I purchased these in the dark brown, and they are probably my favorite pair of dress shoes. They are extremely comfortable and the coloration is beautiful, and as you wear them and break them in, the color becomes better as the leather conforms to your foot. The variations are a darker brown at the toe, and then a slight blend into a lighter brown, almost cognac-like color at points, and they look great with tan, brown, blue, and even a light grey (slacks/suit). The soles at the tip are prone to erosion a little, but if you purchase these, you have an awesome and versatile pair of shoes that people will inevitably notice because they really are eye-catching. I've had several people ask what kind of shoe it is - the shoe generates compliments. You cannot go wrong with this one. One piece of advice is to purchase a good set of shoe trees to put into them because this Magnanni shoe is somewhat delicate and a good cedar insert will get rid of perspiration and retain the great shape of the shoe. I actually ordered my size (11.5) despite the warnings and they fit perfectly. Had I gone even a half-size smaller they would not have fit me.

As usual, immediate delivery, and shoes looking better than the photo. I have purchased a number of pairs from Zappos and returned an equal number, never an issue. This pair runs true to length, slightly narrow for my feet, but three days in my shoe trees stretched them perfectly. These are gorgeous shoes, I will always go back to Zappos.

These are fantastic. Brilliant quality and good enough comfort for new shoes that always need to be broken in. The color is great and they get plenty of looks and compliments. Huge fan of Magnanni shoes and these are up there in my collection.

Ordered these on the 24th of December, Zappos delivered on the 26th. Phenomenal service and operation. This is what keeps me coming back. The color is a darker brown than the reddish color shown in the pictures. The toe box is quite long. Fits pretty well and the style is excellent. For me, at least, it seems slightly larger than my true size (compared to the other Magnanni's I own).

I have more than 10 pairs of Magnanni shoes of various styles and colors and they are exceptional in every way. Each pair is stylish, beautifully crafted leather and incredibly comfortable. With minimal maintenance they will last for years. Like others that have commented, I get compliments on these shoes quite often. My Magnanni shoes are the best dress shoes I've ever owned and I will continue to add to my collection.

Beautiful shoe! My husband loves it. He gets compliments on it all the time. The Magnanni fit is excellent because the front portion is wide enough for the foot to be comfortable, before narrowing to a fashionably pointed toe. Some of the other high end brands are narrow all the way through, which can make for some very uncomfortable toes!

These are great looking shoes and comfortable from the first time I put them on. Take the advice and get a half size smaller than your usual size.

Are you kidding me??? I ordered five pairs of shoes on Labor Day afternoon and they were at my door the next afternoon. Zappos does it again. No surprises with Magnanni. This is my fifth pair. Premium leather, comfort and styling. They are worth every penny. A beautiful pair of shoes. Classic wingtip with very slightly tapered toe. Fit like a glove right out of the box... as always!

These are my favorite shoe I own. They have a great line (not too wide or narrow). They fit true to size and broke in very nicely. I own a variety of other nice shoes from Donald Pliner to Ferragamo and these top them all. I still believe lace up shoes should have a leather sole. Will buy another pair in black.

Great shoes, very nice and deep brown color, box is beautiful. design details are very classy looking. My husband ordered half size up for all dress shoes.

The mid-brown Sergio is my favorite dress shoe, due to head over heels attraction to the color and to Magnanni's incredible fit to my feet. The color is darker than the photo, and very subtle. I put Topys on these because I was concerned about the delicate midsole/sole getting nipped by walks on concrete - especially with the long toe, the sole tends to chisel upward easily at the toe tip. Out of all three of my Magnanni's, the mid-brown is my favorite color - with reddish hues and Magnanni's delicate construction, I am in awe. They are not the compliment-grabbers the cognac color is, but it's 10x as complex, easier to pair with other colors, and looks more reserved. The dark tones hide the complex stitching somewhat, and makes the shoe less showy which I like tremendously.

Good shoe, great construction, quality leather. Runs a bit large 1/2 -1 size. I had a long break in period and the did hurt for a while. Other than that great shoe.
