Bought these for my 11 yr old son. He really liked them and thought they were very comfortable, but they did not hold up well at all. Started wearing them late Aug just before school started and 2 months later they were literally falling apart. He is not allowed to wear sneakers at his school so he only wore them after school and on weekends and they still only lasted 2 months. Very disappointing at the low quality of this product. Would not recommend for active kids/adults.

Not as comfortable or as good a walking shoe as I had hoped for. In addition to general comfort and support, the canvas upper, just underneath the shoelaces bunches up slightly as well. Like there's a little too much material there.

Great style and comfort but quality is not as great as other Nike products. I bought these for my 14 year old son who loved the style. The shoes are only 1 month old and have tears already.

Tread runs down too fast! If you are going to wear these daily, the tread will run down within months and the shoe becomes a hazard. Coming inside from the rain, I've almost fallen many times once the wet bottom of my now treadless shoe hit tile. Also the white paint on the street crosswalk becomes dangerous when wet without proper tread. I carry a baby and there have been many times I was slipping. I cannot wear these on days with a chance of rain because of this and I've had them less than 6 months.

I ordered these and at first they were really comfortable but after one week of wearing them the mesh ripped and now my toe shows whenever I wear them. I will not be buying Roshe Runs again.

I'm a jogger, not a runner really, and normally train about 10 miles a week. I've been running in a pair of Nike Fusion 2's for about a year, and needing a new pair of shoes decided to go with the Nike Roshe Run's based on the positive review here. I tried on the shoes and found them uncomfortable. While they are not a "minimalist" shoe, they are sort of trending that way. The soles are thinner than my Fusion 2's. The insoles are ribbed, which I found to be uncomfortable, even through running socks. I boxed the shoes back up and will be returning them for credit towards a pair of Nike Fusion III's. While the Roshe Run's may be great shoes for many, they just don't do it for me. The Fusion's cost little more...but they appear to be more what I'm accustomed to.

For me, this shoe just didn't work. The top of the shoe is all stretch material with no type of banding, which might work for a lot of people but I could roll my foot to the side and feel my toe on the floor through the fabric as it slid sideways. Probably a good shoe for going to the store type things, but definitely not for running or cross training.

Great, light, comfortable shoes. Here's the problem: The sole wears down really quickly. In four months of moderate walking like 3 days a week, mine have worn down to the base of the sole in some areas. It's a huge bummer, because these shoes are otherwise awesome.

Too delicate for an active kid. These shoes started getting frayed on the upper the first day my 9 year old had them. They'd be great for an adult.

Shoe is VERY lightweight and feels like a slipper. My problem was that after wearing it a couple of weeks the shoe seemed to stretch out so much, it felt like I was wearing a shoe that was 2 sizes too big. Also, minimal support for your feet.

My son was so excited about this shoe, but after only about three weeks of wear (I ordered them on April 25), they are falling apart. I've never had a pair of Nike shoes that lasted less than a month! I know they are a less expensive shoe, but I still expected more from the Nike brand. It's the top of the shoe, which is very thin fabric, that is the problem. There are already holes and runs on the top of each shoe along where the big toe is. This has never happened with the Nike Lunar Glides or Air Max that I have purchased. Since Zappos has such excellent customer service, I will be reaching out to see if there's anything they can do to help.

Cliff notes: Ripped after 3 wears. Typical Nike, you need to go up a half to full size. These shoes were incredibly comfortable, they are like wearing Crocs all day, and no one has to know. However, after about 3 wears the mesh on the outside of both shoes had begun to tear. This was after nothing more than city walking. Nothing more than a couple miles total put on them. Sadly I had to return them for a more structured build.

I thought these shoes would be more comfortable. Hard to put on with sticky innersole. Light weight. Laces are too short.

My 12 year old wore these for 2 weeks and they got a hole on the mesh by the toes. Not for younger kids and I would argue, not sturdy! Thanks Zappos for taking this return!

While I find it unattractive, my teenage son loved this shoe & raved about the comfort. Only issue was in 3 weeks the fabric across the entire front toe of both shoes completely separated from the shoe. Maybe just a defective batch. Zappos was great, as always, about the return. My son loves them so much that he wants to replace them with the same pair. For the cost, I hope the new pair last longer then the first.

These are not comfortable... not sure what the other reviewers loved so much about these. They look good but the ribbed footbed is uncomfortable and feels super strange! Why would you have a footbed that is ribbed?

Paper thin fabric! My son didn't even bother trying them on as we knew these will not last, and will have very little support with how thin the fabric is. Wow, Nike quality is not what it used to be. I can't see these lasting on an active 13 yr. old boy more than a few months. There is also absolutely no traction, and a huge pitch/angle from toe to heel. The underside of the toe is extremely thin. Try again Nike - These are going back.

The inside is really hard and hurts my son's feet terribly. I have to order different shoes now. He is limping around due to these not being comfortable on the bottom. He initially liked them until he was wearing them around.

I don’t like these. They made my upper bone in my foot get swollen. Returned 2 pair for credit.

We ordered a women’s 6.5 for our daughter. Her last pair of 6.5 roches fit perfectly but were worn out. I accidentally sent her in these to school thinking they would fit. They are so huge she can’t wear them. My mistake but sizing is way off! Double check yours.

Not bad looking shoes but the quality is the worst i have ever seen, i owned a pair of vans and they lasted me almost 1 and a half years, (note the vans were totaly destroyed by this point) But still I got a hole in these within 3 weeks of owning them with just regular use, I was really excided becuse they looked pretty cool but did not hold up.
