I ordered a size 8 wide. It's a tad big, and 7.5w may have been better but I decided to keep it as it's not overly big. I have used this a few times out in the snow and it is waterproof indeed. I like how the hiking shoes are light, doesn't look bulky, has good traction, full ankle support. I haven't tried hiking with this yet nor wearing this for more than an hour but so far, I am really happy with this purchase.

Love them! I have a hard time finding wide shoes and these are comfortable and nice looking.

The shoes are well build with leather exterior and memory foam interior to provide comfort.

My teenage daughter is pretty picky about how hiking boots fit her as she has wide feet. She wears them hiking, hunting, riding horses and in the snow and she says they're really comfortable and dry. She absolutely loves these boots!

Great boots, wore them all day straight out of the box.

Great boots and true to size. First time I wore them was when I went hiking and they didn't even need to be broken in first, didn't feel any rocks underneath when the trail got rocky. Over all I am happy with my purchase and love the colors!

I LOVE these boots. This is my 5th purchase of these boots (4 for me and 1 for someone else). They're super comfortable and extremely light. They hold up very well and are great for both hiking and everyday wear. I had multiple pair because I wanted different colors at first but finally after almost a year I had to give in and purchase a new pair. You won't be disappointed, no breaking them in and no blisters. You can throw them on and go, right out of the box.

Ordered black in a half size up from what I usually wear in open toe heels so I have room for socks/sweaty big feet. Not only is it stylish and super cute, it handles steep and muddy hikes in Hawaii. I received a lot of compliments before they were covered in mud. Highly recommend! Lol

Have gotten these boots before and really like them. They are comfortable, wear well ,keep my feet dry when hiking and easy to care for.

Bought for our first cub scout weekend camping trip. I have plantar fasciitis and insertional achilles tendonitis on my left foot--but these were comfortable and supportive for all the walking/hiking we did that weekend. Stylish enough I may start wearing them more regularly.

I did not need to break this shoe in. It however runs true to size, and I expected it to run small and ordered a larger size initially. I had to return and reorder the smaller size. It runs exactly true to size for people with wider feet, and use the dimensions from the size chart seriously!

I love these boots. I find they fit and feel like good quality tennis shoes. I have 3 pairs because they fit well and are comfortable and wear much better than tennis shoes. I should mention though as someone else pointed out, if you do not use the top lace guides push them closed with pliers!! This is very important!! I also was tripped by the loop of the lace on the right foot catching in the eye on the inside of the left boot. (I do not use the top lace guides) I slip my feet into my boots without lacing each time so I have them loose at the ankle. I do not need the ankle support, but I like that they are tall for keeping water out of the boot and ankle protection. I waterproof them with silicone to protect them and they have always kept my feet dry in wet environments. I have a pair of 7.5 to wear with light weight socks in the summer. That is what size I wear in tennis shoes. I also have a pair of 8.5 to wear with medium socks. I recently bought a pair of 9's to wear with really heavy socks. I do replace the stock insoles with more padded ones and they fit fine. I have somewhat wide feet and often purchase wide shoes, but the regular width on these fits me fine.

I purchased these in the grey color at DSW this summer in preparation for winter in Oregon. They were advertised as waterproof and now that it's November I can tell youthey certainly are!! I do not plan to hike in them; I wear them to work (at my desk!), to the store, to walk the dog, etc. When I get home from work in the late afternoon I truly do not want to take them off. They are the perfect combination of sturdiness and cushy-comfort. They do not bother my ankles like some boots can and the soles are solid in wet weather and provide me with the support I need after a knee replacement. I have wider than normal feet although I don't normally purchase wide shoes - I did NOT purchase a wide in this boot. I have plenty of room with a Nike running sock. I normally wear a 9 however I purchased a 9.5 in these so I could add a thicker sock and still have room for my toes to move. A lot of times a 9.5 makes me feel like I have too much room in the toe and I stumble but that is not the case. I absolutely LOVE these boots. I am certain if you were a hiker they would be your favorite new boot.
