My husband lives in khaki's. He works out and has to order pants that accommodate his muscular rear and quads. He normally wears a 32x30 in most brands. The 'cash' color has a stretch to it and runs smaller, He fit into a 30x30. It seems the different fabrics make a difference in choosing what size, The 'Cash' color, he said felt more like a workout pant with some stretch. He really liked this style and with a pull over top, he looks like a million bucks!

I mistakenly thought Zappos was solely a shoe online outlet...then I found on their site jeans my size 28-29" inseam which are hard to find on other sites.

I bought these for my extremely picky brother and he likes them; says they are comfotable.

Order came a little later than expected, but otherwise just what I expect from Levi's.

Quality jeans, as usual. I prefer Zappos, to purchase Levis, cause even Levis.com doesn't have as wide a selection of sizes. 36x36 ain't that easy to come by, except on Zappos.

I love the cut and unusual color of these jeans which I have trouble describing. These weren't made to be perfect like many other jeans. The material is a bit thinner. Wait, I need more coffee before writing this. I'll say this, I'm a cool 58 and these are my favorite jeans ever.

Just as described. I appreciate that this style comes in a smaller waist size. A good, basic jean for those who don't want all the fancy stuff.

I love these jeans! I ordered the 505s in Stonewash and they did not disappoint. They have that old Levi's color, thickness, and fit that I love. Just ordered a second pair! My only quibble is that 20 years ago or so, Levi's used to last and last. But I bought these jeans to replace two pair of Levi's 505s that I bought about 6 years ago and that already have holes in the crotch and knees (after wearing them maybe 1x a week for 6 years). Not terrible but not as good as they used to be. Isn't that always the way! (p.s. I'm a woman but I like the way these fit better than women's jeans.)

I bought a pair of Levi 505's. The color selection on some Levi's is a bit overwhelming, but I selected the "Cash" color on the 505's. When I pulled these out of the box, I immediately noticed that they were stretchy. The tag revealed that they were 98% cotton, and 2% Elastane. The specs tab for the 505's says that they are 100% cotton, and this description doesn't change based on the "color" selection. However, reviewing the different "colors" on the actual Levi's site, I found that some colors are stretch denim, and some are not. I am returning these to get a non-stretch "color". I don't know if Zappo's can help in the identification of which ones are stretch and which are not, but it's definitely an important decision. For now, I have to cross-reference with the Levi's site to make my decisions.

Levis are all I wear and now that I know Zappos has them and sends them so quickly, it is where I'll always go!

I ordered these jeans for my boyfriend in a 36 inch inseam because he is very tall, around 6' 3 inch or so. He is very thin with a 30 inch or 31 inch waist, so his size of 31x36 is hard to find, but we found it in the black color of these. We would get them in his size in the Silver Fox color if they had that size, so we're waiting for that color to come back in stock. I have never been a fan of Levis myself so I was hesitant to order them because I think they've always looked like grandpa or dad/mom jeans, but luckily they look good on my boyfriend. I accidentally clicked on return in my account but definitely will not be returning them. No complaints except that they aren't made in the US and of eco- friendly ways. I thought I was getting a pair of 100% cotton Levi's 505 jeans, since the color I selected didn't fall in one of the exceptions under the product I formation. But turned out not to be the case. Zappos needs to provide accurate information about the products it sells on its website.

No such thing as exact fit with Levis jeans styles now made in shops in various countries around the world. 505 was always a go to jean but that's all changed. I was always a 32 waist, with Levis new standards and introduction of stretch fabric, the size is now 30 or 31 and still can run too full in the seat. One can't go wrong with Zappos free easy return policy.

Levi's are great when you find a pair that fits right, but unfortunately their sizing is extremely inconsistent. I ordered a pair that was the same size and style I already owned and they fit completely different. Trying a series of the same style and size in the store showed more inconsistencies. It's a shame Levi's has poor quality control standards in my opinion.

This fit much tighter and lower than other color 505 Levis I have purchased. Do they have different sizing for different colors? Kind of frustrating.

Ordered 2 pairs of the same identical size and style of Levi's 505s. 1 pair fit the other was too tight around the thigh.

First off, Zappos customer service rules, the jeans, not so much.... This review is on the black 505's. The seam on the right leg twists so that it runs down the shin. Had this happen on two pairs, it makes them unwearable. The length is also way off, I wear 32 length in other Levis, but with these I am a 30 (which are still a little too long).

Pretty disappointed in these jeans--similar to another reviewer, the last pair of 505's I bought was two years ago. The fabric is much thinner and lighter now, and does not have that nice denim feel. I noticed that these are not 98% cotton and the ones two years ago were 100%, the belt loop and the zipper seam like they are a lighter and cheaper metal. I am going to go to the actual Levi's store near me and see if these are different than what they sell in the store (I really hope not).

I ordered 4 pair. 2 were defective. What's going on here?

Ordered exactly the same size as another pair of 505’s I own and this pair was at least 3” longer. I guess this is why you go to a store for clothing. Return process is very simple.

Awful. Jeans arrived smelling like moth balls or some sort of stinky chemical. Have now washed them twice and they still smell that way. I won’t wear them. Guess their going in the garbage. ?

The order arrived wrapped in sealed plastic. When I opened the plastic the leg of the pants looked like it had been caught in a conveyor belt. Holes and damaged material. It should never have been packaged and shipped the damage covered an area about 6” x 8”. Additionally, the material was not the thick Levi’s material. More like thin kaiki pants. Not worth the money either.

I've bought blue 33 waist and 34 inseam all my life. In black, the waist is a little tighter than in the blue jeans I've always worn. Buying the 34 waist and 34 inseam brought a considerably longer inseam and leg width. I kept the first pair but a second pair that was the same, I just immediately returned.

I gave the low rating because of the inconstant fit of the pants. Ordered a 34" inseam but the inseam was 2" inches shorter --more like a 32" inseam! It's a good thing Zappos offers free returns. Will try to order again. Hopefully, the next pants has the correct length. Very disappointed in Levis' quality control.
