Awesome looking shoe but the sole blew out in under 7 weeks of what I would consider to be average usage. The construction is miserable, please think long and hard before purchasing. Frye should be ashamed to deliver such a poor quality product at such a high price.

I really wanted to give these 5 stars but I simply can't. Purchased in May 2013 (ordered 1/2 size down), within 1 month of moderate wear they started falling apart. First the interior stitching on the heel, then that started spreading around the rest of the opening. Within 60 days the sole has separated from the leather where the shoe bends (right at the toe box) on both inside and outside of both feet. In August, I took to San Francisco as my main shoe; what a mistake, after 3 days of continuous wear and walking I got a horrible pain in my achilles...no blister just a really painful sensation. I bought for 2 reasons; style and brand. The style is why I still have them but the brand has let me down. For $150 and from Frye I expected a long-lasting shoe. I feel cheated and want my money back...

I own a few pairs of Frye boots and have never been happier with quality and comfort. These shoes broke in quickly to become super comfortable and then after wearing a few times the heel ribbing totally fell apart. I am not happy.

A very comfortable and great looking shoe, but made very poorly. Within 2 months of moderate use, the rubber began separating from the leather and I had worn through the soles.

Received my shoes today.Correct size on the third try.Obvious that shoes had been worn and returned. Bottoms and white trim dirty. Not happy.

I love these, I needed a black casual sneaker and I think I got the best available. They are stylish and comfortable, can be worn with anything, dressed down or up. Worth the price, I'm so happy with these.

Nice low sneaker/shoe. The outside is very soft and flexible. The foot bed is leather and comfortable (I wear them without socks), but doesn't offer a tremendous amount of support. So, your feet may feel it if you decide to walk all day in them. I usually wear a 10 wide or a 10.5 regular shoe. The 10.5 regular fit well.

I have a pair of both Chambers Low and the Chambers High...super comfortable but the outer sole separated from the leather rather soon. I love these shoes for their comfort but am disappointed by the weakness of the construction. Not sure if I'd buy another pair. Where else can I get something so cool?

Bought these before a walking trip to London last summer (saw the Stones in these shoes) and didn't bother to have to break these things in. Comfortable out of the box. I have since worn these multiple times but the heel rubber may be a bit thin - have blown through both heels in about 7-8 months. Going to give them another try because I really like the shoe.

The first thing I noticed was the purposeful and I think cool, worn, look. The next thing I noticed and remembered when I ordered, they have side air holes and yes, they do help the feet breathe. I ordered true to size and my only concern is that they feel like my feet are sliding a bit; even though the fit seems okay. I will have to do the living room try, but I have to say they are more comfortable than their more expensive brother (the artisan which, to me, seems bulkier and heavier, just me perhaps), in my view. They feel comfortable to the feet and light weight. Nice shoes, Frye, and the usual perfect service with Zappos! Thanks to both companies!

These are the best shoes that I ever wore. I got many compliments on them. They go with everything. However, as other users have stated the sole is very badly designed. Mine started cracking around seven months. Too bad these look so good that I am going to spend a fortune and buy another pair. Frye, please fix this, as these would be the only sneakers that I would wear for the rest of my life.

While the shoes look great, and are pretty comfortable and they do start to fall apart in a month or two. At first I thought it couldn't be so I exchanged them for a new pair. And the same thing happened.

I bought these shoes two months ago and wear them from time to time. One of them already has the sole falling off at the heel. For shoes that cost this much you would assume that it would hold up a little better than that. I am very disappointed to say the least.
