These shoes are a heartbreaker. I had to order 3 pairs to realize they ran about 3/4-size too large: was swimming in my usual 7.5, jammed into 6.5, couldn't get size 7 to fit properly even after various combinations of inserts and heel grips. They are gorgeous and the tan nubuck makes your legs look miles long. But I could not get my heels to stop slipping out and, what's more, I did not find them to be comfortable at all. The heel height is fine with the platform but the upper felt very stiff, like a cage on my feet. It is probably a blessing that I couldn't get these to fit because the first time I wore them I'd probably be kicking myself for paying so much to be in so much pain. Give them a try though -- it looks like most people find them comfortable. And did I mention they are gorgeous?

Love them for so many reasons, but they have a "timeout". I wore them to work the other night and had to walk through Palo Alto, CA after dinner.....I ended up walking barefoot. I did go down a size (usually a 9.5 and did purchase a 9). I'm going to continue now to wear them at home and make sure that I can ensure they are able to make it through my busy days. The blue color is stunning, however before you wear, I STRONGLY suggest purchasing KIWI heavy duty waterproof protectant. It was recommended by my cobbler as this is a stubborn suede (meaning not all that forgiving)! Hope this helps!

I'm so disappointed with SW's quality. First, the vamp of the shoes are not even. The right shoe has more material on top of its shoe compared to the left shoe. Second, the cork was not even either on the tip of the shoes. I would think that aesthetics among other things would count as quality on a pair of shoes that are pricey. I ordered the 6 and although the width fits, it's a little tight. The suede is very stiff and could feel that the edges would cut into my skin in a few hours of wear. I think I could've fit in the 5.5 length wise but I doubt the width would be comfortable at all. As it is the 6 are already a uncomfortable.

Love the style, and 4.5 is a good size, but it is very narrow for its 'medium' width--could be because of the size, though I highly doubt it, I have other 4.5M size shoes (not necessarily SW) and they aren't narrow like this pair. I was expecting a better product for the price.

So gorgeous yet so uncomfortable. Too narrow for me, my baby toes are begging for mercy. Sadly, they are going back. I don't have a very wide foot, but these are made quite narrow. Too bad, I love the look and how much taller I am in them.

I usually wear an 8.5 or 9, but had already tried the 8 in a Stuart Weitzman store (it was all they had) and I knew they were just slightly too small so I went with the 8.5. On me the 8.5 is a little too big so there's some heel slippage. There's also absolutely zero cushioning or arch support. I don't think I should have to go buy heel grips and gel forefoot cushions for a $400 shoe. I guess I got caught up in the "Kate effect" (seriously, shame on me!) because there is absolutely nothing special about these shoes and I'm considering returning them.

I have read all the reviews and have come to the conclusion that the sizing of this shoe must have changed from when it was first made available until today. Early on, reviewers recommended buying a half size smaller and often discussed the "difference" in interior/exterior appearance between the Zappos site and the Stuart Weitzman site. However, by the time I became aware of Zappos wonderful website, this shoe was sold out and I've had to wait for a new shipment, which finally arrived! After heeding the reviewers, I ordered a half size smaller than my usual size, but my foot is absolutely not comfortable in this size. For me, it isn't the overall length of the shoe that matters, but where the ball of my foot falls in the last that makes the difference between comfort and discomfort--and the ball of my foot is not seated correctly in this smaller size. The shoes I just recently received look as they should, with a pinkish interior and a heel medallion. They are beyond gorgeous, as has been roundly reported, so I fully understand why all of us want them so badly. And we, myself included, are willing to sacrifice comfort for looks. But these shoes do NOT fit well and for the $400 price tag, I feel that is inexcusable. I DO believe that I would have been more comfortable in them had I ordered my usual size, but even in this smaller size, the heel cannot be restrained on my foot. That problem would only worsen with another half size of length.

I was so delighted when I saw these shoes, that I did not hesitate to buy them. I had tried them in an 11 in Nordstrom Rack in patent leather (there were on sale, but they were just a bit too tight, but they were otherwise perfect, so finding the 11½ was just exciting! I was utterly disappointed when I tried them on. The 11½ was hanging off my feet, to the point my feet wobbled as I walked. The medium width was also wider than expected, to the point where it gaped. The material was hard and unyielding, which makes the shoe utterly uncomfortable. The shoes are beautiful, but I truly found nothing redeeming about their fit and comfort, and so I will return them without regret. Stuart Weitzman, you sorely disappointed me this time.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! What happen to these shoes? I own these Corkswoon's but in black patent. Been waiting for these blue suede for a long time. Just as previous reviewers mentioned...these shoes are not the same as in the photo: these shoes are missing the little silver grommet detail in the back of the shoe, and the interior sole is nude instead of black (note that it is also not leather but PU). There is also no detail stitching of the interior sole, either. Suede is stiff and does not look like it would ever break in. Sizing has changed from 1/2 size too large to 1/2 size too small. I exchanged these 3 times...no more...will do without. Have to mention, Zappos CS was excellent in trying to resolve these problems.

I love Stewart Weitzmans, but this is the single-most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn in my life! They look great, but are literally unwearable. The heel height is fine, but the leather is stiff and cuts into the top of your foot. They have yet to break in. They run at least a half size large. The toe box is extra narrow, but the heel kept slipping off my foot. Between constantly coming off my feet, and leaving them bloodied and blistered, these have now found a permanent place in the back of my closet.
