I have had plantar fasciitis in the past and can no longer wear flat flip flops. These are the perfect answer to living in sandals all summer. They have amazing support and are so comfortable. I love them, and even bought a pair for my 14 year old who needs more support from her shoes as her arch tends to flatten out. They are expensive, but worth the price. This is the second pair I have purchased. I wore the first for a year and a half!

My heel hit the edge of the back, and the strap was uncomfortably tight across the top of my foot. I will try a size larger. I hope that does the trick because I like the look and the sole promises to be so comfortable in the right size. I am giving five stars across the board, expecting that a bigger size will do the trick.

Finally found a flip to fit a narrower foot! I am thrilled and will be buying several other because I have a color choice! Wore them 6 hours the first day. Great fit.

I gave these a try. I had tried their Sandals with a continuous strap to adjust for: heel, arch & toes (from an Outdoor Store). I REALLY like the arch support (I have high arches). Even though their sandal didn't have a long enough strap for a High Arch foot: I was hoping that this Flip Flop would work for me n(since nothing has to go over my arch). However: my foot is NOT "thin" enough for this GREAT flip flop: The straps are a tad too TIGHT and don't seem like they will stretch over time. The toe post isn't high enough (Tall enough) for me & sort of stabs between my toes IF I walk at a normal pace. The fabric toe post DOES feel nice. So......disappointed that these did not work out.

The sole of this shoe is excellent! I wanted to keep them really bad but the top portion is too tight and there is no way to adjust. If only they would put a little stretch in them somehow....so sad because these would have been perfect. Oh and I do not have a high instep either....

I liked the shoe very much did fit comfortably. However, since it is more of a therapeutic shoe the cushion ball on one foot was too uncomfortable for me. Otherwise would have loved to keep these shoes.

Zappos was out of my size when I wanted to order, so I bought directly from the company website. When the shoes arrIived I was initially disappointed. The part that goes over the foot was scratchy and uncomfortable. I read the other reviews on Zappos and saw many had said the same. So I wrote a review on Zappos sharing my experiences. However, then I started wearing the flip flops and the fabric seemed to soften up somehow. The shoes are stiff, like a lot of reviewers mentioned, but I think this is because of the arch support. And the do run small. However, I don't notice any problems with the strap and can wear these for long walks and find them comfortable.

The width and comfort of the sole were fine but the straps that go from between the toes to the side were too loose fitting so my feet slide around too much. The cork soled sandals in the same size fit much snugger.

These have the metatarsal support I was looking for and really good arch support. They do fit a bit on the tight side (the straps) but the length is true to size. I would recommend these over the Orthaheel Cascade.

I love these flip flops since I have had plantar fasciitis for 2 years and must wear supportive flip flops. These arrived defective right out of the bag. The toe strap came unsewn from the main strap. I was so disappointed because they are replacing a pair in a better, but currently unavailable, color that also had the toe strap come unsewn after 10 months of wearing them. Maybe when you pay that much for a pair of flip flops, you'd like them to be built better. Either they're having a production problem, or I'm just unlucky. They don't have my size anymore in any good colors so I'll be ordering from another site.

This shoe really does feel good and offer great support, especially for all day summer activities that require lots of walking. The only down side is that although the insole may be made of an odor resistant material, the inside of the upper strap is not. So if you ate tromping around the ultimate concrete jungle of Manhattan on a certain near 100 degree day in June, the tops of your feet will perspire. The shoe strap absorbs it, the but then it will smell like said sweat. Ick. Had to scrub them. But other than that, great!

I have worn these for years- my favorites.. always getting the same size- this years version is shorter and more narrow than my previous pairs.- I held up to my pair from last year to confirm this. . bummer. will see if the bigger size fits..

Very disappointed! I did not read reviews before I bought and had same problem other reviewers have noted: the part that goes between the toes and over the top of the foot is stiff and scratchy. It looks like the seams are not well made. Uncomfortable from the minute I put them on, and they got no better as I tried to wear them around the house. I bought them right from Sole because Zappos was out of my size. I hope Soles as as good a return policy as Zappos because I will be sending them back. Too bad. I really wanted to love these shoes.

I have 3 other pairs of Sole flips and love them, that's why I bought these. The low rating is because the material between the toes on the right flip was much shorter than on the left flip making the right flip very, very uncomfortable. I'm sure it is a factory defect. I will have to return them.
