I have several pairs of Alegria shoes and I wear a 9½ in other brands but I wear a 40 in this brand. They run small and they all run tight around the toes. I am not sure why, it is kind of a odd spot to be tight. Maybe it is just me. They are made well but one thing that I have learned about wearing my Alegrias in the rain. They will squeak after a while. I have two pairs that squeak and because of that, I no longer wear them in the rain. They are comfortable and I can wear them for miles as long as I order up a size and do not wear them in the rain.

I own the Alegria Kleo and find it to be one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever purchased. I am hoping these will be the same after a week or two in my shoe stretchers in full sun as they are stiff! I wear a 39 (9-9.5) and for a 39 wide, these are very small. If you wear a 9.5 order up! Why am I keeping them? The velcro! There is so much room and my feet tend to swell in the heat. They are very cute and made so well, I'm sure I will have them for years.

I have this shoe in the Dark Floral Leather. Love them no problems. This is my 5th pair of Alegria shoes (other professional styles) and have had only one problems with pair I recently purchased. They squeak when I walk and that is not a good thing when you are walking through your state capital. I work in the food service industry so they are good for my feet. Love the variety of colors in the professional line. People always asking about them. Sizing I wear a 8.5 M shoe but order the 39 on this site because 39 is what I order on Alegria site. Fit was perfect.

On the Zappos website a 40 is listed as being the equivalent of a 10, and 41 as equivalent to a 10.5. I'm normally a 9.5 US and a 41 UK and ordered the 40 because according to the equivalency these ran really big. I am no way a 10.5 so I was scared to order the 41. But, they really don't run big, apparently. The 40 seemed a little small to me. Maybe it would have fit OK, but these shoes have a weird insole with a kind of trench around the edge, and the ends of my toes were kind of hanging over into this trench. I was constantly feeling a ridge on my toes. So, I think my foot was a little big for the intended fit of the shoe. My advice would be to order whatever you normally wear in UK sizing.

I wore a 38 in other styles, but the 38 was way too big in this style, I re ordered the 37 so we will see how that fits.

Really cute shoe. Afraid my foot is too narrow in the heel though. Not as comfortable as I hoped.

Usually wear a 9.5 so I purchased a 10 (size 40 as indicated). These shoes run very small. My feet had no room in the shoes.

It appears that these only come in black in the wide width. What would make you think that people with wide feet are not interested in colors? I love the dark floral pattern, but I guess it doesn't love me.

I have a wide foot and a high instep . Alegria is fine in a medium but this style wasn't. Too narrow and shoe is very high on the sides.

This was my 3rd pair of Alegrias. I really liked the Kaitlyns, beautiful floral colors and designs, comfortable too. I only wore them 3x/wk. However the velcro stopped working after 4 months. I was always readjusting the strap to keep it in place. I took them back to the store from where I purchased them and they gave me a full in store refund. I ordered another pair of the palomas which I feel are a more comfortable shoe.

I love Alegria shoes. However, these did not have the same 'support' as the Paloma and Dayna. I think it is because of the design of the outsole. It has more of a "heel" or wedge versus a flat bottom which puts the foot in a different position than the traditional Alegria outsoles. It alters the way the great insole hits your foot and feels like less support. Kind of like you are walking on the ball of your foot. Very cute design though, I would love to keep it, but must send it back. The dark floral is adorable.

The shoe runs a bit big. Also, the arch support in this shoe isn't great.

Tried these on at a store in another color in my size and they felt great so I got them through Zappos. They were so very uncomfortable and I couldn't figure out why and then it hit me. They have 2 widths and I chose Regular. Just re-ordered in the wide and am hopeful they will be okay. That being said, I have a long narrow foot (size 41) and the regulars were very tight and hurt, so I would say that this style runs narrow. Love Zappos though! I have very hard feet to fit with neuroma and am on my feet all day so shopping with them makes it so much less stressful!

I have several pair of Alegria shoes that are very comfortable but these have different insoles that feel lumpy and make my feet hurt.

Cute shoes, but so uncomfortable I had to send them back. I wear a size 11, ordered the 42 and they felt too small, but also very awkward, disappointing!

The velcro on this shoe was problematic from the beginning. I kept thinking I hadn't closed it correctly, but it simply never held on a long bout of walking. I later went to my favorite shoe repair place to see if he could replace the velcro with something stronger, and he told me that the design was simply defective. The lack of a loop through made it less stable. I would deter anyone from ordering these shoes.

These shoes are a nightmare. The video shows them worn without socks. I did that and it took 2 weeks for the sores on my ankles to heal. They look goofy with socks. Because I had already worn them I did not try to return them. This is a shame because I usually love Alegria and the shoes are adorable.

Not a great shoe after all, I have been wearing them for work for 2 weeks now. My feet are so hot in them by the end of the day that they are already starting to smell, I have never had this problem in any other shoe. So disappointed that I spent the money on them. Also, one shoe rubs on the top of my little toe by the end of the day.
