This shoe is absolutely gorgeous; stiletto elegance all wrapped up with a bow! While I'm generally opposed to this new platform and super high heel concept, Joan and David's leather upper and sole render the shoe more comfortable than those with manmade soles. The cutouts render your feet a feminine lacy decoration to whatever outfit you accessorize. The blush patent is pearlized to a pinky taupe, and the black patent is quite distinct. A superb style to dress up anything! The leather in the upper is less than buttery soft, so I docked J&D one star for materials. I wear a 10M and they fit me well. Unlike so many of these tall platform peep toed shoes, they are designed so that your polished toes actually cover up the insole of the shoe rather than leaving material uncovered. Great styling!

These are the very best pair of shoes that have ever been on my feet!! Wore them for about 8 hours straight - standing - the first time I wore them and my feet never were uncomfortable at all. They're so well made and just hug your feet just perfectly. I loved them so much I bought the red ones... And now I want the black ones too.

These shoes are very comfortable (considering they are high heels) and look very sexy. I love them! They run true to size. The stone color is beautiful.

These are possibly the cutest shoes I have ever owned (and I have a lot of shoes)! They do feel very slippery, but I will put something on the bottom to fix that. I am usually a 7.5, sometimes an 8, but I got these in 7.5 and they fit perfectly. I can't wait to wear them!

Love these shoes! This is my second pair of Joan and David shoes (first pair were my wedding shoes). They make the most comfortable shoes ever! These heels are very high but the platform in front makes them ridiculously comfortable. Wore these straight out of the box for 7 hours and had no problems at all! Got tons of compliments on them too!

These shoes were purchased for a wedding I was attending. After reading the reviews, my only concern about the shoes was their comfort, as others had expressed they weren't as comfy as anticipated. However, all of my apprehension was diminished as soon as I tried them on. These shoes are perhaps some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! The inside leather is soft to the skin and very flexible. I wore these all night at the wedding while dancing, walking, etc. without any discomfort. They are beautifully made. My only small complaint is that the ribbon to tie the shoe on top came fairly wrinkled so I had to put the steamer on it to diminish any wrinkling...but it was a cinch. Awesome shoes!

Surprisingly comfortable and amazingly cute! Receive many compliments every time I wear these, usually with wide-legged white pants and a black mick turtleneck.

I love these shoes! I never spend a lot on shoes, and ordered an additional cheaper pair hoping to return these and keep these. Once I took these out of the box I knew I'd be keeping these and sending the others back. They have that amazing leather smell when you first take them out of the box. I think the lining is suede or calf skin or something, but it is so soft. I have bunions and heels oftentimes cause my middle toe to be numb for a few days after wearing. I've noticed that wedges help with that. I wore these to a wedding and they looked great. I am the girl who ends up dancing barefoot by the end of the night, but not with these! I wore them the whole night, dancing, and even jumping up and down. I never felt unbalanced and my feet still loved me the next day (no numb middle toe)! Sometimes it is worth it to splurge and these shoes is one of those times. Also, if you avoid peep toes because they usually push your toe out and over the edge, not to worry. I didn't have that problem at all. Do your feet and fashion sense a favor and add these to your wardrobe!

I am so glad I decided to get this shoe! I am very short, 5 ft 1 in and these are quite tall heels but they are pretty comfy for how high they are. My first time wearing them I lasted 5 hours in them. I have only worn them twice and I get many compliments each time. Fabulous looking shoe and easy to wear. Favorite heels I've ever had, thinking about getting another pair for later or see if different colors are available. I highly recommend these shoes. I am almost always a size 6 and the size 6 I got fit me great.

I love these heels! I cannot begin to tell you how many compliments I've gotten already about these beautiful shoes. Not to mention, they are very comfortable, and for 4", easy to walk in. These are a must!

A gorgeous gorgeous pair of heels. The heels are very high but the platform really makes it feel not so high. They are surprisingly comfortable.

I am in love with these shoes! I ordered these in black suede. As soon as I put them on, even sitting down, I could tell my feet were made to wear these shoes; they fit like a glove. Then I snapped a picture quickly and to share the shoe joy with my friend who wrote right back "I'm gonna steal them." Now I am wanting to order the pink. Oh, Ms. Joan and Mr. David, what have you done to me!

These are beautiful shoes. I have wider feet though so I get the fun of stretching them out a little but on a plus they are leather so should stretch easily. The only reason I gave it four stars on style is because the ribbon is sewn onto one side and the bow doesn't tie evenly. I was hoping that it was removable so that I could put a prettier ribbon on it.

Well, it is true. All the reviews for these guys are right on! Arch support - check! Elegance - check! True to size - check! Style - check! These are keepers!

OMG, I am in love with these shoes. If you want to have that perfect pair of shoes these are it. I purchased these in black & they are beautifully flawless & comfortable, they made my legs look amazing. Ladies these shoes are pure romance!!! These shoes are worth the price!!!!!!!

Gorgeous shoes. So...wanted to buy them. I usually wear a 6, but needed the 6.5...they felt much better, but I realized that I seriously wouldn't be able to wear them for an entire evening (and my husband said if I bought them, he would refuse to carry me across the parking lot again...which he's done so many times after a night of wearing shoes that are too high for me). Again, beautiful shoes...just not right for my foot or bad knees.

I ordered these expecting patent leather and received them in suede instead. Also got a 6.5 when I ordered a 7, though that didn't end up being a problem b/c they still fit. Still on the fence if I'm going to keep them. They are very comfy to walk in. It's a little difficult to make sure the bow in front ties easily.

These shoes are super comfortable and well made. I love the cutouts and bow details. The reason for only 3 stars--the color. They are more beige than the pink that is shown in the picture. I'm a bit disappointed with the color.

Gorgeous patent leather shoes, but when I received them they looked like fake patent leather junk. Definitely not work it. I'll go back to my Betsey Johnsons. Thank you.
