I love hook and loop closures because they make it easy to adjust for my high instep and hammer toe. However, the sizing on Wolky's shoes is odd. I ordered 2 different Wolky sandals in the same size and this one was way too wide and long and the other was too narrow and rubbed at the toe. Both are going back. Thanks Zappos for making returns easy!

These are some of the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned! I have sore arthritic feet and need a supportive shoe. These fit the bill perfectly! I am not diabetic, but these would be great shoes for people who have diabetes and need a shoe with no pressure points. The sandal is also cute to be a walking shoe. They are a little large for the size I ordered, but I was afraid that the next size down would be a little too short. I liked them so much that I ordered the red one, too! I'll definitely consider Wolky the next time I need a sandal. I marked the half-size larger on the length and width but is is not quite that. The three adjustable straps took care of my needs for the fitting.

These sandals are great for people with problem feet. They are artsy-stylish. Adjustable in all directions. Order a half size smaller. A great walking sandal.

I just opened my Wolky Leifs, strapped them on, and immediately came to the computer to write a review. I bought a pair of Wolky Serenity thongs nearly 6 years ago and the quality, durability, and flexibility of the leather with velcro sizing brought me back to look for a more comfortable pair of Wolky's for walking. The Leif was just the style I was hoping for and I have to say they exceeded my expectations. Comfortable on my feet as soon as they were on. Lightweight, the red leather is a pretty, muted shade, and the three adjustment points will guarantee these shoes always provide just the right snugness and support. Those loving the comfort of Birkenstocks will find Wolky's an (arguably) more stylish alternative. Also, props to Zappos once again. I received these shoes 1 day after ordering them.

I LOVE these sandals! I have a wide foot, bunions and arthritis, and the Leif accommodates all these imperfections with ease. I find the arch support to be excellent; there could perhaps be more cushioning, but overall this is a very comfortable sandal. The Velcro allows adjustments so the upper hugs my foot securely, and the one diagonal strap visually breaks up the width of my foot. I have two pairs so far (Cafe and Violet Gray) and wonder if I might just need the Red as well.

I bought these because I have a big arthritis problem in my right foot. These really work because every single part across the top i adjustable and the footbed supports my foot where it needs it. I recommend them. They are a true red color and very well made. I will have them for years.

I normally wear size 8, I ordered the 7½-8 and it is a little long there is some space in the heal area however, not enough that I would order a smaller size. The footbed is somewhat odd, it seems short in the toe area and longer in the heel not enough to make me return them, though! The contours of the footbed are great, it has nice arch support. It is little on the firm side, not like the Naot footbed that is so soft and squishy. I do love the way the shoes looks on my feet, I got the teal color and it is just beautiful, nice contrast with several different colors of skinny jeans. This is my first pair of this particular brand and I would purchase others in the future from Wolky.

Love Wolky sandals; however, this style does run big! Love Zappos and no charge return policy!!! It's the main reason I switched from 6pm!! Last return cost me 50% of the product I was returning!!! Not good! Great service and awesome prices and selection with Zappos!

I love these shoes! This is the second pair of Wolkys that I have had and the quality is outstanding! I am hard to fit -- a 11B or 10D or somewhere in between and Wolkys are always a winner! Worth the money!

I have hard-to-fit feet, with a wide ball area and narrow heel, and a longer second toe. With the three adjustment straps, I was able to get a custom fit. They are extremely comfortable and the color is surprisingly neutral, more gray than violet. I almost always have to wear a wide width, and these felt almost too wide in a medium width. The length was fine. This may be my new favorite brand. Very stylish looking and very soft leather.

I liked these shoes a lot and they are really a classy style. They are a great light red color I have a bunion and a high instep and the slightly higher heel and shape of the sole made the Pichu more comfortable for me.

This is my second pair of Wolky Leif sandals. The footbed really supports my feet well and I like the velcro on the straps as they make adjusting the width easy. The sewing and materials used in this shoe is of excellent quality -- long-wearing. Sometimes I wear them with heavy compression socks and sometimes with no socks at all.

Cute shoe - but runs wide and large. The red was duller and grayer than it seems in the picture. I had to return these and will try a smaller size.

What a cute shoe. Unfortunately, I have to return it because the top strap goes across an old ankle injury and causes pain. Very comfortable foot bed though and gosh I wish these had worked.

Shoe was way, way to large I ordered a 38...6.5/7. The shoe had to be an 9. Definitely miss marked. The shoe is a muddled red not a true red. Shoe is Cute in the picture but not so much on feet.

Wonderful fit! These sandals with all the adjusting straps are perfect for my narrow feet! Really, really comfy. The only drawback is that the rich red color shown is actually a dark brick color.

These are really cute and comfortable sandals. I usually wear orthotics since my feet are so flat and my ankles sag in. The insole in this sandal is not removable so you can't wear orthotics with them. Usually that means I send the shoes back, but these are so well made that I can go a few hours before my feet start to hurt. These sandals look cute with jeans, capris, shorts, and skirts.

I usually wear an 8...I bought a 39 in this shoe which is a 7.5-8 and the size was perfect. Am returning it, however, because the front straps rub on my toes (hammer toes). A cute shoe...adjustable 3 ways...would be great but for my problem toes.

This is an excellent comfort shoe! I have knee and ankle issues, and need a supportive shoe. This shoe gives me great support. It does run a little wide, but tightening the straps remedies that. Also, I have to speak to the excellent customer service I received from Zappos. I am a customer for life!

Runs big. Very comfortable. Velcro strips can scratch. But can be easily trimmed. Great support.

I bought a pair of Wolky sandals at The Berkeley Walking Store in 2007, and they've held up so well and have been so comfortable (terrific arch support, roomy toe area, made very well) that I decided to buy a second pair. I have been wearing the Leif's regularly since purchasing them about a month ago. I took them to Bonnaroo, and they held up great. The straps only bit into my heels after walking in them for 24 hours straight, but when I alternated them with the other Wolky's I have, I had no problems. The strap marks on my heels faded quickly, too, and I'm shocked that I have no blisters or any other marks (besides some odd suntan lines) on my feet after walking for four days straight. The only thing I kind of don't like about the Leif's is that their soles look so much like Birkenstock's. Other than that, they're great! Well worth the price.

This shoe was huge. I have two other pairs of Wolky's in size 38, but this runs very long and wide.

My mom has two pairs of these shoes, and after seeing how much she loved hers, I decided to get a pair for myself. These shoes are super comfortable, high quality walking shoes. I can go all day in them and my feet are not hurting. They do seem to run big, so I bought a 40, which is an 8.5 to 9 US. I generally wear a 9 to 9.5, but my mother has a 41 and those were too big. I would definitely recommend getting the smaller size if you think you are between sizes.
