I have two pairs of Orthaheel flip flops so I was eager to try these. I ordered a ten though I usually wear a 9-9.5. The length was fine, but the shoe is very wide in the toe box. I could pinch the fabric just below the laces and there was a good half inch leftover. The back of the heel was a bit high as well. Perhaps a 9.5 would have been better, but I wasn't crazy enough about them to try again. For a really great athletic or walking shoe, I prefer Vasque. They tend to run narrow in the heel and the arch and wide in the toes.

Unfortunately these are quite ugly and clunky in person. You know that "grandma has bunions but wants to look young" look? That's the perfect shoe for it. And I am far from grandma's age. It would be great if Zappos showed images of shoes on a real person's feet. They fit true to size, though feel wide. They hurt my knee, but I expected it since they are supposed to fix pronation. Not wearing them enough to verify the claim.

I really like these shoes. The first 3 weeks of wearing them makes me forget I have plantar fasciitis. After that they lose their support and are not as comfortable. This is my 2nd pair. I notice that my toes rub on the mesh. I will probably order a 3rd pair because I haven't found anything better to relieve the pain. It gets a little expensive to buy shoes at this price every month.

I really wanted to love these sneakers but in the end I returned them because they just didn't have the same support as the Tide sandals. I just imagined all the Orthaheel products would have the huge arch which is what I need but this one didn't. Also, with Orthaheel sandals I have been wearing an 8. Usually I am an 8 1/2. With these I would have had to wear a 9!

I normally wear a size 8.5 or 9, so I ordered these in size 9...they were almost too small, and felt a little snug in the toe box (which is fine by me, as my feet are a little narrow). The problem with these shoes is that the arch support is in the "wrong place"...it was too far back in the sole of the shoe. These are much more "normal looking" shoes than the Orthaheel walkers that I also ordered (which while they were the same size as the rhythm walker, were actually much larger...inconsistent manufacturers sizing!). I am very disappointed with Orthaheel. Thanks Zappos for being so great about returns!

I loved these shoes, felt really comfortable at first, however, on a vacation trip I found that after walking in them for more than 2 hours (street walking, not hiking) the balls and toes of my feet started to burn and I became very uncomfortable.

I found the Orthaheel Rhythm Walker too short. I ordered a half size larger than my normal size and the toe was still too short and too narrow. Also, I agree with one other reviewer who did not like the "lacy" look of the shoe in white. The shoe looks great in red, though. I found this shoe too flexible for my feet; I prefer a stiffer walking shoe.

I love my Orthaheel shoes, so I am very disappointed in these! After reading the reviews, I figured if I ordered a 7 (I wear 6-6.5), they would be just right! They were tight both in width and in height, if that makes any sense. Length was fine. The footbed is rather hard and uncomfortable. I could wear soft socks with them to fix that problem, but they're way too tight for socks. Orthaheel needs to address the entire engineering of this shoe. Thanks, Zappos, for your great return policy! I will try another style and send these back.

I usually wear a 7 and, per the advice from others, I ordered the 7.5. The length fit but the toe box seemed wide (I wear a B). The mesh on the shoes reminded me of lace, which I don't like. The arch support is great though. Too bad.

This is the second time I have tried to get a shoe that fits. Tried my normal size 9...way to small. Ordered a 10, but it shipped in a WIDE. I have a narrow foot, so that didn't work. Love the high arch support and the color. I really wish I could have found a shoe that fit MY foot. Oh well. Love Zappos!

I bought these for my elderly mother to encourage her to walk. It took a couple of weeks for her to get break them in, but now she likes them. They look great. The only issue I have with them is that they squeak. I was thinking about getting a pair for myself, but it drives me nuts when shoes squeak.

I ordered these 1/2 size larger than normal and they were too short. They are an attractive shoe, but not as comfortable as my orthaheel tennis shoes.

I love my orthaheel slippers and shoes and was looking forward to these sneakers. The sneakers are very light weight and have nice support, but they are not wide enough. I hope all of the comments are forwarded to Orthaheel so they will consider making WIDE shoes/sneaks!!

I was somewhat disappointed in these, but I think they just did not work with my feet. I still wear them, but they are not the most comfortable Orthaheel shoes that I have worn. It's like the arch support is in the wrong place for my left foot or something. Overall, they are fine, and I like the fact that they are lightweight, but I would not buy them again.

I am so bummed. I own several pairs of Orthaheel shoes (and now Vionic). I was so hoping these would be comfortable. They look cute, but felt a wee bit snug around the toe box. I wore them around the house for a bit, and was on the fence about their comfort. I finally wore them to work today, and my feet were in pain within 2 hours. I sit a fair amount, but I do get up to walk to different parts of my work space. When I got home, tonight, I could not wait to put on my Orthaheel Tides Flip-Flips. Instant relief. I'm sending these back. For the price I want comfort, and these shoes were a dismal disappointment. I'm glad Zappos has such great customer service, and when I told them how much I disliked the shoes, they told me to send them back. I'll try again, with something else.

I was very disappointed with this shoe. I love the Vionic slipper and thought the sneaker would feel similar. My Nike sneakers has a lot more cushion on the bottom and fits my foot much better.

I wanted to love these shoes, but I felt like Goldilocks. I usually wear 8.5, but those were too small and the 9 was too big. Also I was not as happy with the arch support as I have been with other Orthaheels. Had to return them.

I read many reviews before ordering this shoe. There were more positive than negative opinions. Personally, there was not enough cushioned support for me. I also have narrow feet so thought they would fit me just fine, however, my right foot was pinched. I am returning them.

I tried these to help my arthritic knees. They just did not seem to have enough structure and support compared to the various Ecco Biom models I have been wearing the last two years. It seemed like a cheap shoe with a good insole. I will try the insoles in my Eccos instead.

I have tried several shoes in the Orthaheel line. These Dr. Weill shoes feel weird. You can't walk flat on these. They made my foot turn in and I feel like I am walking with a rock under my foot. They feel super odd. Returning them. I like the Brooks ASR shoes I got. These shoes feel terrible.

I was really excited to get these since they were fairly good looking and not super orthopedic looking. I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and these shoes did not provide enough support (in the heel, in the arch, etc.) for what I needed. Honestly, they felt like a regular walking shoe. I took them to my podiatrist who agreed that these shoes provided no support for someone with plantar fasciitis. She advised that I return them, but I had worn them three separate times to try and adjust to them, so they are beyond returning. I wish I could return because for the price I paid, I did not feel like I got enough out of them. On the other hand, I also bought the Orthaheel Tide sandals, and I love them! Those provide excellent arch support!

I too wanted these to work but found I hurt significantly worse after wearing them. Just wearing them walking in the house is no real judge you have to go walk hard surface like stores and other terrain. In two days I know I can't wear them without adding support if that will even help so I am out the money bucks since I wore them other than carpet inside my home. I am not sure I want to try other shoes from this company. They didn't seem to be of the quality I would have expected for the price and no one wants to be stuck with shoes that hurt and don't help.

Whaaa, I ordered these shoes half a size larger per the reviews The length was fine but the shoes were too narrow. I love the arch support but my little toe was hurting. I don't have wide feet so I don't understand why these shoes were made so narrow! I had to return them.

I needed to order a larger size to get enough room in the toe box, but that put the arch support in the wrong spot for my feet. Back they go!

I bought these shoes for my aching heel. They make my heel hurt more! They also make your feet feel hot.
