The shoes look good, but I am returning them due to a low number of lace holes. They felt like the laces barely held the shoe on my foot.

Very cheap feel to these sneakers. They are more of a flat foot design. There is not a big arc to them at all. The photos are much more deceiving in showing the true colors of these sneakers. They are more of a gray color than what appears online. Online it looks like they are white, but they are more of a dark gray. Also, there aren't a lot of lace holes - so my feet felt and looked like they were going to pop right out of the sneakers. Going to return them right now - and get what I should have purchased in the first place - ASICS!

These are great sneakers that very comfortable. The Air ventilation is excellent.

Very comfortable, suits perfectly for my needs, keeps me feet dry and ventilated. I sure recommend these pair of snickers.

Great shoes. I got the grey with orange trim and get positive comments every time I wear them. I have a narrow foot and still had to order a full size larger--and they are still snug.

I am returning these shoes because they felt a full size smaller, hence very tight in the toe box.

More than just a shoe, Zappos is one, if not the best online place to do business. I do like this shoe very much, however Zappos has always given me the best customer experience consistently! Oh Yeah the shoe is awesome also. And no they have not given me anything extra to say these nice things about them!!! Now if anyone else wants to toss some shoes my way I could use a size 10 hiking boot. Hah! hah!

Very comfortable for walking the dog, taking a leisurely trail run, or hiking around the office. I found them more comfortable than the previous version, and I've worn almost all of the Alvords. Basic boring black but perfect for most casual workplaces.

I have large, rather square-ish feet (14E), and I've struggled over most of my adult life to find good quality, comfortable, everyday-type sneakers that I can wear longer than an hour before I want to throw them in the trash and go back to wearing my Crocs! But, alas, I finally have found the shoe for me! I have been very unlucky over the years finding a shoe to fit my needs, especially from Nike, but I tried on these Air Alvord 10s in the Wolf Grey/Black/University Red (OSU Buckeyes colors!) at a local Shoe Carnival and immediately fell in love. I liked them so much that I just had to have the Dark Grey/Total Orange*/Black models as well to go with all of my Chicago Bears apparel. I ordered them from Zappos despite the fact that they were not available in the Extra Wide, but as it turns out, the regular width 14s are a great fit, and I couldn't be more pleased. I hope Nike continues to make these Air Alvords for years to come. *Beware, buyers, the Total Orange is extremely bright, and not for the faint of heart or sight.

I like the Alvord very much. I just ordered my fifth pair. They are very comfortable, largely due to excellent ventilation and a sturdy, but comfortable sole. I hope they never discontinue this model.

Although this is marketed as a trail runner I would't put it in that category. Very similar to other running shoes and nothing that really makes it special on trails over the street. Still it's comfortable and seems to hold up well.

These shoes are sized as medium-width but fit rather narrow. I have bought the same size & (medium) width shoes for 20 years but had to return these as they were unwearable. I'd have taken a wider size in the same shoe if it had been available but it was not.

I've had a ton of Nikes over the years. I've been running for about 4 now with quite a few 5k, 10k and a half under my belt. This was my first pair of trail shoes. The only two issues I had were the shoe ran a tad smaller then expected and the area inside the shoe where the laces connect started to come apart on me; has not failed yet though. I'd like to see Nike fix the lace loop issue and this is a solid shoe. I've put well over 150 miles on this pair so far.

The good: - They fit well (if a little small like most Nikes). - They're comfortable. - Work really well for mixed media running (trail/pavement/sand). The bad: - They don't breathe particularly well. - They take on water pretty quickly. - The orange of the sole faded in the sun the first day I had them out to dry.

Men's 12.5 great fitting and great functioning sneaker for the price. Not great for walking on asphalt but on trails, grass, loose surfaces or snow are super.

Like the look and color of the shoe; however, it seems like Nike is really getting cheap with this line. I have owned most of the Alvord line and the shoes are getting less and less quality with each new series. They are getting cheaper in price, but I would prefer a little more quality for more price. Examples are that the Alvord 9 had almost a stitched on logo, where these seem like cheap colored plastic. They are maybe 4 loops on each side for the laces (I think others have said this as well). That wouldn't be too bad except there is little arch support so I put inserts in and the shoe has very little room after this. Hard to feel laced and secure with 4 loops to lace up with. That said, still my favorite line but I still wish they would stop cutting corners.

The shoe is pretty comfortable. The "sock" that's built in to the shoe makes it a little tight, but in this style of shoe a snug fit is a good thing. It's pretty rugged, thought not the least bit water tight. The soles have faded a little from the sun already which I was little disappointed with, but overall I like the shoe, it fits well, and is a good value.

This shoe repeatedly cut the back of my ankle just above the heel cup. I assumed that it just needed a little breaking in; however, after many uses it still cut and even blistered this area. I've never owned a pair of shoes that have done this. While the shoe is stylish and lightweight as a trail running/walking shoe I would never buy it again. I'm truly disappointed and hope others do not have the same experience. For me it was a complete waste of money.

I returned these because they were small so I did not get to really try them out. I like them so I am ordering half a size bigger and we will see how they fit. After researching the internet, I feel like I am dumb for not already knowing Nike typically runs small.

I have very wide feet, so I ordered the 4E size. The shoe width is great; however, the tongue has issues. It is not wide enough for the width of this shoe. You can see your socks peeking through. Otherwise, comfy.

These fell apart the first time. The way they designed the lacing system uses a piece of fabric from the loop to the sole. It ripped out from the inside on both shoes! I am terribly disappointed in the decline of quality from Nike recently.
