I bought these for my husband. He has wide feet that are hard to fit. These fit out of the box. And his back readjusted (he was loath to give up an old pair that were worn down but fit).

I have fractured bones in both feet. And wear compression socks. These shoes are the best I have purchased so far.

I am a retired professional chef and have spent many years standing on my feet and have suffered with foot pain and back pain.I wear a size 15, 4E and this is the only shoe I have found that fits my foot properly. This is the third pair I have purchased in this style. I go to the gym every day and I have found this shoe makes it much easier to walk on the treadmill compared to a traditional tennis shoe. Also, there is a remarkable improvement in my back pain and I contribute this to the overall construction of this shoe. These shoes are good-looking, comfortable, light and you actually feel like you're walking on air, no kidding! I know that I highly recommend these shoes and I will continue to purchase them from Zappos.

I have worn NB 620 series cross trainers for years but got tired of the heavy weight and hot weather sweating. The 928s are good looking and the mesh fabric is a great change from the leather/synthetic uppers on the cross trainers. A very solid shoe and felt great right out of the box.

These are the only shoes I can find that fits me perfectly that I can wear all year round and be thrilled to have them. I bought two pairs last Fall. The first pair bit the dust last week. They were used in rain and snow, used for snow blowing and daily walks in the woods. The upper/lower section on the inside front split and I was not able to glue them back. I am disappointed that they only lasted six months versus other shoes that I have had for many years. But, these have been the most comfortable. Thankfully, I had purchased a second pair and will be buying another from Amazon.

My husband and I wish the New Balance corporation would QUIT messing around with shoes that work. We both have used the previous models of this shoe (925's through 927's). I had to quit using them on the third change. Now, my husband has to stop using them. Why can't they just leave well enough alone? AGH!

Exactly as specified in description. Service was fast. Couldn't ask for any more. Previously had to return and process went very smoothly with no charge. Can't ask for much more.

Bought these as a gift for my son. He works on his feet , nights and they have held up well, well cushioned and they look as good as when he started wearing them.

I purchased these shoes for my Dad who was having intense heel pain for a week or so. He stayed off his feet for a little while and when they started feeling better, he began to walk around more and in these shoes. The day he received them he walked all over town and to the post office. He said he doesn't have heel pain anymore and that these shoes are very comfortable. I think giving these shoes to him has made him exercise and go for walks more often. I'm very pleased with this purchase (I'm also an avid New Balance fan of the old 1011MC and 1140 for stability and over pronation).

This is a good quality shoe which has a relatively stiff sole, providing good walking stability and reducing the pressure on the ball of the foot at the end of the stride. When I took the shoe to have a custom orthotic fitted to the shoe, his comment was, "Wow, this is a high-end shoe!"

My husband has a very wide foot and this is the only brand of sneakers he can wear. He's very glad Zappos carries this shoe!

I bought my Dad a pair of 928's recommended by his podiatrist a couple months before he passed...he never wore the shoe but after paying the high price I wasn't going to sell 'em at a yard sale for peanuts, so I wore 'em at work...and work I do...as a FedEx Express courier, I run my you know what off every day to deliver exemplary service to all our customers...these shoes have lasted me longer than any other shoe and are very comfortable! I highly recommend them! Maybe the detractors ought to try my job and then comment on this superior shoe!

This shoe is considerably narrower than the previous 927, which is considerably better for my narrow feet. I bought 5 pair to avoid the usual habit of NB to remake their shoes in different fits.

Third pair of these "900" shoes. They are very comfortable and I have considered ordering a pair of brown ones but they are costly.

Extremely comfortable casual shoe that lasts forever!

I gave these shoes to my father for Christmas. He has worn New Balance for a long time. This was a new style. He has been wearing them since he opened his gift and likes them very much. Great fit. Great comfort. My dad is 94. He deserves the best! And I feel that is what I gave him for Christmas.

My husband wanted a good walking shoe for noon time walking in the San Francisco neighborhood he works in. Got him these for Christmas, and he loves them. They are very comfortable, and look good enough to wear with his business attire.

Great shoe. I have plantar faciitis in my left foot and the shoe immediately helped me. I now have almost no pain when I walk. The shoe provides great arch support and eliminates pronation. You pay a lot for a pair of these shoes but it is well worth the money. Zappos service was also excellent. My shoes came in just a few days.

I wasn't sure about these because I had the previous version; however, they provide great support, and my feet did not get tired wearing them all day without breaking them in. I'm glad I decided to give them a shot!

Pricey, but well worth it. I had developed pains in my lower leg (shin splints), and the great support of the graphite roll bar cured the condition. A wonderfully supportive and comfortable shoe makes walking a pleasure. Roomy toebox.

When I first put them on they felt a little narrower than most 4E's that I've worn from New Balance. All I had to do was loosen up the laces and they now they feel pretty good. Very comfortable shoes. Nice and snug. Will definitely purchase these shoes again in the future. I want to buy another pair in black (I bought the brown ones) right now, but it's a little more expensive than I normally buy.

I ordered half a size bigger after reading some comments and had to exchange it back to regular 11, so I would say it's true to size! I gave 1 star for style, because I personally do not like the look of these shoes. But my husband loved them! They are made for comfort and hard work! They are like heavy duty trucks and not terribly fashionable but certainly functional to do lots of walking! Fast to put on, easy to clean and really comfortable!

My husband's foot was swollen because of a blood clot, and these are the only shoes I have found that fit.

These shoes offer great support and comfort. I'm a big guy 6'5+", 330lb and need all the support I can get. I have long narrow feet with low arches and have trouble finding shoes that fit. I ordered both 14 and 15 sizes because many sports shoes run a bit small and these do. My last pair of New Balance MK706's also ran about 1/2 size small. These shoes have much more support than the MK706's ever did while remaining fairly light and very comfortable. Thanks New Balance for making shoes to cover the entire size spectrum. Also, thanks to Zappos for the quick, fair, and accurate service.
