I love the way it looks and feels, and it's perfect for carrying three thick books and a lab coat for my bio. class. However, you might not want this backpack if you have alot to carry, including lap top.

I LOVE THIS BACKPACK! I was wary of the design on the blag but it is very subtle. There are TONS of pockets and the construction is great. I am not a huge fan of the 'foam bar' at the bottom of the laptop pocket - but I know it is there for my benefit. A very functional bag!

So far it's been very durable and convenient with all the pockets. Good day pack.

This bag is a great day pack, which is exactly what it is meant for. As a book bag to put your books in plus your computer, it is a bit small. However, I like that because then I can't carry so many books around campus so it doesn't strain my back. I have a 15" MacBook Pro and it barely fits in the pocket because it is too tall, but if you have a 13" this will be perfect for you! There is a cushion on the bottom of the pocket where your computer goes to protect it, which is what makes my computer barely fit. This bag will also be good when I go for day hikes. The front pocket has many different compartments which is nice. And if you're walking around campus and there's always a chance of unexpected rain, you can just shove your rain jacket under the cord on the front pocket! Also, I love the yellow!

This bag is great! I hate using overnight bags or duffle bags when going on weekend trips or just a one nighter, and this pack is perfect for all my needs. It can handle everything you would need and more, but also has small enough storage for jewelry, watches, etc. Padded back and straps make even heavy loads easier to handle. Feels incredibly durable and well constructed.

Best bag I have ever used. Perfect fit and feel. It doesn't make your back hurt when it's too heavy and it doesn't look huge when its too full. The laptop compartment is well thought out; there's a cushion in the sleeve so you don't end up slamming your laptop on something. Fits everything i need and handles all my textbooks, notebooks, clothes, and laptop all at the same time without any problems! Wouldn't want anything else.

Absolutely love this backpack. Great padding, perfect amount of pockets, fits all of my needs.

There's lots to like about the Borealis backpack, as others have said, so I won't repeat all the positives here. But, there's a few things I don't care for. The stiff back piece is also quite bendy, so if the pack is not full and sitting vertically on your lap (as when riding the city bus), the back bends like a banana, not to mention the bottom edge of the back board digging into my legs. It's the same when standing the pack up on the floor or somewhere, it just bends. Another thing, I don't use the waist straps so I removed them, but then I've got these two stupid-looking buckles (or whatever they're called where the straps attach) still hanging at the corners there. Who uses waist straps anyway? I wish it didn't have them at all, or they could be completely removed. Finally, I find the pack overall is about 1 inch too tall. It wouldn't matter except that stiff back piece tends to bump and hook into the belt I'm wearing on my pants, which is quite annoying, and I don't understand why it needs to be quite so tall. Apart from these complaints, the pack is great In every other way I can think of, durable, stylish, convenient, etc.

i have used this product for school for almost a year, and honestly it makes me feel so organized and prepared for every day because of the vast amount of storage space! carrying what feel like 20 pounds of books and things, i wouldn't call it comfortable, but the back support makes it bearable. overall super cute and stylish too!

I love this backpack, and I'm very happy with it! The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't stand up, which gets kind of annoying since I use it for school. Also, I got my backpack in white with coral detailing. It's super pretty but it's really hard to stay clean. I guess I should have been smarter and not gotten white! :)

I've used this backpack for travel and hiking. I love it for both. I got the charcoal color with purple accents. It was exactly what I was looking for. It's very nicely made and I think I'll be able to use it for a long time. The only thing that I didn't care for was the stiff back. I can't set it down without it falling over forward.

I love this product for my schools back pack! It holds everything I need and I stay very well organized. I have had this backpack just over a year and I have noticed in begin to tear at the bottom and sides of the inside.

Very nice and sturdy product. Bought this for my middle schooler. But it doesn't have enough room for all of her folders, and she doesn't even have large binders or textbooks. Would definitely recommend for sporting or leisure, but not for school.

Very nice quality, the only downside is its a little small. But it fits my school things very well.

I love that is has so many pockets but needs more space, and is really stiff.

i live this backpack since it's very trendy around my school and the color i got is very simple but stands out. i got the heather blue because i'm very stylish! this is a very practical and confertable backpack and i highly recommend it!

I love this backpack. I have had it for about 1.5 years now and I take it almost everywhere. It is perfect to take on family trips or vacations, to conventions, to camp, and to school. the bag is fairly roomy how every it would be nice if it where a little bigger because during the school year I have to squish my 1inch binders to go back into the bag. the tablet sleeve in the middle pocket fits my surface pro 4 perfectly. however be warned that if the bag is over filled in the main pocket has to many books or binders the tablet pocket can be strained causing the tablet screen to crack. After the bag was broken in a little it was very comfortable. lastly I love that the bag is waterproof so I don't have to worry about by computer getting ruined when it is raining or snowing however if something is pressed against eh zipper when its raining it does get a little damp.

I love this backpack. Ive used a North Face Borealis for the past three years and i'm getting a new one this year only because I want a new design. The only con I have about this is the back pocket isn't thick enough and its hard to wash.

I bought this backpack two years ago and i am still in love with it. Nothing on the backpack has broken in those two years and i have never once had the urge to replace it. This is the perfect backpack for a college student that also enjoys weekend hikes. I regurlarly load this backpack between 30-50 ibs worth of textbooks and what not and it still feels comfortable on my back. the built in laptop sleeve is also amazing. My only complaint is that sometimes my shoulder hurts while wearing it, but i think that is due to the fact that the straps are not exactly matching in length. Overall, it's a great pack i would highly recommend.

Well I've just bought this so as the header says " time shall tell" but I have to say great internal design with plenty of little pockets which is exactly what I need, the laptop pocket is a very nice soft material which I just know is going to be kind to my msi Apache pro. However it feels extremely tight like they designed it for another well known brand in mind. Given I have a fairly bulky laptop I can't really complain too much and I'm sure it break it in with time! My only niggle is also strangely enough one of this laptops stand out features, and that is it feels strangely stiff on the back. I actually was a little dissapointed when I got it outside swapped all my gear from my old berghaus ( broken zip from contacting corners of laptop, which this pack shouldn't have since the zips aren't as constrained by laptops shape) and put this on to try it out, I honestly thought none of the padding was in contact with my body because of the stiff feeling it has. Rather like wearing a board on your back, I'm going to put this down to having a different make of backpack and time shall tell! And how also a outstanding feature? Well no sooner had I put it on then I realised OMG where's my laptop! I must have left it in cafe Nero! But I swear to god when I took my new backpack off it got reassuringly heavier as the weight shifted from my shoulder to my hand :) it was almost like some kind of Darren brown mind trick like I'd been deceived to its true weight by the power of hypnosis! So yeah sits nicely on the back at the same time. So only time can tell .

This is a well thought out bag. I love the Black Heather material - the Pamplona Purple is much more a dark mulberry color than the bright grape as picture. Lovely color but much more subtle a contrast. The main compartment is not as large as I hoped because the computer padding takes up more room than I would have thought.

I use this backpack for class every day. I love that it has fleece lined pockets and laptop sleeve. It could be a little bit bigger, but that's my only problem with it. Great buy!

I really like how this backpack has so many pockets but unlike jansport (my previous backpack) it doesn't slump out on your back and look like a huge turtle shell. It is compact and durable, good quality for the price. Would recommend to a friend.

Got this backpack as we are expecting our 2nd baby and were looking for a diaper bag alternative that both my husband and I can use comfortably and easily. The style will suit us both, although the capacity is smaller than I had envisioned.
