Great shoes for the trail and beyond. Excellent grip on the pedals and the uppers keep my feet dry even when riding throu small creeks.

Two things I like is the padded toe area which has helped me with end toe pain and the toe box is ample wide which also helps relieve front foot pain. I have rode in both hot 85f to cool 40f without any discomfort. I am very pleased with the overall quality and hopefully they will last for a couple of years use.

Doesn't fit as well as Freeride. Sizing seems small.

Great product, wish the soles would last a bit longer for heavy riding.

Love this shoe EXCEPT that the tongue always goes towards the outside of the shoe. Big toe box is a plus as is the rigidity of what's beneath my foot - helps on bigger drops. If it helps, I'm on the big side at like 6-6 and 245-250 riding weight. Comes in larger sizes is another plus.

Love these shoes, but they run small. Both my husband and I had to upsize by .5.

I ordered a pair of the regular freerider and a pair of the freerider pro, toe box on the freerider pro is too narrow and much lower. I also recognized that the heel slips and when compared to the regular freerider shoe you'll see that the back of the freerider pro shoe is much lower. I'd tried to like them but I am exchanging the freerider pro shoe for the impact pro.
I'd also recommend:

The shoes felt great out of the box. They are still and really help with my pedaling, I use flat pedals on a gravel bike. After a few hundred miles, I have one concern, there is already a dot on the bottom of the shoe with more wear then the others, like there was an air pocket of flaw on the dot ( 4 stars not 5). The soles are super sticky. I only wear them when riding, should last me for years. Well made shoe and I would consider buying again.

fit was true to size, maybe a teeny bit small, but still i took my 9.5 size when i go from 9 to 10 depending on brand, but mostly 9.5. too expensive, so they better last a while. they have a nice stiffer sole for power transfer and a moderately protected toe cap and this is what makes them better than the freerider original shoe. should that cost $50 more??? dont think so, but dont have a choice if you want that stiffer sole and toe protection, which i did. as an ex roadie i needed stiffness and toe protection and great grip which these have in spades. i converted to riding flats on my first ride i tried them on my trail bike. i had a lot of fear i wouldnt be able to jump or bunnyhop or rear wheel lift and i was able to do it all. just had to remember to keep contact with the pedal at the upstroke part of the rotation! so much more confidence in trying more techinical sections of the trails and now i can truly rip corners and have my inside foot inside to prepare to drift the rear wheel. way more fun and i feel safer. not going back to clips on the mtb bikes any time soon!

My prior pair of freerider pros (same but black stitching) lasted for a couple of years of very heavy use but the pair I bought last fall only lasted a couple of months and probably less than 300 miles before separating at the seam between the sole and the body of both shoes. I didn't report it within the 6 month warranty window so was given a hard time about getting a credit for them but was able to get them to give it to me in the end. I'm not sure if the manufacturing process has changed but these were very disappointing compared to my prior pair.

After 6 months of use the sole became detached slightly from the side and lost its water resistance kinda sad since I have had great luck in the past with five-ten products

Stick to the pedals like glue like no other, but I have had a quality issue with
the shoes in the same place and now on my 3rd pair in 2 months. Adidas customer service has been excellent in replacing etc

Looks like a nice shoe but far too narrow for broad feet even after going up a size.

I was required to order a half size larger (9.5 med. width) to fit my size (9) foot. The size 9 toe box was good in length but were tight across the toe pad area, the toe box had zero room for foot swell during exercise. The 9.5 feel like a size 9, however the toe box should be made slightly wider in the future.

Five Ten have lost there way since Adidas take over.
Who's feet are this shape? You're box is too thin, padding is thin. compared to old shoe which has good width in the toe box and nice thick padding.
After many years of Use, sadly it's time to move on from Five Ten and try another brand.

Since Adidas bought Five Ten, the quality has decreased drastically. These shoes only last a few months before having holes in the sole and worn out rubber. Disappointing.

I have 4 other pairs of FiveTens and thought these would be just as great. Not even close. Comfortable, slightly narrow but break in to fit well, the soles are trash. The sole started to seperate from the shoe and tear apart after less than 6 months of casual use maybe 2X a week. Customer service is even worse with the warranty. Never again, I'll be shopping elsewhere for shoes

The new recycled prime blue materials make the soul about 20% harder than the previous trainer so you do not stay on the pedals anywhere near as well the better rubber-soled version. And I am running nukeproof pro pedals which are the grippiest pedals on the market

I've been wearing Five Ten for almost a decade and they were great shoes BEFORE Adidas took over the brand. These shoes appear to be well made, but very small and narrow. I could not even slide my size 11 Regular feet into them. These are the 3rd model that I'm returning, none fit me. Unless you want to keep shipping and reordering, you may want to try these in an actual brick and mortar store, or go with a different brand.
