Our one year old must have big feet because these wouldn’t even fit over his heel despite following Native’s size guide on their website. Returned and reordered one size up.

Fit and size seemed pretty close to normal. Unfortunately since they are "slip on" shoes, it was a bit tough for my 4 yo to get them on himself as his feet had to really be wiggled in the small-ish opening. Once they are on though, he seems to enjoy them! We just lose a little independence there. I would consider buying them again, but maybe a different style with a wider opening or something a bit more flexible for little fingers/hands.

Bought for my grandkids, 4 yrs. old. They are just outgrowing size 8 shoes, so bought size 9; they are a little big, but should fit well for the next several months. Moderate arch support is enhanced by the inflexible mid-sole, for arch stability. The girls picked 4 different colors and were delighted with them. Colors shone are true to life. They have worn these Natives before and never had any problems with rubbing or chafing. Waterproof, but the holes do let in sand and dirt. Great for helping in the garden; I just wash them off in a stream of water.

Cute shoes but definitely not made for wide or chunky toddler feet. My son has chunky feet and they’re definitely too narrow for his feet!

All my kids love these shoes. They wear well, are washable and durable. I wish they came in half sizes.

This is the second pair of Natives our family has bought. I bought my older son a pair when he was around 5/6. My younger son is 3.5. He absolutely loves them even though they are slightly big. I am loving that he will grow into them as toddlers feet grow super fast. They do run large. I forgot and ordered his normal size but they are wearable so no biggie. These shoes hold up great and are wonderful for summer. Love they can be rinsed and good as new!

I’ve tried purchasing natives for both my boys. Neither kid liked them. Cried when I put them on their feet. I wanted them to love them so bad because they’re easy to clean and water friendly, perfect for summer. But alas my kids are too picky. Keens have been the only water friendly shoe they’ll wear.

The fit was too long for my 6 year old and too tight for my 3 year old’s fat foot.

Bought this for a trip. Great shoe, as it’s not the cutest. Better than flip flops as kids do not trip as much. Returned as keens still fit my son and they were no longer needed. Will be purchasing for the summer and pool time

These shoes are so adorable! Unfortunately, they were too narrow and left indentations on the top of my child's foot within 5 minutes of wearing them. Sadly, I will have to return.

My kid seemed to love these but their comment about not causing feet to smell is untrue. Any time we took these off our kid her feet smelled. This issue doesn’t happen in her other sandals or sneakers. I can’t figure out why these didn’t hold up to that claim. Returning because it’s annoying to listen to my husband say her feet stink every time we take them off.

Very cute shoes; we've already received a few compliments on them. They are super light. My toddler loves them. However, he has wider feet, and while the length is perfect for his size, the shoes are a little narrow for him. Otherwise no complaints!

This is my second pair. 1.5 year old needed a bigger size 5. I think his feet must have gotten fatter because when we originally bought the size 4 he was slipping out. With the size 5 he has room in the toe, but his feet are so wide the cut out circles make imprints on his feet. He still really likes them and they’re great in the summer.

Time will tell on comfort and durability, but a kid usually wearing a little kid's 13 perfectly fits into this size 11, so the shoes from our perspective run huge.

Cute shoes but run really big. I ordered these and the Miles for my 2 year old who has tiny feet. The size 4 in these were huge, but the 4 in the Miles fit really well with a little room to grow.

Natives are wonky. We love them in our house, but the sizing is always off. My son is a size 1 in Vans and Keens, but he’s a 12 (yes, TWO sizes smaller) in Natives. That leads to some disappointment with the multiple returns and him really wanting his shoes. Overall though, they’re comfy, easy on/off and cute. Just beware the sizing!

My 6-year-old daughter has been wearing these for the last 3 years and loves them. Her feet get dirty because of the holes, but I still like them for summer because they protect her toes when she is skateboarding and such, and I can just wash them in the sink (her feet and the shoes. Ha!). My 2-year-old got her first pair this year and got bleeding blisters on the sides of both feet! Not sure why, but of course Zappos took care of me and allowed me to return them even though they were worn. Bummed because now I need to find her dif summer shoes.

these shoes are very cute and light. they run very large. i wish they came in half sizes . i went a full size down.

Super cute and I love that it's easy enough for my 5 year old to put on himself. They do definitely run big, so he is wearing them with socks until he grows into them a little more. But great for where we live in Southern California, easy to rinse off from sand, and just spray down with vinegar when they start to smell.

These are super cute but are more than a full size too big. My son wears size 12 GEox sneakers and the Size 12 Natives look to be 2 sizes to big.

These are adorable but not great for toddler with a thicker foot. The thickness of his foot hasn’t prevented him from wearing other shoes in the past but these were tight around is foot. He enjoys wearing shoes but these would bother him if he was just sitting in them. Just wish either more flexible material or option for wider/thicker toddler foot.
