I use this backpack for grad school, so I don't need to fit a lot in it, just mostly my computer. It fits everything I need and has so many different pockets to store small items as well. I also bought this for when I travel so I'm excited to use this when I go to Europe this summer!

Great backpack for school, weekend trips, hikes, and as a carry-on for flights. I had my first one for over 8 years, with only a few minor tears and dysfunctions. I was getting ready to replace it, when I tried my luck at getting them to replace it (there is a life time warranty for manufacturing defects), which they did in about 7 weeks. Worth the wait. I will continue to support this company for a long time.

I bought this backpack for holiday trips in- and outside of the country I live in. I had a certain expectation when I bought the backpack, and it exceeded every one of them. The bag has small and large compartments that fit all of your items in a save way when you are on vacation, and the bag itself fits comfortable on your back.

As a student studying abroad, I wanted a heavy duty backpack that would be versatile between school and travel. This is perfect! It has numerous pockets and fits everything I need it to. I don't have to choose to leave anything behind and it's comfy for everything I want to lug around with me. Will definitely be a backpack I will buy again in the future.

I got this as a Christmas gift. Best backpack I've owned, seams and zippers are great quality. Looks great too- I dig the north face aesthetic a lot.

I love the two water bottle holders! The many different pockets and storage places are amazing. I also really like how I can keep my laptop in there and not have to be concerned of it getting banged up.

This backpack is very comfortable and lightweight and easy to walk around and carry things like heavy books in. One of the great things about it is that there are straps to make it bigger and to fit more stuff into it if you are carrying a lot, but you can also fold it all back together and it becomes very small and easy to carry around. It is very easy and good for traveling because it is comfortable to walk around in and can fit a lot of things in it for big trips. There are lots of great pockets and little slips which I really like because I can feel safe putting small things in these pockets and not worry about losing them. One thing that The North Face could work on a little bit to make the backpack a little better than it already is would be to make the zippers a little less sticky. The zippers are okay, but sometimes when I zip them up or down they'll get stuck and I have to tug on them and jostle them around to get them working again. This backpack is great and I would definitely recommend getting it!

Use in school I carry all my books constantly. Roomy packs well lots of pockets room for two water bottles.

I purchased the Women's Recon Backpack for my college student. This backpack is definitely made for endurance and comfort !! Well worth what I spent on it!!
