Great backpack but too large for the gift recipient. Great for travel and work combination trips but too big for every day.

I use the pack as my everyday work bag. I needed a supportive backpack for my shoulder per doctor's orders. It is very supportive and fits everything I need for work. The only thing I don't like is that it is a little stiff.

It's spacious and fits so much stuff. If I travel without a suitcase I don't even take a carry one anymore, I just use this backpack. Perfect for 3 or 4 day trips. I don't use plastic bags anymore when o go grocery shopping and just fit it all in this back. My iPad and MacBook are perfectly protected. It's comfortable to wear even if I put a lot of weight in it and the back of the backpack lets your back breath so you don't sweat too much plus you don't have anything sticking out against your back.

This is a solid backpack. I use it for work and it holds everything I need (lunch, jacket, iPad/laptop, and has great organizers pockets). I do wish the large main compared 1 or 2 pockets to offer organization in this compartment but overall, really great backpack

I use this product for travel. It's bigger than the other backpacks. More space for my laptop and personal stuff. This a great buy for me.

Bought this for my 9th grade daughter because she out grew her Borealis backpack. She said she loves it! She has room for everything! She really likes how it has many pockets for organizing. She just wished there were more options as far as colors.

Had this backpack less than two months while traveling and its should strap is falling apart. This is the second NF backpack that's done this to me and this pack was the replacement, the quality and warranty of NF products I think are just for life style use cases and not for actual use. Warranty replacements are pretty much useless if you don't have months to wait to get the backpack back. The way the strap is constructed also makes it pretty close to impossible to fix.

The design puzzles me as I'm still trying to figure out what the designer of this Router Transit was thinking with the design they used. It a total waste of space in comparison to the previous Router Transit. I regret purchasing this bag. The space in the upper outside point upward instead of downward and so if you put something in that pocket it falls out once you open the zipper. The designer must have been disorientated while designing it. The space is significantly less than the previous design.

Hey @thenorthface, I recently had to say goodbye to my North Face Router Backpack after just six months of use, and it's safe to say it was not a fond farewell. Here's my take on the experience: **Durability Woes:** Unfortunately, the seams of the backpack blew out within the first six months, and attempts to repair it were futile. This was a major letdown, and it seriously called into question the overall durability of the product. **Not So Travel-Friendly:** I initially got this backpack for travel, but it didn't quite live up to expectations. When fully loaded, it struggled to fit comfortably in overhead compartments during flights. Not the smooth travel experience I was hoping for. **Useless Small Pockets:** The smaller pockets, which I had hoped to use for organizing, proved to be useless when the bag was fully packed. A missed opportunity for better organization on the go. **Customer Service Letdown:** Sadly, my attempts to get assistance from North Face customer service didn't yield much help. A bit more guidance or some viable solutions would have gone a long way. In conclusion, the North Face Router Backpack fell short of expectations, especially for travel purposes. While it might work for books, it left much to be desired as a travel companion. @thenorthface, I hope you take these concerns into consideration for future designs. #NorthFace #BackpackReview #CustomerExperience

Great size and durability. Excellent utilitarian design with a balance of style and function. My laptop stays secure with adequate padding. Lots of pockets and compartments for staying organized. I get many compliments but that not as meaningful as the pleasure and utility I get from using this bad every day for the office, gym, or outdoor adventures.

I bought this on the quest for the perfect personal item for travel. It's bigger than the requirements but I believe it will work well because of the compression straps. Has some grest pockets and internal protection for devices.

I used to have the smallest backpack, so buying this one I was determined to get something roomy for grad school. For reference, I am a woman and 5'8. It suits my partner, 6'1 male, way better. The bag while filled does look kind of huge and slightly silly on me. I'm also not the strongest in the world so this can get super heavy with my laptop, iPad, notebooks, water bottle etc. which is a me problem, but be warned if you have a tendancy to fill your bag up all the way!
