I was very excited to receive these shoes. I bought the gold, but they were a darker color than expected. Also, the sole of the shoe fit very well, but the ankles were too wide and my foot slid around too much to walk. Very cute otherwise!

These shoes are so cute and I really wanted to love them. I wanted to take them with me on a trip to Italy where we would be doing a lot of walking on cobblestone streets, and since they were wedges I thought they would be perfect. Well, I decided to wear them to my local nail salon while I get a manicure. And now my feet are killing me! The sole which I guess is made of cork is so hard. They were only a little uncomfortable while I was wearing them, but now my soles actually hurt. I think I will still keep them to wear out on dinner dates with my husband this summer. But I won't be bringing them to Italy.

Cute shoe, love the style. only problem is the way it was made. There is nothing between the material on the upper, that touches your foot. Since I wouldn't wear socks with these, they felt as if, they would rub against my foot while wearing, and it felt ruff and uncomfortable.

I wanted to like these wedges so much but I ordered a size 7 (my usual size) and they felt to big in the heel area. Then I ordered a 6.5 same problem. It's very disappointing considering my feet are average size not narrow not wide. Returning both pairs and all I wanted to was replace my old black wedges. No luck with these. All my other wedges have adjustable straps so hopefully find a black pair like that. They are beautifully constructed minus the heel area. I have a pair of heels from Michael Kors and I love them!

I wanted to like these but they just got so weird! They cloth top is too long somyour toes barely show, they looked terrible on me so I had to return them. Also sizes do not fit like normal sizes

These totally don't work for me. I have a wider foot but not so wide I can't fit into regular shoes. I couldn't even zip these up because they are so narrow. The zipper quality seemed poor too - it stuck even just trying to zip it back up without it being on my foot. The canvas was rough as well, without any give so I can tell it would rub blisters on my toes. I guess this brand is not for me; the quality wasn't great, poor/cheap? zippers and too narrow. I'm buying a pair of leather wedges and just returning these - thanks to Zappos great shipping/returns - not a problem at all on that score! Yay Zappos!

I don't want to sound mean but this was the most awful disappointment I've had in a long, long time. I listened to the overwhelming support of the reviewers here claiming how wonderful this shoe was and ordered them with great expectation. I was practically salivating when the UPS man pulled into the drive! I have never had a shoe hurt my feet as badly as these did! Now they fit perfectly mind you. I wear an 8 and I ordered an 8. No problem there. My feet are a little on the narrow side and 1 reviewer here practically described my foot which included her foot being a little on the narrow side. She stated MK made shoes that way which suited me fine. I've never spent this much money on a shoe before -- ever -- not even close and so I was thinking I was "moving on up." Well, Crocs and Skechers don't leave me now! I guess I just got cheap feet! Either that or I've just gotten use to the comfy types like Clarks which is what I traded these for. So good luck ladies. I'll keep the cheap seats thanks.

I was disappointed in these shoes. They are stylish but cheaply made, especially considering the price point. The canvas material is not well made and I don't think these would hold up to everyday wear.

These shoes look awesome and feel good for two hours and then they start to hurt. Also, the zipper starts to unzip by itself. That is such a shame because they are such hot shoes!

By lunch time you will feel as if you are walking on stone slabs. These are very uncomfortable. They are for sitting all day.

These shoes would have been awesome if they weren't the most gigantic size 6's i've ever tried on. I wear a size 6 in almost all shoes, and I've never tried a 6 that was this large. The box said size 6, but the shoes didn't specify a size on them....I wonder if there was a problem. SUCH a disappointment after all the awesome reviews. I was thinking these would be a sure thing.

I read reviews from some people with narrow feet and high arches, and they love the Damita. I bought two and tried on several at stores, various models of these, AND NONE FIT right. I have THIN FEET. So let's clarify that my feet may not be narrow by definition, as in width. But my feet are not bulky. As in thickness. When I put these on, I literally have an inch gap from my top of foot to the band where the zipper is. No stuffing can help that. I used to do foot modeling for print. When showing sandals, they look for "narrow" feet, and that means Not FAT, or bulky. Apparently today people have fatter feet. Sorry, but say it the way it is. If you don't have Thicker feet, these will be loose and you will flop around in them!

I loved these shoes and they were very comfortable for the first three times that I wore them. But while at work, the strap broke and I had to staple it back together in order to get through the rest of the day. Sadly, returning these as it seems like a design flaw and not worth the risk of trying a replacement pair.
