I took a risk and bought my exact shoe size (9.5), and I have a wide foot. When I first tried to put them on, I literally could not get them on because they were so tight. I thought for sure that I would have to send them back. I'm happy to say I was completely wrong. I forced them on my feet and wore them for a few hours while lounging around, and they fit perfect now. It took about 4 days of wear for them to really mold to my foot, but they fit really well now. They go good with blue jeans and khakis and can be worn in many situations. Overall, a great purchase.

Wonderful experience. I bought these shoes for my hubby for Christmas. The size was right on and the shipping was super fast. This was my first time ordering, but won't be my last.

Husband ordered this shoe in a size 8. Fits true to size and very comfortable and lightweight. He loves it. Will buy again. Color is beautiful and as shown.

I saw one review that said these stretched so much that they no longer fit, so when I got mine and they were a little snug, I figured they would break in. And they did, literally within an hour of wearing them around the house. I've put them away as a Christmas present, so we'll see if they stretch out of control when I really start wearing them. They are really, really nice though. Very cool and really comfortable (as far as I can tell so far).

Love these. They are extra supple and comfortable, fit really well, and feel great on the feet. They have a light/thin sole that provides quite a bit of feel for example when walking over stones. I like that!

I bought these shoes in the lighter brown for my husband and he loves them. He needed a casual, but nice work shoe. One he can wear with jeans and khakis, but occasionally with a suit. He says they fit like a glove and are extremely comfortable.

I wanted to add something different to the collection. These are super comfy and I like wearing them whenever I put them on.

I'm very satisfied with these shoes. They're an excellent, versatile 3 season shoe that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stylish "knock around" shoe. They are timelessly styled and constructed very well. I usually wear them with no socks so their all leather lining is quite comfortable. They have no heel and offer virtually no arch support, but they do flex nicely. I knew before ordering them that they were designed without a heel. I mention that because, for me, this is not a shoe I'd want to be wearing if I were going to be on my feet all day. For instance, this is not the shoe I would wear for an all day trip to an amusement park. That said, as long as I'm not going to be on my feet all day, this has become my "go-to" shoe. They're excellent for driving and/or boating! I ordered them in brown, and the shoe matches the web image pretty accurately. They're a deep fudge colored brown with nicely contrasting top stitching. The actual finish of the shoe doesn't have the "sheen" shown in the photo. They are flatly finished and not designed to hold a shine, which is exactly what I was looking for. I think my favorite feature is the cushioned footbed which offers a soothing landing surface with each step. The rubber sole is ideal for wet and dry surfaces alike. This is the first pair of shoes by Born I've ever purchased, and I almost bought a similarly styled shoe by Sperry. I opted for these instead because the price was a little less, and I've always wanted a pair of shoes by Born. I'm typically loyal to the Top-Sider shoe, so hopefully I won't be disappointed over time. So far, so good, and no regrets whatsoever. As I said, the styling is classic and timeless. I'll outwear them before they go out of style.

I have a pair of brown Born Paine's and wanted a black pair, though those don't come in black. The Harmon's seem as comfortable as the Born Paine's (very comfortable), though the Harmon ran large for me: I'm a 9.5 in the Paine's but needed to size down to a 9 for the Harmon. Looks decent with jeans or khakis. The main selling point for me was the minimal sole which adds to the comfort (for me, at least).

Comfortable and just the right balance of structured vs. mocassin. This is probably best described as D/E width--not really wide but just slightly wider than a typical D. Nice insole. A good value in my opinion.

My only concern was the heel which lacked support. The heel actually felt lower than the sole. I chose to continue wearing the shoes to determine if it was just me or there was a problem.

Shoe looks and feels sharp. Love the look and feel of the leather. Very nice insole. I wear them with or without socks. Not as dressy as I had hoped because of the lack of heal and style of the sole. Maybe a small step below business casual. Kind of a moccasin type feel and look. Very happy with them and would buy them again. Comfortable for work and driving. OK for walking short distances.

I purchased these shoe's for their comfort and style. I have now owned them for 6 months and have worn them on a regular basis. Love the initial look and feel. They did stretch width wise as others have commented. My only disappointment is the shoe is made of a relatively thin leather. After 6 months the shoes look pretty worn.

These are "moc design" but not true moccasin construction for you purists. Also, the video is wrong - they're not leather lined. There is a piece of leather across the vamp and a leather heel counter lining but other than that, they are unlined. The insole is quite puffy (which some may like). Overall very comfortable feeling but not for me.

This is a great looking casual shoe that looks good with jeans or chinos. Unfortunately, they fit weird. They're a 1/2 size too big. They were a little tight at first but stretched quickly after wearing for a little while. They're just not that comfortable. I usually take them off at my desk to give my feet a rest. Disappointed.

For me the sizing was much smaller than expected (size 14). The tongue of the shoe simply was too low to allow a normal shaped foot to fit inside the shoe. this is the second pair of Borns that have come this way. I'm not sure if you have to upsize to get a proper fit but since these are slip-ons they should stretch. In my case they were too tight to even give it a try without losing circulation in my foot. What a shame as I love the shoe otherwise.

I've worn these twice. Put them on today and they feel way too big. They seem to have stretched to another size larger. Very comfortable and really liked them at first but now they seem awkwardly big and uncomfortable. I guess you should choose a half size smaller and let them break in to be normal.

Poor quality in the stitching. I wore the shoes 10 times and the side stitching is already unraveling. Why ? This is my 3rd and last pair of Born shoes. I need to find a better quality alternative.

Stitching popped after wearing three times. Zappos was great. Took them back no problem. Not sure I want to order another pair.

Not at all what I expected! I bought a pair of these shoes about 3 years ago and they were great. The last pair I order were the same size but did not fit at all. They changed the sole and the inside. Much worse fit and quality. Will not order these again!

I loved the way these shoes looked the moment I saw them. Tried on a 10, and it was a big too snug. Tried on a 10.5 and my foot slipped out. Decided not to purchase from the store. But a few days later, I couldn't resist and ordered a pair of 10s online, figuring that they would stretch a little. And they did. For 2 weeks, they were super-comfortable, fit well, and I loved wearing them. But then they kept stretching, and stretching, and stretching. Now they're unwearable, after maybe 6-8 weeks of wear. Ultimately, a huge disappointment. Too bad I can't find another company that makes a venetian loafer with similar styling.
