Love this backpack! I use it for day trips, as well as for work and school. It's comfortable and can fit everything I need!

As a dad and a teacher, I rely heavily on my backpack. It accompanies me at least five days per week to school and on vacation. I practically live out my backpack. So, after purchasing a Borealis for my daughter, I was so impressed, I purchased a second. My black Borealis looks stylish, feels great, and carries electronics, clothes, and my overstuffed books and folders with ease. Plus, zippers are beefy and smooth. Pockets are deep and many. Padding is everywhere; my MacBook appreciates that protection. I expect durability from TNF, too.

I am using this for work, and for vacations.

I use the product for my backpack in professional school and it's great. Perfect backpack.

I use it for school. I have yet to use it when I go hiking or on long trips where I need immediate storage by my side

My son loves this backpack and he uses it to go to his college everyday.

I purchased this backpack because I have recently returned to school and needed an all purpose backpack that could manage all of the books and supplies that I need for class. I chose the Borealis backpack because of the large main compartment and the numerous well engineered secondary storage options. There seems to be a place for everything and I personally enjoy the comfortable feel of the Borealis when I have it full of gear and I am walking around campus.

Love the backpack. It's cute, the colors are pretty, and I love the cloth pocket for my laptop. One thing I don't really care for is that there's not really a whole lot of room for books, especially if you have a laptop in. But besides that it's got a ton of small pockets for everything else you could want, chargers, phone, gum, you name it.

THIS IS REALLY GREAT FOR COLLEGE. I REALLY LIKE THE SLEEVES INSIDE FOR LAPTOP/TABLET. THE COLOR IS COOL.

Great backpack for high school. All work is done on iPads, and most textbooks online also. Secure laptop sleeve stores school iPad with required cover/case. I can put iphone in outside soft pocket, in inside soft tablet sleeve during bad weather, games, meets, etc. I walk to school so this helps with comfort and minimizes back pain. Fine with winter coat and lightweight clothing. Airy mesh back keeps me cool. Love the blue/turquoise color. Seems very durable, but wish the bottom had a stronger weatherproof fabric. Miss the key fob but small zip pocket works fine. I bring my lunch, extra snacks, plus athletic gear to school, so not always room for all, but manage well enough. Fits fine in our small school & gym lockers. Outside water holders are great-- very secure even for larger filled water bottles. 2nd outside mesh pocket convenient for recovery drink, umbrella, or quick store of phone. I plan to use this same backpack all 4 years of high school.

I use this to keep all my work supplies in. Very helpful in keeping myself organized. Fits a laptop and MacBook in extremely well, and you can't feel the laptop pressing against your back. Great quality backpack.

This is the best backpack I have ever had. it really helps your back when it's loaded with books and laptop! Carrying my old backpack hurt my back this new one doesn't! I wish this backpack was just a little bigger. Seems like it is great quality!

Best investment for a backpack ever. Super comfortable and lightweight. It distributes the weight of my books for class well and doesn't hurt my shoulders or back!

I love this bag it has done everything i could of possibly asked it do (including all the chicks i have picked up) this bag is perfect for when im going to school or even when i go in the out doors for the weekend. i have used this bag when i went on a weekend kayak trip and it was light weight and very comfortable the entire trip.

I use it as a school bag in college. I carry my 15 inch laptop in it also. However, keep in mind that my laptop is a pretty thin ultrabook. If you have one of those super thick, old computers, it won't be a comfortable fit, although you might be able to try. Keeping in mind that I dont unzip my zippers all the way around, second large pocket is kind of deep. I keep my wallet, calculator, lock chains, and a small planner in there. But it's kind of thin and deep so it you have to get the things on top out of the way to reach the stuff on the bottom. All in all, there aren't any huge problems. Sits comfortably on my shoulders. Really comfortable if you use the sternum strap and waist belt. Love that the sternum strap has a whistle. No one should ever be in that kind of situation but it makes you feel a a litter safer with the loud whistle in reach. A lot of the pockets are fleece lined and feels pretty premium. Very durable. Also, I love that the laptop compartment is like lifted up about an inch or two away from the floor of the bag. And the back of the bag is very hard and doesn't slouch. So you don't have to worry about your laptop getting damaged when you put your backpack down on the floor. I got the ZincGrey Heather/ Dramatic Plum color and I love it.

I use this back pack for back and forth to work with my laptop and ipad. It has tons of more room for my purse things such as wallet and sun glass case etc. It is very comfortable on my back and the straps fit great. Not that I have needed the whistle but it's cool.

I took this backpack traveling around Thailand and it was perfect. Comfort level was amazing. It went through a lot so completely durable. And it was perfect for a variety of uses. All over a top line product.
