doesn't irritate my foot issues!

I wore these boots on my trip to Madrid and Barcelona. We walked a minimum of 12 miles every day. Despite being a little large. They ran about a half size bigger than my usual shoe size. I feel like they definitely helped keep my feet comfortable, dry, and warm. I saw someone else talk about grip when it was wet outside. It did rain when I was in Madrid and I had no issues with slipping or falling. (Aside from my own clumsiness) I did replace the laces because I had issues with the ones provided staying tied. I also was annoyed with the tongue of the boot not wanting to stay tucked into the boot.
