I was looking for a no-frills, athletic cut bikini so I figured I would order this without knowing how it fit. I trust TYR brand in their quality, but wasn't sure about fit. I'm 5'10, weigh 145-150lbs, 36B-28-37, muscular build and wear a 6 in normal clothes and I selected a medium and it fits perfectly. The bottoms offer full coverage with no slipping and the top fits like a cami sports bra; the back crisscrossing is neat too. I would say that if you are a C cup or larger, the top may not be comfortable for you as it does flatten everything. So the top is perfect for ladies who have a smaller bust. Very flattering swimsuit, especially if you are athletic and can't stand string bikinis. Honestly, I would consider lap swimming in this and it will definitely be used to go kayaking. I ordered the blue/lime green color and it looks great against tanned skin. Hope this review helps.

I got this bathing suit last year in black and lime green and I loved it. Not only did it look semi-fashionable on the beach and in the pool but it stayed in place with swimming and playing with 2 little ones. I have a small top half and an athletic lower half.

This swimsuit is so cute. I received it and everything was great except the top (for me). I thought maybe it would fit but I am 34DD and there was no way! It is a great compression top for size B and below. I would have kept it otherwise!

Completely flat top!! Would be cute if it truly was a size Medium. I normally where a size 8. I gave it to my sister that wears a 4 instead of return hassle. It even flattens her out on top.

Really love the top, but the bottoms are just so so, still bunched around a bit but I will still wear them because i enjoy the top. It has a very nice compression fit

Just got this little number in the mail yesterday and couldn't be happier with the fit! I am by no means a swimmer, but I was looking for something a bit more appropriate to be around family and a bit more comfortable than the average string tie top/bottom. I went by the size charts and got a Small (5'4, 108lbs, 34B chest, 24" waist, 34" hips). The bottoms are perfect, if not barely loose, but they are flattering. I am pretty athletic so I like that the top fits a lot like a sports bra. I got the blue color with the neon green trim and for a blonde, it really pops! Thinking about getting another color just because the price is so sweet.

I prefer two piece bathing suits, but I needed something that wouldn't slip or let anything out while swimming laps, diving or running around. I am 5'5, 32C-25-34 so I ordered the XS and it fits perfectly. Everything stays in place unlike other suits I've worn. The top fits like a sports bra and is a little tight because it's meant to be athletic, but it feels great in the water. The suit is perfect if you're more worried about performance in the water than what your boobs look like laying by the pool.

I recently started getting back into lap swimming and needed something more functional for the sport. For the most part a lot of my swimwear is more on the minimal coverage side. When I first came across this style I liked the bralette style top. I was scared that I would getting the incorrect size since many reviews read that this swimsuit runs small. I wear a small in most items. I am 5'4", 120 lbs with a 34b bust and wear a 26/2 in bottoms. I found this suit to run true to size. The top feels a little constricting, but thats the point. If you're swimming laps you don't want any extra bits slowing you down. I found the bottoms to be slightly baggy, and the drawstring, while ensuring security, it adds bulk up front. I am curious to try out the XS bottoms, but I would have to purchase another whole suit. Wish TYR offered separates. It's not a "sexy" suit, but, I am going to keep this suit because I love the style for working out. The durafast fabric does dries super quickly. Which is also a plus.

I am 5'7" 115lbs, 32b, 26 w, and ordered this item in a small... and it was way too small... The suit is super cute and I am going to try and order it in a large. 2 stars for comfort because of size issue, will update once I receive new suit.

The other comments were pretty accurate. I'm 5'1 and 115 lbs and I got the medium. The top is pretty small, I'm a 32 A and I almost sent back the swimsuit. I decided to keep it though b/c I like the suit altogether. The bottoms are great too. They have a drawstring for adjustment.

I thought the green color would be a little more minty. It is a vibrant neon green. Super cute, I love the style, but if you have any boobs at all you better size up.

Runs very small. I'm 5'10", 135 lbs. I normally wear Small or Medium but I ended up having to order a Large in this suit and it is still pretty tight.

I am 5'11, fit, 36B and the top of a size L was way to tight in the neck/shoulders. The straps were just really squishing my neck. XL felt a little comfier, but the bottom was way too big.

Love this suit! This is my third season and my third purchase of the exact same suit (in a different color each year). I still have and use past years' suits - they're totally functional, just a bit more faded and stretched out. It's a great workout bikini that is sexy and stylish but super comfortable and totally practical for anything athletic. Tyr makes a great quality suit, nothing cheap about it. I've worn this style for triathlons and other competitive outdoor swimming events, paddleboarding and surfing, as well as just for a day at the beach. I've even worn the top with shorts for running. The minimal straps make for tan lines I can live with, as compared to other workout swimsuits with thicker straps. Overall no complaints - I plan to continue sticking with this model unless/until Tyr discontinues it (which would be super unfortunate!).

I'm 5'3", 110lbs, B-cup and the suit fit perfectly... not sure why so many previous reviews say it runs small. The bottoms may be a little snug, but they need to be to stay on while swimming laps. If I went with a medium, they'd be sure to drag in the water. If you're getting this to wade in the pool instead of working out, then yeah, maybe go with the next size up. Looks just like the photo.

Good, durable suit for daily swimming. The top is smaller than expected. It is tight enough, just not wide enough for me (34C). I think the medium would have fit better than the small.

I love TYR suits. This one is cute enough to wear anywhere, durable enough for laps, and I never have to worry about it coming off or being uncomfortable. I wish they had more color combinations for this suit, but I am still pretty happy with these colors.

I determined based on the measurement chart that I should be a medium (my bust is 33.5'' and my hips are 37.5''), but after seeing various reviews saying it was both true to size and others saying it was a little on the tight side, I ordered both a medium and a large to be on the safe. Both sizes fit, but since bathing suits tend to stretch out when wet, I opted to keep the medium and return the large. The top is definitely tight and sports bra-like, but the reason I bought this suit was to keep things covered, so I don't mind! Plus, it's comfortable and cute. Highly recommended.

I am 5'2, 130 lbs. I got the large size. Fits perfect, sporty and sexy. Would not recommend for bra size greater than 34B as it is a tight fit. Excellent for lap swim!, stays in place and feels comfortable with enough coverage for the bottom.

This is super cute, great quality, and very comfortable while swimming. I definitely recommend taking advantage of Zappos free returns and getting a couple of different sizes, the sizing is really weird. I got the Sm and Med sizes. I am 5'5", 120lbs, 32B, size 26 waist, fairly round behind. The Small top was a joke. The Medium fits well, but if it's my time of the month I spill out the top a bit. I imagine with a serious chest you just can't wear this. As for the bottoms, I could have done either the Small or a Medium, but I am happy with the medium.

I love this swim suit so much! The colors are great, and I especially love the fit. With the drawstring feature for the bottoms, falling off or slipping bottoms are never an issue! I get compliments on this suit everywhere. Whether it is the neighborhood pool, swim practice, or the diving boards; this swim suit is sure to prove its durability and cuteness!

Great suit! Very comfortable. I got the small - I'm a 34A, 5'2" 115lb. The top is a compression top. The bottoms have a tie inside like men's jogging shorts would- I'm not sure if they are supposed to be tucked in (you can see the knot) or left showing. The bottoms have good coverage but are still flattering.

This is perfect! It is just what I was looking for to swim laps without the top gapping open. The top is smaller than expected. If you have any kind of top, size up. Too much cleavage for my taste as an exercise suit.

I love this bathing suit! It stays put and it feels really high quality. It was a tad snug right out of the box but by the time I wore it for a day it was perfect! It's the best bikini I've ever had.

After reading lots of reviews I was a bit skeptical about the fit. I have a very small frame with an athletic build (5'3" 100 lbs). I decided to check out TYR's sizing and went with my gut and ordered the XXS. I'm happy I did, the fit is perfect! The suit won't budge and I'm excited to try it out in the water. I love TYR suits.
