I have been a huge fan of Patagonia over the years, and hope this product is a fluke. The sizing of this jacket is wildly off. I am 5'7" and 128 pounds but the sleeves were short and tight on a size medium. The cuff is oddly secured with a rubber type gasket. I purchased this coat to replace my 10 year old puff-ball jacket. But, back this one goes.

Great coat! I was worried when I first received the coat that it would not be warm enough. I was happy to find out that the coat kept me very warm without the bulk associated with similar coats. For reference, it has been an extremely cold winter here. Negative wind chills for several days. I like how it fits closer to the body and does not make you look heavier. Would definitely recommend.

I am truly in love with this jacket. It's thin yet very warm, light and not bulky. It was perfect for both a 9-hour plane ride (which I am always cold on) and several days in 50-60 degree weather. I have thin blood and get cold easily, and worried that this wouldn't be warm enough. What I particularly love about this besides the cut, style, and practicality, is that it zips up to the chin so you don't need a scarf. The hood has a nice drawstring so it doesn't hang too low over your face. The jacket is also easy to care for - throw it in the wash, dry on low and hang. It also comes with a little pouch that you can squeeze the jacket in which makes for easy packing. I loved this so much, as soon as my Micro Puff arrived, I immediately got the men's Micro Puff for my fiance. He wore it in 30 degree weather for a short period of time and thought it held up well despite the colder weather. That said, he not wear it in 30 degree weather for an extended period of time.

I love this jacket. It's very warm but not poofy and it has a flattering shape. I'd just note that compared to similar jackets, it fits more snugly toward the bottom than at the top. I'm usually a small or medium in jackets and tops and I ordered the medium which fits just fine. The small would have been way too snug. The hood is pretty big to fit over a helmet, but it adjusts down to normal size. Only one interior pocket, but that's ok. And zappos delivery was amazing! I had it in less than 24 hours after I ordered.

This one was a keeper for me. I am 5'2" 115 lbs and the Small was slightly fitted, yet still plenty of room to wear a thick sweater or fleece. It's not as puffy as many of the quilted down jackets, which was more flattering for me. I needed a warm jacket to run around the ski slopes (not to ski..... just get my kiddos to lessons and such) and this looks perfect. The hood was an added bonus!

This is a great sleek, curve-fitting jacket that is stylish and warm. I've been wearing this jacket during the New Hampshire winter this year and have been very pleased with it's comfort and warmth without the large bulk of similarly warm jackets.

Lightweight, warm, and wind resistant. The hood is a big plus for cold, windy days. This is now my go to jacket for almost any type of weather. Zappos website was efficient and speedy delivery.

I just received this jacket and I think it is wonderful. I ordered a size L and the jacket fits true to size. I do think that this jacket is more for a apple shaped woman rather than a pear shaped woman though. Additionally, it seems to compress well in the stuff pouch that comes with it. I am really looking forward to wearing it in the cold Alaska winters, it is really great to have a light warm jacket that does not have bulk.

This is definitely not for the petite type. The way the sides are tailored makes this more flattering if you have a bust, which I do not really have. It is cinched weirdly where the front zip pockets meet at about the waistline. I had rounded shoulders and bumps everywhere. Unfortunately I have to return this.

This is a MEDIUM-weight jacket, not nearly as thick as it looks in the photo and certainly not warm enough for a cold day. The color is darker and more turquoise than it appears here. Plus the shaping is awkward, it doesn't nip in at the waist as shown and the front darts are embarrassing if you're an AA or A cup. So disappointed!

Still not sure it's warm enough and that's what I need! It certainly isn't the most fashionable jacket (a little bit boxy and very matte black with no stylish details). But I could forgive all that if I was completely warm. I think I will be returning for another option. And I had high hopes because my husband's micro puff from 3 seasons ago is perfect!
