My husband loves this shoe. However, he has a wide foot, but could only get it in an medium, so he bought a larger size thinking that would help. It did not.

I purchased these sandals because I recently wore out another pair of Dr. Scholl's Gaston sandals. They are made of thick leather with a very comfortable leather pad on the bottom for your foot. They look pretty good, but I wish they had more leather variety. Very durable. My first pair lasted 5 plus years. Good sandal for the price.

I have been using these sandals for years. Love them. Very comfortable.
But just be aware that you will need to replace them after 1-2 seasons (summer time) of use as the fabric rips

This is second time I purchased these sandals. The first pair lasted me two seasons. I found them comfortable. I have noticed that a sole material doesn't last long and wears out over time. However, I tried couple different brands and I still prefer Dr.Scholl.

The shoes are nice but the strap has to be longer so that men with thicker ankles and buckle them.
The quality is good, but a longer velcro adjustable type buckle/strap would be the answer to a better fit and satisfaction.

I bought these with great expectations as I like the style and they fit well in the store, but actually I didn't try to do them up.
When I got home and tried to put them on. The little plastic loop that holds the vecro fastener disappeared into the center strap and I couldn't get it out while my foot was in the sandle.
Maybe I have a high arch, or thick ankles, or fat feet, but I normally don;t have a problem with off the shelf footwear. Anyone else have the same problem?
A longer cross strap with a lower location of the velcro fastener would probably solve the problem. Thanks.
