These are very comfortable. Like pillows, and I can fit an orthotic in them. They look nice with pants.

These shoes are wonderful! I have problem feet. I can't be on my feet for long unless I'm wearing exceptionally comfortable shoes--that's what these shoes are! I bought a pair of Softspots several years ago--Tatianna, ankle strap huaraches--and they are still the shoe I can count on if I must be on my feet for many hours. When I decided I needed a comfortable winter shoe, versatile enough to wear with dresses or dress pants, I looked at the Softspots offerings. I was disappointed that there aren't more styles to choose from. Ally is the only style that I felt might fit my needs, but I really didn't like it that much. After trying a few other brands with no success, I ordered the Ally. It is so comfortable that the style has grown on me and I like it OK. I will buy more Softspots in the future, just hope that they broaden their range of styles.

Bought a pair for meyself and my 76 yr old mother. We both love them. The shoes look great with slacks and skirts. The patent leather makes it alittle dressy. Very nice loafer.

These are comfortable, attractive shoes. I think the bronze color goes with a lot. I am wearing them right now, as it turns out. Good walking shoe without looking orthopedic.

Very cute and very comfy. I'm thinking these will serve very well as casual-to-business crossovers. Unfortunately, I'm still having trouble converting US size to Euro, so it's a size too big.

I am returning the size 7ww because it was a half size too big and I am getting the 6.5 ww. The shoe is what I was looking for and the style is great.

Very cute shoe, amazingly comfortable for walking. Cushioned insole with nice support. Work well with casual wear or even at work. My only complaint was that the pair had slight rub/scuff marks out of the box, on the upper and the side of the sole. I was leaving on a trip and figured I'd scuff them soon enough, but was surprised to receive them that way.

I had to order these shoes three times to make them right. The first time I ordered half a size smaller because of the reviews. That was a big mistake. My toe area was badly squished. I returned them and got my regular size of 5½ in Briar & Copper color. They fit a tad too snugly, but I am keeping them. However, I am back to get a size 6, half a size larger than my normal size, in black.

This shoe is very comfortable once broken in. Was looking for a slip on loafer style for wearing with jeans and slacks.

At first when I tried on thought might be a bit tight in front due to such great padding on foot bed, but once had them on very comfortable - a bit loose in heel & maybe just a bit snug on front of foot, but may just be my foot shape! Overall very comfy now after numerous wearing in office and out - very attractive, get lots of compliments!

Shoes fit in length but were too wide for my narrow foot (AA). Trotters fit my foot perfectly in (AA). I would need a (AAA) in this shoe. The shoes were fine otherwise.

These shoes were cute, but were a bit too narrow and my heels wanted to slip out of them. Sadly I'll be returning these.

These were comfortable, but I returned these, not because of the gaping when the shoe flexed that others noticed (it was there, but did not seem a fatal flaw), but because I found the Softspots Alyssa and Arden both came in navy and did not threaten to gap, and came in leather which can be polished. I do like a boat shoe look though and this has the well-cushioned sole.

The shoes are extremely comfortable as I have purchased both the black and copper. The left shoe on the copper does squeak when I walk and that can get annoying. But the look and feel of the shoe is great!

Such a cute shoe for office work. I ordered a 9/narrow (I'm an 8 1/2 to 9 normally), and could kick the shoe right off with no effort! Too bad!

I ordered this shoe in my normal size, and the heel was so big, that my foot slipped with each step. So I decided to try 1/2 size smaller, but in wide...did not work either. The heel was better, but my feet were not happy, as they were too tight. Alas, back they go.

These shoes are so cute and feel like they'd be very comfortable for all day standing on your feet. But the wides just fell off my heels, and who likes shoes flopping around like that? It's nice that they offer several widths, and I had ordered several other styles and widths (wides) of Softspots at the same time, and they all did the same thing. Great styles, good support, fit fine in front, feet slipped right out in back. Too bad, because these would be great work shoes.

This show tends to be very large in the heel. I ordered an 8-1.2 N, then an 8N, and finally a 7-1/2 N. All were too big in the hell and I stepped out of them when I walked. Had to return all. But loved the design.

Although I like the look on the webpage, the finish looks like plastic in person. Not my style, I discovered...maybe I'm too conservative?

Basen on other reviews for this shoe, I ordered a 9 instead of an 8.5, which was a mistake as the shoe is slipping off at the heel. It also feels too wide at the sides. The shoe has a Mocassin look which is a little more sporty and not quite as stylish as the Naturalizer Colson style which I ordered at the same time for comparison.

The earlier reviewers' comments regarding the odd shape of these shoes was spot-on. They felt a half-size too short and were wide at the arch rather than the toe-box. This results in a fairly unattractive bulge at the mid-foot, the toes being squished, and the great-toe joint rubbed. The foot-bed was nice and cushy, the leather upper was attractive and soft, and the sole was supportive and flexible. If they'd fix the weird bulging mid-foot, these shoes would probably be perfect for a normal-width foot.
