I really like this! When I first put it on, I was confused by the waist...is it a drop waist? What is happening? But I pulled it up and bloused it just a little bit, and it's super flattering. I don't care for tight clothes, and this is a nice skimming fabric. I'm 5'3, 135lbs., and 36B, and I got the small. The armholes fit well, and the length is perfect. Recommended!

Great dress, especially for hot, muggy weather. It's VERY casual - it almost feels like a beach coverup. In my casual office, I feel slightly underdressed, but am going to do what a previous reviewer suggested and look for a chain belt to dress it up. A cardigan would also work. A note about size - when I ordered, they didn't have a medium in stock, so I took a chance on the small. I would describe my size as a 6-8 (I'm 5-7, 135 pounds, carry my weight more in my midsection), so thought the 4-6 might be too small. It is not. A medium would have been too big. The top is blousy (which camoflages my muffin top) and the striped material helps disguise any lumps and bumps in the backside.

Great little dress. I added a chain belt and a sandals and it was comfortable and flattering. I normally wear an 8/10 but bought the larger size in this. It fit perfectly. I'm mid forties, 5'2 and right now have that apple body shape. The dress hid some flaws and I see it being my summer go to for everything from work to play.

So comfortable. I wish it came in more colors so I could order more!

This is definitely a dress designed for comfort rather than style or fit. I'm a solid size 10 (I ordered the MD), and it fits perfectly on the top (36C), but the waist almost sags, even with an elastic band. I can pull it up higher, but the slightly slouched look as it's pictured above definitely suits the style of the dress. I almost think the SM would have fit better around the waist, but I'm fairly broad shouldered, so the top part would have been too tight. Someone with a bit more pear shape might fit both the top and bottom a little better. It is quite soft and I love how I can really move in it; I ordered the raspberry, and the color is bright & cheery (as pictured). It'll travel well and feel great when I come in from the beach and want something soft to wear.

I have this dress in the gray/white stripe (XS) and love it. Ordered the same one in Indian Teal in XS. It's completely different. At least 2 inches shorter than the striped dress and narrower. When you hold the two dresses up together, you can see how the Teal one is not at all the same dimensions, even though they are both XS. Returning the Teal dress, very disappointing.

This is truly the best casual dress I've bought in a long time! The material is high quality and the fit is amazing. You can dress it up or down. I've worn it with heels and plan to wear it with some cute Pumas this weekend for a golf tournament. I'm 5' 9" and typically a size 8. I ordered the large because I have a big chest and it fits perfect - which for me, is not too tight around the middle, but definitely not loose. I loved it so much, I bought another color!

I love this dress! This is my go-to dress for summer. It is comfortable, easy to wear and super cute. Soft fabric, well cut style. I bought a L (12) and it fits great. Bra straps are covered, not too short, drop waist is flattering.

I bought this to wear as a beach cover-up as I wanted something less flimsy than the usual choices. It's so nice that I've been wearing it as a dress! I'm 5'8" and the length is good -- well above my knee, but not indecently so for someone in their 50's. The fabric is heavy cotton, but it isn't hot. It just falls nicely.

This is a really great casual go-to dress for summer. I saw another review that said it was far too casual but I purchased this in the black and did not find it to be that way. Yes, you could definitely dress it up more with a belt and maybe the pockets made them feel it was too casual but the material is nice and smooth, not simply like a cotton tee-shirt dress or anything. For reference I am just shy of 5'3" and 110lbs and the xs fit me perfectly. It was not baggy at the middle, as these styles can sometimes lead one to look pouchy in the stomach. This one does not, but can do some hiding. I also think it might help to not have too big of a chest (I am a 34B) based on the cut. Plus, the length sits on me where it does on the model, about 2 inches above the knee. Wish they had more colors to choose from!

Really cute. I bought to wear as a swimsuit cover-up. Perfect. I am a size 12, and the fit is great.

I LOVE this dress! I wasn't sure if it would be flattering on my middle-aged apple-type figure, but it really is! Hides all the, uh, lumps and bumps! The M (8-10) fits perfectly, which is a surprise as I'm a solid 10, usually a large. The ONLY thing I don't love is that it's maybe 2-3 inches shorter than I'd prefer, but my legs are my best feature so I'm keeping it.

Great lightweight, casual dress. Flattering style. It doesn't emphasize the bust or the belly (but it is mid-thigh so shows plenty of leg). I actually bought this dress for myself for the summer, but it looked so good on my daughter that I have to purchase a second one! The only downside is that the elastic is a tiny bit loose. If it ever gets too loose, a skinny belt will resolve it.

Very cute dress and very comfortable. I am a size 8 and ordered the medium. The elastic band is a little too loose and slips down. I wish it had an adjustable tie on it. Other than that, really nice dress for summer.

The carve meadow dress has been my "go to" dress this summer. I have washed it once and find the elastic on the waistband is stretching some, but overall it still fits well and is a good length for summer. I normally wear a size 8 and found the small fit better than the medium I also tried out.

Dress is very cute. Ordered the berry/white. I'm 5'8", 135 lbs., 34 DDD. I got the medium and it fit great in the chest and arms but was too baggy in the waist so I'm returning. They're all sold out of smalls.

I really wanted to love this dress! The fabric is wonderfully soft, but the fit is not for my body type. I'm 5'8" with a very long torso and 'pear shaped'. I tried both the small and medium; the waist was way too big in each size, but the hips and tush were quite snug.

Super comfortable...but not all that flattering if you've got a smaller frame. Since it's got a LOT of fabric around the torso area, it might be good for people who want to cover a lot of mid-section. On me, it just adds a lot of extra bulge around the middle.

The dress is cute, but runs really big. I ordered an extra small and had to send it back. I was so sad.
