I love carrying this backpack at college! It's super durable and everything fits in it just nice!

I use this for college it's amazing. I love it. It holds a good amount of stuff but I wish I could put in more. I like the durability and the straps for extra support are perfect.

My daughter loves the color and size and it holds all her books and supplies perfectly.

I'm a sophomore in college & I used to use a jansport windbreaker. It's simple with just one big compartment & one small one in the front. I also live in a college town that rains very very often & so my backpack would always get wet. I've all my notes & my laptop in there so it's important that I keep my backpack dry. My friend who recently got a north face backpack told me she was in love & I just thought I have to get one myself. Yes it's expensive, but I have to say the quality is awesome and there's lifetime warranty! I've used my backpack for about a week or so now & it's been nothing but great. When I first used it, it was wet flat but that's obviously inevitable since it was new & in storage for I don't know how long.

My back no longer feels crunched under the weight of a thin strap. This bag is wonderful. Straps alleviate pressure on your shoulders and the back is padded. As a long time student, I wish I would have invested in a high quality bag like this sooner! Save your spine! Worth every penny

Daughter carries heavy books for school... Backpack is durable!

Comfy and big enough for college students

This backpack is great! I decided to get a North Face backpack because carrying my laptop around for school was just so uncomfortable in a simple backpack. The padding at the back of this backpack is super nice and makes it easy to carry around a laptop and books at the same time. I ordered the Lagoon Iridescent Print color and I really like it--the different coloring is subtle and looks good together.

I love my backpack, i got it right before school starts and I love it so much. it has plenary of packets and it's very functional and durable!!!

I'm a grad student so I needed a backpack that would allow me to carry all the things (books, computer, snacks, etc.) I need for the whole day without letting me feel like I was carrying those things. And this backpack did just that. It comfortable and it holds what I need. Only con I have is that if you are someone that carry's a lot of textbooks around you might want to get a bigger backpack!

I use my North face bookbag for school and travel! It is the most comfortable bookbag I have had yet! My last bookbag hurt my shoulders and now with my new one I feel like I'm FLOATING on a CLOUD! It also has a spot for your phone iPad and computer and they are all padded areas! The Cons were probably actually nothing. I've never seen or worn a more comteable bookbag as this one!!

I bought my women's borealis backpack for my first year of college! I have pretty severe back issues and this is the first backpack that hasn't hurt my back worse at the end of the day. I love that my electronics are safe in the fleece pockets and I have plenty of room for all of my textbooks! Thanks The North Face!! -Sabrina age 18

I love this backpack! I have gotten so many comments on it because it is SO CUTE and I love how durable it is (ready for school, camping, travel). The only thing I would say is I think it could be a little bit wider, it is super tall which is nice for camping and travel, but it gets a bit cramped carrying textbooks and notebooks. They thought of everything you might be carrying and created a pocket with special features for it. Even if you are carrying a ton of stuff, they designed it to be comfortable and breathable so you don't feel overwhelmed or too hot.

I carry two different sets of books and supplies every other day and this backpack is very versatile. The padded back is an amazing feature and it looks like it's very durable.
