Definitely go a 1/2 size up. Reasonably comfortable. Stretch is pretty tight. Note: with a 1/2 size up (I wear a 9 s/s) the 9.5 is right on the edge of my heel, a 1/4 inch of room. Some might want to go a full size up.

Very comfortable. The only problem is the fabric is wrinkled up after only 3 wearings. I think they are overpriced but if comfort is what you're looking for they work.

After reading some of the posted reviews I ordered both my regular size 9N (AA) and went half a size up and to a medium. I definitely need the half size up, but also need to stick with the narrow. I just printed the label for the three that need to go back, and ordered four colors in the 9½N. The shoes, like many Munros, are super comfortable so I cannot wait to get my new order. I do wonder why the sizing was so different as I have more than a dozen pairs of Munros and have never ordered anything but a 9N. I cannot wait to get them.

Comfortable footbed but runs short. Elastic so snug that I walk right out of it. Like the style enough that I'm going to try it wider.

Cute shoe but the narrow is much too narrow and the stretch fabric is very tight, so I have to send back.

So much to like about this shoe, but it has a fatal flaw; the upper is very tight across the instep. The foot bed on this shoe is to die for. In the illustration it looks like the kind of hard cork foot bed found in Birkies, but it's softer and conforms to the foot as soon as you put it on. The rubber layer absorbs shock and it's wonderfully comfortable. The problem is that the stretchy cloth upper is very tight makes it difficult to get my foot all the way into the shoe. My normal size is 7W; I found the width of the shoe to be correct, but the length was a bit short. I would love to try another shoe with this foot bed, but a different style upper.

These shoes were nowhere near as comfortable as I was hoping they would be... based on the price and the description. They fit on the smaller side and the top band doesn't stretch enough to give enough when you walk in them.

I wrote earlier that I'd had to go up half a size in these when I returned the 9AA and ordered four pair in 9 1/2AA. Got them and wore the black ones twice comfortably, but on the third wearing the elastic felt so stretched that my foot was slipping so much I couldn't comfortably keep them on. Afraid to try the AAAA. Was really hoping these ran like the Munro Traci that I've had in several colors for several years and that still fit firmly. So sorry these didn't work as I generally find Munro's such a great fit for my narrow feet and am always glad when I find a pair that doesn't look too old ladyish.

These are narrow, no matter what size you pick, apparently. People who wear "N" are saying so, and I'm a "WW" and I'm saying so. I hope they will stretch a bit.

Too narrow for a wide width shoe. A little too expensive for a fabric upper so am returning it.

Unbelievably tight shoe. The length was true to size, but the width was very narrow and the fabric did not stretch even after wearing twice. Cute, but not worth the pain!

Too narrow by far for an extra wide shoe. And the fabric upper was only a tiny bit stretchy. Very very disappointing, Munro. I was ready to buy every color and make them my perfect summer shoe. Please make a flat summer sandal with modest coverage that is truly wide. Why is a cute, truly wide shoe impossible to make? I know I am not the only person who wants this.

Love these shoes. They are comfortable to wear all day and have good arch support unusual for a summer shoe. I ordered them 1/2 size longer and and in narrow, though I usually wear a 4A width. I wear the denim pair with and without socks and ordered another pair in red that I wear without socks only, to maintain a snug fit. Love them!

Based on prior reviews, I ordered 1/2 size larger than I wear in most sandals & found length to be perfect. This is an attractive light weight, easy to pack sandal & very comfortable. However, order in another color was too loose & replacement in narrower width too tight. Had to return them. Will try again since there are some inconsistencies in sizing.

Great, comfy shoe. No break in period. For a sandal - excellent arch support. I can't wear flip-flops due to my absolutely flat feet, so these are a perfect alternative. I wore these in Switzerland and Italy this summer and they were perfect for sight-seeing. Highly recommend.

These are very pretty. I love the bright red. Have not had red shoes since I was a kid. I ordered the Slim -- one width narrower for me -- because sandals usually stretch and I walk right out of them. However, I like the look of these so much that I am willing to give them a little time to loosen up. My only choice with "mules" like this as there is nothing else to hold them on to my AA width foot. Other than the width problem which is mine, I think that you would like the look.

Nicely made and would be comfortable for the right person. I ordered wide because of reviews but they were too wide. The shoe is flatter than it appears and for that reason I am returning and not exchanging. The look is a little dated as well. I wear an 8.5 or 9. Bought the 9 and the length was perfect.

I love the simplicity of this shoe. Usually I take a 12AA, but these shoes feel like a AAA, and I'm not sure if I could wear them long enough to stretch them out. I also ordered the Munro 'Sandy' and it fits fine. Maybe because it's adjustable.

My new favorite casual shoe. Great support for such a simple style, though I can't wear them all day. If you don't have problem arches, you'll be fine. I agree with other reviewers that they run very narrow. I usually wear M but finally settled on W. The EE was actually the best width but the stretch fabric was too loose to keep them on my feet while walking. I usually buy a 9.5 in open sandals and a 10 in closed shoes, but I needed the 10 in these.

I love Munro shoes! But this pair seemed to run more narrow than others I own. I wanted to re-order them in a 6 Wide, but they are out of stock in black.

I found this at Zappos after seeing it at Nordstrom, but they didn't have my size 8WW. Fits perfect, comfortable. I will only shop at Zappos from now on.

Wow! These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had on my feet! I listened to other reviews and ordered them 1/2 size bigger than I usually wear. They were perfect. I have them now in three colors. Unfortunately the blue ones ran very narrow (even for my narrow feet) so I had to return them.

I had to order these in 3 different sizes before I found the perfect fit. Very comfortable. I hope they don't stretch much because they are perfect right now.

I love these slides. I cannot wear thong sandals, so these are the perfect sandal for me. I have them in every color. I wear a 6 1/2 wide and they fit true to size.

These sandals are among the most comfortable of all the shoes I have. The fit is great. The one bad note; I can only buy these when they are on sale.
