So I generally like a big tote with lots of pockets. This made a nice compromise between huge (where I carry too much) and practical. It has a big pocket for my iPad and one for my Kindle. Only issue is the straps are a little slippy on the shoulder. I got the olive and the dark blue.

I saw this bag and totally fell in love. It does not disappoint! It is super functional, I love the material - really comfortable. The color I got is also great because it doesn't show dirt. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it already, and I especially love responding that it's made with recycled plastic bottles.

I use this bag exclusively for work. The Gatitote bag is designed very well for this purpose because it has many exterior pockets that allow for easy access to important items (keys, ID badges, phone, or whatever you need quick and frequent access to) without opening the main compartment. Many of the other bags I've had either lack organization or have a bunch of pockets on the inside. In that setup, I will generally take the easy way out and throw all my keys, etc, haphazardly into the main compartment because, sometimes, the extra 3 seconds it takes to negotiate the pocket inside the bag is just not worth it. This bag is great, though, because all of the important items can stay neatly compartmentalized on the external aspect of the bag with a minimum of effort. It is spacious but not cavernous. I can fit a small cosmetic bag, pen case, wallet, iPad, and thin books in the main compartment with a bit of room to spare. Plus, there is room in the outside pockets. The only negative thing is the tote straps. Personally, I find a single strap to be more comfortable when lugging a bag around. It would have been nice to have an option for one strap. But the overall design of the bag otherwise more than makes up for that minor inconvenience.

Incredibly fast shipping. Terrific bag. I had been looking for a bag with an outside pocket for a small bottle of water and large enough to hold my iPad as well as the contents of my purse. This fills the bill. I got the purple color. I also like that the lining is a lighter color, as it is easier to find things down inside.

This bag is the best! I get complements on it everywhere I go. The pockets make it so easy to figure out where everything should go. And it's very comfortable to carry. I regularly lug around my computer books and a water bottle, and it's still comfortable to carry and fits all easily.

I love it! I do not even need a wallet now. It has lots of compartments. The color goes with everything.

I don't even know where to begin. This bag holds everything I need on a daily basis, plus some baby essentials for my 1 year old. This tote is stylish, durable, and the organizational pockets and features are fantastic. I love being able to wipe it clean, and it's water-resistant, so carrying it through the rain won't ruin it! I use the mp3 player slip pocket for my phone, which works great! The only thing that I have no use for is the metro card pocket on the bottom of the bag, because I live in a rural area. I bought the Scarlet color, and it's beautiful. A little darker in person than my computer monitor was showing, but I love it anyway!

This bag came with me on a recent vacation. I searched high and low for a bag with a zippered top for security. It also has outside zipper pockets on the front and back that came in handy for boarding passes, train tickets, etc. A small bottle of water will fit in the front pockets as well. This bag has lots of clever features inside and out and will be my go-to travel bag in the future. My only suggestion would be to pad the shoulder straps -- after carrying the bag all day, it would have been a bit easier on the shoulders! The fact that it's made of recycled products is just a bonus.

Received it this week - debated on spending this much $$ on a nylon tote. Still deciding if I am going to return it or not. Overall,m giving it 4 stars. - I think w 2 small tweaks it would be the best ever and well deserving of 5+ stars! That being said, for my purposes ( carry on aircraft) its a bit too small... about 2 inches smaller in width than I would like, and I would prefer to have the pass through pocket ( available on other styles) which allows you to hook over luggage handle. Its really lightweight and colors are great. double straps are well made and long enough to throw over your shoulder even when you are wearing a bulky jacket or sweater. The outside phone pocket with the hole for your ear buds is clever and very useful. This would be great bag for everyday running around town, but for my purpose its a just bit too small. SO most likely it will be returned, unless I can absolutely not find anything else. Love Zappos tho!

I have the Gatitote in platinum and lavender and I love it! I need a bag that can handle a 32oz water bottle, a book, umbrella, and a spare item of clothing, and this fits the bill. I get many compliments on the bag. My only disappointment is that the main zipper broke after only a few months.

I like this bag very much. Good for shopping and carrying a notebook for chorus. Casual, I find myself using my Longchamps more. Good organization.

This bag is great for vacation. I used it in Disney World, and it held my souvenirs and a light sweater, a bottle of water. Everything for the day, fit in this bag. It is not the most beautiful bag I've ever seen, but it takes a beating. It was a good purse for the airplane too, held my devices and all.

Great bag. Roomy and sturdy. Front pockets are right size for sunglasses or phone. I use it for work but probably better for more casual use. I just wanted to not worry about dragging a bag on the train during commuting and it's got enough style I think it works.

This is potentially the greatest bag ever known to mankind, but it is just not exactly there. For one thing, its slightly too small. 2 more inches around and it would be Mosey's gift to woman kind. It has all the right pockets and bells and whistles, but it isn't quite roomy enough to carry all that needs to be carried (including a small laptop). One other gal said the styling reminds her of a diaper bag, and I kind of agree. It kind of has the look and feel of those lands end diaper bags of the late 90's, which were AWESOME. I don't mind that as much as I just need a slightly larger bag that is identical to this one in every other way. ALSO, I bought the midnight color thinking it was black, and was surprised to find it navy. Sad face. How about naming it midnight blue just to be clear. I will be returning mine only because its not quite big enough. I'm hoping to find something EXACTLY like this with a bit more room. Its just too tight. That said, for someone who does not travel with a laptop (mine is tiny, 15 inch) this might be fine. Its that extra requirement that doesn't work for me on this. (And the next size up on Mosey isn't the right configuration. What I really want is something precisely like the Gatitote, but 2 inches taller X 2 inches wider). Thank you for carrying this great brand. I'm a huge fan and I hope they expand their line. One last comment, on a styling note I'd like the quilted fabric to be all around, vs partial quilted partial flat. Or one side all quilted, one side all flat fabric. I don't care for the mixing of quilted and flat, at least on this one design. It would look more simple and stylish and a little more high end (like a Kenneth Cole knock off of a Coach bag -- LOL!) In all seriousness the bag is a functional masterpiece, just looking for slightly more stylish and a nudge more roomy.

Great bag, although color is misleading in picture . . . it is more of a burgundy than a shimmery scarlet in the picture . . . disappointed with that aspect actually.

This is a fantastic bag. I get tons of compliments on it and I'm enjoying the bag itself immensely. So functional. I've never had a better bag in terms of pockets, pocket placement, etc. Lots to love here. Just 4 stars because Zappos is overpriced and that irritates me. But the bag itself is awesome. And extra cool because of all the recycled material and no nickel or lead, etc in the metal pieces.

Love this bag, it is great for organizing and keeping your phone and keys in handy pockets on the outside of the bag, which is great. I use the sunglass holder all the time, and the bag is nice and light. My complaint is with the straps- they are so light and "slippery" the bag slides right off your shoulder. For the money, I wish they would have made the straps a little heavier with a non-slip pad. I am looking for something I can sew on that won't look riduculous. Other than that, it is a great bag!

The features and quality of this bag are outstanding. It just doesn't have enough girth. If you put even just a few items in the outside pockets, rather than expanding outward, less space is available in the main compartment. I prefer everything I need for my workday to fit in my bag. With this one, I have to carry my lunch separately. I find myself using other bags. Disappointed, because it's beautiful.

I can't help it but I can't stop thinking that it looks like a diaper bag! It is too big for me. Its functions are impressive but as I look around at moms with babies, it looks like a diaper bag. It's got to go back.

I bought this bag because of its style and light weightedness. I hate this bag and will never buy another one from Mosey. The shoulder straps are so cheap that they fall off all my clothing (including wool and cashmere). If it was cross body it might work. This is very expensive for junk.
