I was happy to see this style, because the Walker model shoe isn't the most comfortable style for me. This is an attractive looking shoe, but unfortunately, my feet were killing me after a couple of hours. I ordered my usual size, and wore thin tennis style socks, but my feet felt constricted. Once I took them off, I was happy to be set free. I had to slip on my Tides, which still remain my favorite "shoe" of all. I'm going to have to return them, because they are very expensive and don't give my flat feet the support and relief that I need.

After ordering over 20+, yes, I said 20, pairs of shoes from Zappos I finally found a pair I could live with. I have really, really bad feet and it was a challenge. If it wasn't for Zappos, I don't know what I would have done. Reason for 4 stars, could be a little bit more room in the toe box both depth and width. Other than that they are really great. I am finally able to walk around with less pain. My sincere thanks goes out to Zappos and everyone that works there for their patience, guidance and all around wonderful customer service. Give these shoes a try and don't purchase them anywhere but here. You will never go wrong with such a wonderful company. May God bless Zappos and keep them prosperous and productive for many, many years to come.

I have balance problems due to fallen arches, and after spending a lot on orthopedic devices prescribed by a podiatrist, yielding meager results, I have found what I need with these shoes. I am very happy with the results they bring! Feedback: the mesh covering, which adds to their style, presents a challenge for cleaning underneath the mesh.

I typically order a half size larger in athletic shoes, which I did in this case. The shoe still fit at least a half size smaller still. I returned them.

The first pair I ordered was my usual size (7.5), and I had to order the next half-size up to evaluate it. I expected more support and more cushioning from a brand marketed as an orthotic. It didn't have as much support as my Olivia pumps from the same brand, which I LOVE. I'll try another walker style from this brand--I have badly overpronated feet and weak ankles and really need some help to keep from re-injuring myself when I walk.

This shoe was just what I needed. I read the reviews and did like they suggested and ordered up a size...well actually only a 1/2 size. Fits perfect! Love the shoe wear them almost every day...and will until I purchase some more Orthaheels. The color goes with many things and it has helped my heel. Would definitely suggest this purchase to others.

Two Day Park Hopper at Disney says it all...the shoes were new and served me well. I have other Orthaheel shoes and these were my first sneakers. I only wore them around the house one day before vacation. I was worried they would make my feet sore, but no problem at all. I do wish they were cuter, the bright blue and dark style was out of stock so I got the Dark Gray and white. They are OK but look like sneakers a bit more than I like. But heck, you can were anything to Disneyland and no one even notices. I give them a 2 thumbs up! Fit great and I just ordered my usual size.

Love Orthaheel products but I have lost a lot on this pair. I have relatively narrow feet with long toes. My left foot is the shorter foot. Wearing these, I found the gray strip across the front and sides stopped on the outside at the beginning of my toe. No support for the side of my foot. The thicker heel meant my foot slid down in the shoe. The Orthoheel-type arch made my foot slide to the left and the soft mesh meant the outside of my foot at my baby toe extended past the sole of the shoe. After a mile walk I was limping badly; took a week to recover. Looked at my other shoes that aren't a problem and discovered they all have a support strip along the outside of the shoe and the heels are lower. I found a good pair at Hotter - made in England, a style called Leanne. Same price or lower.

I bought these shoes to help with Plantar Fasciitis this past summer. These shoes were fabulous, allowing me to keep walking when I would have otherwise been side-lined. I have a pair in every color, love the arch support and light weight of these shoes. I also throw them in the washing machine and they do just fine after air drying. LOVE THEM!

I need good arch support because a history of plantar fasciitis; my foot pain flared up after wearing these shoes just a couple hours in the house. I didn't feel any arch support at all like I usually get in orthaheel shoes. I really liked the bright red color. I sent them back.

PROS: Great Arch support! Comfortable footbed. Mesh fabric for breathability. CONS: Toe area felt too snug, and unfortunately, I am a size 11, which means I can't simply exchange them for a half-size larger. So regrettably, I must return them. Wish they came in size 11.5! Usually, I have no problem with Size 11 sneakers, so in this case, I think Orthaheel should make the toe area a little larger. OTHER CONS: Color choices. I would buy Orthaheel products more often if they didn't have an unfortunate tendency to use bright color combinations. In this case, I would have preferred to have a solid black sneaker. I've also found this to be a problem when I've shopped for other Orthaheel shoes and sandals. For example, say you want a plain tan sandal, and you find a style you like. But it's not just tan, it might have a purple stripe on it. And you don't want purple because it limits the outfits you can wear it with. For a specialized product like Orthaheel, I would suggest that they offer every shoe in some neutral colors, especially solid black. I think it would help increase their sales. I love the arch support that Orthaheel provides, and I think they are a great company, so I hope they will consider this suggestion. Also, I would prefer if Orthaheel used leather for the outer materials on this shoe (and ALL their shoes) instead of man-made materials. I think that leather would be more comfortable and adapt better over time to the shape of one's foot. And it looks better. The man-made materials look cheap, and Orthaheel shoes are not cheap. Also, think that the man-made materials don't breathe and can cause an odor issue.

These shoes are true to size, comfy & look good, not chunky looking. They are comfortable for everyday wear but I found them quite uncomfortable for exercise shoes after walking one mile due to a lack of cushion. I will be buying running shoes for my walking. I recommend them for everyday use & light distance walking. I would buy them again.

These are great looking walkers but the toe box was a little short for my feet. I will reorder a 7½.

I own over a dozen pair of Orthaheel shoes and love the relief and comfort they bring to my feet. I have noticed that the sizing is inconsistent, however. I have always ordered with the recommended sizing but have had to return several of their "closed toe shoes" because they don't fit according to recommendation. I even own both style of their tennis shoe and had to order each in a different size. This just doesn't make sense! This is a comfortable shoe and I would recommend but order a half size up from your normal size.

I had to return these shoes because the right one had a defect. There was a slight but annoying lump in the sole right under the ball of my foot that was not there in the left shoe. I might have been able to get used to it, but for the price they should not have a problem like that. Otherwise, the seemed cushiony and true to my usual size, and were nice and light. My only small complaints are that they could have used a tiny bit more room in the toe box area, and the flap that sticks up on the back of the heel rubbed a bit when wearing low socks.

I wanted to love this shoe and buy it in all the colors. I usually wear a 9, but it did not fit my arch correctly, so I tried an 8.5. While that fit my arch, the shoe felt very narrow and after awhile, with the high arch support, my toes started to feel numb and tingly. I am so disappointed. I will keep trying to find some shoes. Zappos as always, is a fantastic company to do business with. No hassles. No middle man. I love Zappos.

This shoe was too short for me. I like that it fit my narrow heel and was not too wide in the toe box. I will try the next 1/2 size.

I have two pairs of Orthaheel flip flops so I was eager to try these. I ordered a ten though I usually wear a 9-9.5. The length was fine, but the shoe is very wide in the toe box. I could pinch the fabric just below the laces and there was a good half inch leftover. The back of the heel was a bit high as well. Perhaps a 9.5 would have been better, but I wasn't crazy enough about them to try again. For a really great athletic or walking shoe, I prefer Vasque. They tend to run narrow in the heel and the arch and wide in the toes.

Unfortunately these are quite ugly and clunky in person. You know that "grandma has bunions but wants to look young" look? That's the perfect shoe for it. And I am far from grandma's age. It would be great if Zappos showed images of shoes on a real person's feet. They fit true to size, though feel wide. They hurt my knee, but I expected it since they are supposed to fix pronation. Not wearing them enough to verify the claim.

I really like these shoes. The first 3 weeks of wearing them makes me forget I have plantar fasciitis. After that they lose their support and are not as comfortable. This is my 2nd pair. I notice that my toes rub on the mesh. I will probably order a 3rd pair because I haven't found anything better to relieve the pain. It gets a little expensive to buy shoes at this price every month.

I really wanted to love these sneakers but in the end I returned them because they just didn't have the same support as the Tide sandals. I just imagined all the Orthaheel products would have the huge arch which is what I need but this one didn't. Also, with Orthaheel sandals I have been wearing an 8. Usually I am an 8 1/2. With these I would have had to wear a 9!

I normally wear a size 8.5 or 9, so I ordered these in size 9...they were almost too small, and felt a little snug in the toe box (which is fine by me, as my feet are a little narrow). The problem with these shoes is that the arch support is in the "wrong place"...it was too far back in the sole of the shoe. These are much more "normal looking" shoes than the Orthaheel walkers that I also ordered (which while they were the same size as the rhythm walker, were actually much larger...inconsistent manufacturers sizing!). I am very disappointed with Orthaheel. Thanks Zappos for being so great about returns!
