Just received my bracelet yesterday (2/19/2019) which I absolutely love BUT the clasp unhinged and bracelet fell off my arm.

I got this (very sentimental) gift for being a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding and I lost it because all it would take is putting your wrist down on a table just so for it to become unhinged and pop off.

My boyfriend bought this for me for my birthday and I wish he would have read the reviews first! This bracelet is so cute but the hinge is poorly designed and constantly is coming unhinged. I would usually find it unhinged hanging on my wrist and one day it fell off and I lost it. Very disappointing. I wish KS would redesign this bracelet so the hinge wasn't defective!

I was given this bracelet as a gift and I loved it. Unfortunately the clasp doesn't work and it kept falling off now it is lost. I reached out to customer service and they didn't even offer me a discount for replacing it. I have other kate spade bracelets that have the same issue. I expected much higher quality from kate spade especially given the price of their items. I wouldn't buy any bracelets from them. This bracelet went missing on the 3rd time i ever wore it. What a waste of money.

I received this bracelet as a graduation present from my friend. It was meant to be a friendship bracelet - "no matter how far we go from each other, our hearts will always be tied together." I was very upset when i was walking on vacation and i looked down and the bracelet wasn't on my wrist anymore. I almost started to cry. The clasp is horrible and I am very disappointed. That bracelet meant a lot to me.

I loved the look of this bracelet--however, from the moment i bought it the clasp would continue to open on its own and the bracelet would fall off. I was lucky for awhile and would notice it, but have now officially lost it to the faulty clasp. Do not buy this item--it will end up being a waste.

I love this bracelet but the clasp on the bracelet itself is designed horribly. I will be replacing this bracelet again for the FORTH time because it keeps breaking. I would not recommend this bracelet to anyone. Save your money.

I purchased this bracelet as a gift for my friends birthday. The bracelet is beautiful, however it is currently stuck on her wrist. It has been stuck for two days now and she is going to have to take it to a jewler to be removed (hopefully). We are very disappointed in the quality of the clasp. Hopefully, she can get it removed, but she will not be able to wear this again.

I bought this for my bridesmaid because she currently owns the Kate Spade "Bride idiom" bangle and says that though it fits she has a hard time getting it on and off. I thought with a hinged bangle that this would eliminate the problem. When I received the bracelet I thought it looked small. I opened it and tried it on and it was SO TIGHT it wouldn't move on my wrist. I'm not "plus-sized" and my bridesmaid with the brides idiom bracelet is. This bracelet does not actually measure the 2.5" diameter it advertises. I measured it - it's 2" I measured my wrist around. it's is 7" exactly. If that helps any one else looking to buy this bracelet. Returning immediately.

I loved this bracelet when I first saw it and it looks great on, but the amount of time I spend looking for it is ridiculous. The latch opens so easily while you're wearing the bracelet that it falls off constantly. If I lose it, I'm not buying it again.

This bangle rusted after 4 months of having it. I got the silver one as a wedding gift and the entire knot part was a copper color because of the rust. Also, the clasp is not good and the bangle kept falling off.

I ordered 2 of these bracelets before my wedding for my mom and I, and the clasps are cheap and do not hold. We both lost them and Kate Spade would not reimburse. Very disappointing for a company I have spent a lot of money on and used to consider a great company.

I'm very disappointed in the quality of this bracelet. I received it as an anniversary gift from my husband. Though it is beautiful to look at the clasp is very poorly made and it is turning my wrist green. It is not what I would expect from a $78.00 bracelet.

This bangle was a gift given to me when my best friend asked me to be her Maid of Honor. Unfortunately, it fell off of my wrist due to the faulty clasp while I was out to dinner with friends. I went into the Kate Spade store the next day and they wouldn't replace it even though I explained the story. I had to buy another, even though I can't wear it because I know the clasp doesn't work. Don't buy this. Even with the new clasp, you'll be worried it will fall apart like mine did.

My daughter received this bracelet in March from a close family friend as a 16th birthday gift and absolutely loves it. I had noticed the clasp didn't seem all that robust but she'd been wearing it on and off (2-3 days per week) for the past month with no problem until now. Today she called me from school distraught because it apparently fell off her wrist at some point and is lost. Aside from liking the style of it, the piece had sentimental value to her as a "Sweet 16" gift. I'd actually come to the website to look into the availability of a replacement in the event her bracelet isn't found at school. But now, after reading all the reviews describing the same problem, I highly doubt we'll replace it. Too bad because it was so pretty and she and I both love and own Kate Spade products (bags, glasses, jewelry). Very, very disappointed in the quality of this product.

I adore this bracelet, but the magnetic clasp has never worked properly. It used to fall off every other time I wore it, but now after a year it won't stay on for more than a few seconds. Unfortunately, I purchased the bracelet over a year ago, so Kate Spade will not replace it. I hope that Kate Spade can fix this poor design so that future purchasers do not encounter these problems.

First I received the bracelet without a "safety clasp" So we returned to Nordstrom and they finally got me one with a clasp - and then the third time it was worn, as I put it on, the clasp broke at the base - and it was not attached onto the bracelet correctly to start with. I want my money back and a different bracelet - Can anyone help?

I received this as an engagement gift ("tying the knot"!) recently from my cousin. I absolutely loved it, but the clasp was terrible & kept opening & the bracelet falling off. Luckily I found it on the floor a few times until I lost it for good less than a month after receiving it. I was considering buying it again to replace the one I lost as it was a very sentimental gift. But now after reading the reviews online I don't think I will, as other have clearly had the same issue. Definitely wouldn't recommend this product - not worth it at all.

I've carried Kate Spade bags for years, and finally succumbed to the charms of your sailor's knot hinge bracelet (in gold) this summer. I bought it at the Kate Spade store on Madison Avenue, in Manhattan, and absolutely loved it .... But the clasp started to malfunction within a month. I kept wearing it anyway, until I lost it, just a few weeks later. Because I miss it so much (Merry Christmas to me!), I decided to order another one--until I read the reviews online. If there is such an obvious problem with a shoddy, cheap hinge, why doesn't Kate Spade just fix the problem?? It's not rocket science. The bracelet is beloved by everyone who wears it. Until they lose it, that is.

I love Kate Spade jewelry and this piece was no exception. Unfortunately, the clasp on the first bracelet I purchased would not stay for more than a few minutes. I returned it for another, thinking that this particular clasp was just faulty, but the new bracelet was just as bad. Needless to say, I lost the second bracelet after one day of wear because the clasp kept coming undone. It's too delicate for its own good. Very disappointing.

I was so excited to buy 14 of these adorable bangles for my bridesmaids. The quality is terrible, half of my bridesmaids lost the bracelet within a week because the clasp does not work! I regret this purchase.
