I have this bag in an older version and love it. I'm summarizing the poor design changes here. They make the bag less functional and less attractive, with a smaller capacity. No doubt these are cost-saving measures, though the price has stayed the same. It's a shame when a company messes with a perfectly designed product.
1. The front zipper on outermost compartment is gone. There is a magnetic-closure flap instead, with a narrow top opening. It is bulky and unattractive.
2. The new design is not as long overall nor as deep (front-to-back) in the main compartment. It holds less than my older one and is nearly two-dimensional. I can put gum, chapstick, and my keys inside. That's really about it.
3. Also in that main compartment, one of the zipper pockets has been eliminated. My old Baggallini has zipper pockets on both sides of the main compartment -- facing the front of purse and facing the back when I'm wearing it. I'm guessing it was eliminated because the interior compartment is not as roomy as it was before.
3. The wallet compartment still has two zippers, which is a bonus for us lefties! But the material used to reinforce the card slots and zippered change pocket is not as stiff and sturdy as my older version (which has been abused for more than 5 years).
4. The strap is no longer made of the same material as the bag itself. It's some sort of thinner seat-belt webbing. It looks cheap and is prone to twist.
5. The strap no longer is attached to the purse via swivel clips. (Even the teeny Plaza Mini has the swivel clips and same-material strap.) Straps cannot be removed, there's no remedy for the twisty seatbelt webbing strap, and I no longer can clip my keys to the strap hardware and have them hang securely inside the main compartment.
6. Overall quality of stitching, materials, and construction simply is not as good as my old Everyday Bagg. In fact, that entire front wallet piece is attached in very crooked fashion.

Light as a feather. Will work perfectly on my trip. FYI, this purse is too small for either of my Kindles. Look for the next size up if that is a need. And I love Zappos. I ordered on the 18th and it arrived on the 19th. How do they do it?

Very nice. Thought I would try using a small bag, but it is not going to work. I do like the organization. But I would still have to carry a tote for my iPad, nourishment, bigger items, etc.

Love Baggallini bags - I must own 20 of them. They are a small bag that packs so much stuff. Great for everyday, on vacation and I wear them cross body most of the time, great night clutch also.

I just purchased this purse, and I absolutely love it. It can store everything that you will need for your trip, or just plain shopping. It's a great cross over bag and a great shoulder bag as well. Enjoy!

Excellent choice for a small bag. I wear it cross body and don't even feel it hanging because it is such a lightweight material. I like the wallet in front that has a zipper compartment for coins, credit card holder, a small zip pocket and a few open pockets. The main compartment holds my reading glasses, chapstick, mini hand lotion, mini hand sanitizer, granola bar, contact case, pill case, powder compact. It also has a pen holder that I use for my lipstick. The back open pocket holds my iPhone 6 which I put an OtterBox defender on. There is a magnetic closure that still works even with my phone. Finally, there is a small exterior pocket on the front where I put my car keys and some tissues. I use this as an every day purse now!

I bought this bagg to take to Disney World and it was perfect. Small yet big enough to hold everything I needed and very lightweight. It was also waterproof and dried quickly after Splash Mountain!

Just received my new Everyday Baggallini. What a great purse! It is better than the description. And, it arrived exactly when I was told it. The purse has many compartments and is easy to use and organize! Thank you Zappos! I'm making another purse order today.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I bought this in the cheetah print for an upcoming trip to Costa Rica. I wanted a bag small enough to allow freedom of movement yet big enough for the basics like a few credit cards, keys, some cash, a place for my phone, sunglasses and sunscreen plus a few other odds and ends. This bag holds all of that comfortably without bulging at the seams. The print is stylish so I will be able to use it for dinner. It fits perfectly under my arm if I shorten the strap or I can wear it cross body. It is exactly what I was looking for.

Love, love, love this bagg. It is lightweight, very organized, and low profile. The main compartment holds my eyeglass case, keys, and a few other small items. I'm looking at this bagg in other colors for the summer. The cheetah print is very understated and classy! If you are on the fence, buy it.

Beautiful smallish everyday bag! Love the color/pattern (Safari print in pewter). I'm tickled to have polka dots in a non cutesy way. So many compartments almost everything in my purse has it's own private space. No digging around thru masses of stuff to find something. This is so lightweight I almost forgot I was carrying it....except I had to keep looking at it. What a little treasure. I've posted photos on FaceBook and have recommended it to several people already. Probably my favorite bag ever. As soon as I can afford it I plan to get a bigger one that I can use to carry my sketch book, pencils, pens and misc. art supplies as well as my normal items.

Wanting to get away from bigger bags, I tried this. Can fit a ton of stuff in here, surprisingly. Haven't used a regular purse in over a year now. Keeps your hands free, you don't have to mess w/a bag on your elbow or have it sliding off your shoulder when you're carrying groceries or browsing racks while shopping. Much easier to hold the kids' hands in crowded places too, not having a bag sliding all over.

I love this purse so much that I bought a second one. The bag is so light and the straps are comfortable and adjustable for a longer torso. I got the green (great for summer) and now the leopard (which is a great neutral!) It is a smaller purse but has great organization and holds a lot (well for a small bag). I also have the Baggallini Valencia for when I need a larger bag. I have gotten many compliments on both styles of bags. I am now planning to get the everyday bagg in black.

Disappointed in the Baggallini Everyday Bagg. Cheap looking, small compartment which was 'advertised' to 'hold' an iPhone. Pocket is way to small. This was my first experience with Baggallini.

So disappointing. Baggallini has ruined a good thing. The photo of this bag showed it was of the old style which I why I ordered it here, but beware, Zappos is apparently selling the new version with the old photos.
Baggallini changed the strap material and took away the removable hardware so now it's fixed in place making it harder to use as a stash-n-carry in a tote or backpack. They have done with the a number of styles and it's such a loss.
And, the lining has changed in many styles - instead of being an easily cleaned nylon it's some kind of poly-something that my stuff sticks to and will totally hold dirt/stains. I'm disappointed Baggallini.

I found this bag as a closeout (I guess the color? Because your site isn't carrying it) and it holds all of my essentials but keeps me from stuffing my bag with things I don't need.

Loved the bag, but what really thrilled me was how fast it was shipped. I broke the zipper on my old Baggallini small bag and was leaving town for a wedding. I got the purse in 2 days! In time for me to take it along.

Love this bag...the pattern, color, size and convenience. I wish that by some miracle there could be room for my sunglasses but it is very snug. I consider brown and black zebra to be a neutral, and it goes with everything for running errands around town.

This is a really nice bag with a few flaws. First, I agree with other reviewers who are longtime Baggallini customers that Baggallini has gone downhill. I don't know if it is cost-cutting or chasing the fast-fashion market or both, but Baggallini seems to be moving away from its roots that brought it so many devoted fans in the first place: making high quality, very practical bags that are lightweight, durable, and have great organizational features, all while being stylish and attractive. It seems in recent years they have moved toward more flashy patterns and gaudy gold hardware, while cutting quality and paying less attention to functionality. Baggallini has been my go to for years for both purses and tote bags, but recently I have started to research other brands.
Baggallini, ARE YOU LISTENING? I for one would rather pay a little more, if necessary, to ensure the high quality bags I had come to expect.
Re this bag in particular: Pluses: It is very cute, generally a nice size for a crossbody (small but big enough to carry sunglasses, my bottom line criteria), and has a good selection of pockets and other organization features, such as room for cards, cash, and change. Minuses: The biggest one is the bag is not deep enough. As others have mentioned, adding another half inch to the depth would make a world of difference. As it is, some of the pockets, flaps etc are not really usable, or only marginally usable, because they each compete for the same space, essentially. If you completely fill the main compartment, it will bulge out so much that the bag flap and the zipper pocket inside the main compartment essentially become unusable. Also, the front flap pocket has so little depth that I could not even fit a car key fob in there without it creating a bulge on the front of the purse. So I am only going to use that pocket for very thin things like a few receipts or business cards.
Baggallini should take a look at how this purse functions when full and add the 1/2" or so depth needed to make all the pockets usable. It would not change the look or weight of the purse much but would make a big difference in terms of functionality.
That being said, here is what I was able to put in the purse without it feeling overloaded: In the front pocket: 10 cards, bills, change, and a few receipts in the zipper pocket. In the main compartment: 2 pens, keys, lip gloss, a small (purse size) brush, a tube of electrolyte tablets, a Samsung Galaxy 7 phone, and sunglasses in a soft case. In the back flop: my car key fob. In the front flap: a few business cards (not in a card - this flap is super shallow).
The color I ordered, Portobello, is nice and will go with everything. If I decide a like the bag enough, I will probably get another one in black for winter.

My wife has used one of these daily for quite a few years and has been very happy with it but it's starting to show its age. This latest version has definitely been cheapened (slightly smaller, lower quality zippers, looser stitching, one less zipped sub-compartment, lower quality strap, and possibly more). It's disappointing but probably still functional. Her iPhone 5S still fits easily in the side pocket (which now has a flap instead of the more secure zipper). It's always disheartening when a company chooses cheaper production over a better product.

I have had two of these bags, the first I received as a gift and absolutely loved it! I loved it's size, durability, and look. It was perfect for all of my needs. I replaced it last year and was initially disappointed by the difference in design but continued to be hopeful that I would love it as much as the first. I have found this bag to be not nearly as well made. Zippers have broken, or separated from the pockets. Things I once carried comfortably in this bag no longer fit.

I have been a BIG Fan of this handbag for many years. HOWEVER...Why did Baggallini change the style? I hate the new scoop zipper design. There is less space in that compartment and in the back pocket because of it. The new style strap is so slippery, the handbag slips off my shoulder and sways too much when wearing as a crossbody. I hope that Baggallini sees this and goes back to the previous design. It was a classic. Come to think of it, why did they feel the need to change perfection? I hope that Baggallini sees this review.

Seems to be really good quallity but doesn't have as much space as I would expect for its size. Front flap pocket is almost useless when the rest of the purse is full.

I loved the old Everyday bag; it was a 5 star. It would have been perfect if it were larger. So I ordered another. When I got it the style had changed. It shrunk. The new flap pocket holds less than the old style. The pockets are different. I can't cram as much stuff in.
Can you please make this bigger? It would be perfect if it were larger. even with the new style.

I LOVE the old design. It was the perfect size, every pocket was easy to access and had enough room, the swivel straps worked well no matter how you used the purse. PLEASE bring back the old design!!
In the new design, the overall purse interior is smaller, the flap sticks up if you put anything inside its compartment, it's hard to access the flap compartment (where I used to carry essentials but can't anymore) and the straps do not work as flexibly as the swivel straps from the older design.I really need the extra room in order to put a brush in this purse.
