I'm 5'3" and this is a great long sweater for the season. It takes a minute to get used to the deconstructed shape but it adjusts well to what makes you comfortable. The fabric isn't a soft sweater but it doesn't itch like a wool. I'm already contemplating buying the black too! I've received several compliments on the look.

I'll have to agree with another review, a bit too deconstructed for my taste. I think if I was a bit taller it might have worked but no matter how I tried it just wasn't working.

I wanted to like this! I really did. I'm 5'10", size 8. I ordered a Medium and a Large in the purple. The color is beautiful. The fit of the medium was fine but the shoulders felt a little tight and you really need to wear a shirt under this sweater. It is itchy. Unfortunately, the large was too large. I couldn't really get the collar to drape properly with either size. The buttons were spaced strangely and it didn't look right. Sadly, the sweater is going back.

Oh, please get them in different colors! I am buying the second one in brown heather. Very stylish, comfortable, great looking and warm.

Great sweater. I like the fit - the sleeves are long and the neck/button area is flattering. Good color too.

As others have said, this is definitely a deconstructed look so if you are more traditional, it might not work for you. However, it is a really unique and interesting alternative to the traditional sweater. It would look great over leggings and tall boots. For people who are self conscious about their butt in leggings, this provides great coverage in the back without looking too bulky in the front. I am 5'6", 132 pounds (slender/athletic build) and the small fits well. I was able to wear a thin, long sleeve shirt underneath but could not have worn anything more substantial as there us not a ton of extra room in the sleeves. The wool would be a bit scratchy without it.

Yes this is deconstructed and works best buttoned at the top. For straight wool it isn't itchy but not soft either. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it and find it comfortable, even under a coat. Lightweight but warm it fit the bill for me. I am 5"8, 134 lbs and a medium worked.

Love this sweater. Stylish and comfortable. Also love the length...below hip. It is lightweight and not going to keep you warm on the coldest winter days but it is a great sweater to layer and wear through fall, spring, and warm winter days.

Love, love, love this most stupendous sweater. So cute, so many options, so versatile; it looks good with a dress, a skirt outfit, jeans, boots, heels, EVERYTHING--AND it's light weight and warm. I absolutely love this sweater especially living in the PNW.

Fantastic! Finally a wool wrap that does not look as if one is bundled in a blanket. The cut is perfect, the color is a great neutral, and the length is becoming for my height (5'7"). This is a perfect layer. for transitional weather. Yes, it is wool (not merino, not a cashmere blend) so the wool would be slightly itchy next to my skin. But I will wear this many times with a black turtleneck and jeans. I think this will be my "Go To" weekend outfit for Fall and early Spring. Once can layer this under a rain coat! And for once there is not an enormous North Face Logo on a garment. Perhaps North Face will realize someday that not all of us choose to be walking advertisements! I love this sweater to pieces. Just received it and am wearing it today. I'm very petite (5 ft) & slim so not sure if it would work for me, but it does (I got the xs size). I love that it's "lightweight" and not bulky, I think that's why it works for me, as bulky tunic sweaters usually overwhelm my tiny frame. It is a bit scratchy so wearing a t-shirt underneath is a must. It's super comfortable & cozy (& keeps me warm), and I love the deconstructed look. If you're not a fan of the deconstructed look, this isn't for you, though it can also be warm as a button up sweater coat, but I haven't tried wearing it like that yet. I love it so much I also purchased the grey color one from the North Face website. This will be perfect to wear on the plane for my upcoming trip this October. I was looking for a wrap style cardigan for plane travel and this certainly fits the bill! Highly recommended for those who like the deconstructed look.

It took me a few minutes to play around with the buttoning of this sweater before I found the right look for me but now that I have- I love it. It looks great with skinny jeans and tall boots. I got tons of compliments on it.

I love this sweater--have already had several comments about it! The asymmetrical shape is very flattering and fun to wear. I am tall and wear the sweater with skinny jeans and boots.

This is the first North Face item I have ever purchased, and I couldn't be more pleased. The sweater is very deconstructed, but I just love it. I wear it with brown leggings and brown boots (Lassen Kansas 5411) and it's super cute. It has totally become my favorite outfit. It is surprisingly lightweight for wool. If you like deconstructed stuff, I couldn't recommend this sweater more highly.

This is a great sweater, made from light weight wool warm and not too itchy. It is good quality. It fits and Looks better on in person than on the model.

Fits perfect and looks great with jeans or leggings. Only draw back is the wool is a little scratchy but wear a long sleeve t-shirt and it is perfect.

Like most items unless it is labeled as a tall size the sleeves are a little short. I am 5'10", 150 pounds, and normally wear a medium/size 8. The sweater has a great shape and I got lots of compliments. I have worn it with leggings or skinny jeans, and boots. The material is a little itchy, but it is warm.

This sweater took some getting used to (and a few friends telling me not to return it!). No matter how much fussing I do with it, I can't get it to look like the model. The buttons are in odd places, but I just stuck to buttoning the top and that seemed to work best. The material is lightweight, and a little rougher than I would have expected, but great for a fall sweater.

This looked great on the model, but terrible on me! I have to say, I'm a lot curvier than she is. Putting it on was a little like doing a puzzle, but not the deal breaker.

Super cute, but a little too unstructured for my taste. That I could have dealt with but for the money, the wool was scratchy and I'm not one to complain about that.

This is a comfortable sweater. If only I could figure out how I'm supposed to wear it. I've tried buttoning it and unbuttoning it about 203 times, and, finally, opted to just wear the thing unbuttoned to avoid weird bunching and folding and gaping that happen. It's warm, it's a gorgeous gray color, but its design is fundamentally flawed beyond comprehension. Keeping, begrudgingly, for the warmth and comfort factor since it's a Polar Vortex out there.

Shapeless. Fabric is scratchy. Wooden buttons are nice. Hard to wear a shirt under this sweater because it's too much material and not enough body to the fabric.
