The suggested size was a 12, but we ordered an 11.5 based on previous pairs of Justin boots, and the fit was perfect.

Ordered these for my grandson. He said they were comfortable.

I had to order a size up because the 10 1/2 EE squished my toes something terrible. Got the 11 EE and bam these are awesome boots.

They are what they are... pull on boot, semi Western style, walking heels, all leather. Require a little break in, then quite comfortable, expected to continue being more comfortable as time and wear go on.

Bought these for my husband. He loves them!! Says they’re very comfortable, perfect height and they look great on him!

These boots are very true to size. I usually wear a 10 1/2 in tennis shoes, but I measured my feet at a shoe store and see they are around a 10. So I ordered a size 10 boot. At first these boots were a little tight, but with wear they conform very well. I recommend watching a video on sizing boots to your feet, they help a lot with deciding on size. These were a little more pointed at the toe than I would have preferred, but I plan on riding horses, and the toe shape is helpful for getting into stirrups.

The color of the boot, appearance, etc is just as it looks on the Zappos site. I wear boots most of the time with heavy socks and I think this boot runs true size. This boot has a low walking heel which is good for balance and walking comfort. One reviewer said it is tight getting your foot in and that was true on the first couple of tries but mine loosened us fast and go on and off with only modest effort. I think if you like how this boot looks on the Zappos web site and are looking for a roper boot you will be very happy with these boots.

I purchased these for my son for Christmas. He absolutely loves them. Very nice boot. Great Price. Runs true to size.

I have not worn cowboy boots in a long time - I remember them as not a comfortable experience - however I was tired of lacing up and while looking for pull-ups saw these and decided to give cowboy boots a try again. I love the worn look and they feel awesome on me. Very comfortable. The heel is very solid and took a while to get use to it but in the end I love these and am so happy.

Just received these boots from Zappos, took them out of the box, tried them on and couldn't even get my foot into the boot! Normally, I have had issues in the past with shoe being a little snug but to not be able to get my foot into the boot to begin with is a first. Needless to say I am sending them back.

For years the Justin roper has been the boot of choice for several members of my family who live and work in Colorado and Wyoming. Typically I'm a pointy-toe boot guy, but with leather soles they're not that versatile. I finally took the advice to get these boots for heavy-duty chores around the homestead. This is definitely the boot for that. The full rubber sole provides lots of traction, whether on a wet asphalt slab or jumping branch to branch 30 feet above ground while trimming trees. Actually felt confident straddling two branches while running a 20 inch chainsaw, which wouldn't be the case with most other boots. And they're rugged as all get-out. I've put these through the grinder, and they keep coming back for more. You could spend up to four hundred bucks for basically the same boot (see Frye), but why? These boots are comfortable, durable and practical. Whether you're looking for real functionality for the farm (or yard) or just a good looking boot to wear around town, this roper fits the bill.

Except it is very hard to get in the boot are very nice and very comfortable as you are in ..... The leather is very nice. Maybe it will be nice also to have the sole in leather too ....

As others have noted, these boots initially are hard to get into, but once in, fit well and are extremely comfortable. Until they are well broken in you will have to worm your foot into the boot, but this is typical of many western style boots. These are by far the most comfortable western-style boots I have worn over the past 40 years of wearing such boots. It's worth putting up with the aggravation of getting into them. If you your intent is to keep the boots looking nice for casual dress be aware that any dressing you put on the Apache Ropers will ultimately darken the color and make them appear to have a smoother finish than what you see coming out of the box.

Whoa..way too narrow! My husband has been wearing Ariat mostly and a couple of Cabela's for around the farm.. Those fit true to size.8EE These are narrow. I tried them on(I wear 1/2 size smaller) These were too narrow even for me..though I do wear a wide. I have Ariat Georgia Nocona Durango(all men's) Some wide some regular.So this boot does run narrow. NIce enough boot but too norrow..Seem to find that a lot lately..People nmybe don't use their feet as much as say a farmer so aren't as wide or companies are cutting costs..And our feet pay the price.

I love these boots, I have a high instep so they do leave a red mark on top of my foot, but the fit is perfect everywhere else and they are comfortable.

I recently got these boots and they are AWESOME. I'm on the tall side so I really appreciate the lower heel of a roper boot, also they feel sturdy, they're comfortable, my feet don't sweat in them. A few things I noticed about the way they fit, I always find with cowboy boots that I have trouble sliding into my correct size. Luckily I knew that ahead of time so after about 20 minute stretching these out around the top of foot area, i got my feet to slide in and once inside my toes had plenty of extra room. One thing I noticed was that these felt narrower than most shoes I wear which is great for me because my feet are of average width. Mine got a nice patina within only a night or two of wearing them in somewhat wet weather. I'm actually glad about that because now it looks like i've owned them for awhile, but i'm sure I'll have these for a long time to come!

These are very nice boots, but unfortunately they did not fit me. I have at least a EE width foot, I received a boot marked EE, but they were not close to a EE width.

Hard to review. Like others, I could not get my foot into the boot: Theshaft is wat too narrow.

Bought these as a gift for my husband. When they arrived, one was slightly lighter in color than the other. After he had worn them for a day or two, the lighter one got significantly lighter as if it was all dried out. They look ridiculous on his feet. Now realize that they must be seconds. Should have returned them immediately, I guess, but he was so happy to receive them and had worn them a bit, so I couldn't. I am going to try to figure out how to successfully even out the color, but am very disappointed to receive flawed/second quality merchandise from Zappos at such a high price. Will be more careful next time, if there is one.

Could not even get my foot I to these boots, I bought them a half size larger and wide which I normally don't wear. Could not even come close to getting my foot into these boots. There must be some kind of production error here. There is no way that I shouldn't be able to get my foot into them. I had my roonate try then on who is a whole size smaller than the boot and he couldn't even get his foot into these. What's going on here! Made in China.
