My son is a 9.5 and based on Chuck Taylor's sizing I ordered the 9. They fit but probably won't in spring. He has wide feet and doesn't complain about them being tight. They are his favorite shoes, his "cool shoes."

These shoes are so cute. I bought them for my grandson, and the fit was great! Added bonus; the velcro closing, don't have to worry about shoes being untied.

My son loves these sneakers, he's four. Quick to put on for him or me on our way out the door for school. Shoe size accurate.

I bought these shoes for my son who has spina bifida and wears ankle braces. We thought that the design would make it easier to muscle the shoes on over his braces while also allowing the shoes to be closer to his true size (we normally have to buy shoes that are a couple sizes bigger so we can get them on, but then he has clown shoe problems). The shoes are very cute and made of pretty good/sturdy fabric. The design is great to try and get on over the braces, but they are still kind of tough to get on. The back of the shoe folds down but not quite to being level with the sole, so we still shove his foot/brace in and have to kind of tug the back of the shoe up to get the brace to fall fully into the sole. Part of the issue might be that the stretchy things across the front/down the tongue of the shoe kind of keep the shoe width narrow so there is a little resistance to getting the foot all the way in. None of this is really that bad, not really any different from other shoes. Although they aren't as easy to get on as we had hoped, the velcro patches are large enough that the back of the shoe still attaches even around his wider braced foot and they do look really cute. All in all, they really aren't too bad to get on and the pros are that this shoe is closer to his normal size than others we have bought him.

My son has these in red and white. They're absolutely adorable. A little difficult to get on a squirmy baby.

These really are easy on and off because there's a velcro panel on each side. A note on the sizing, tho - my kid wears a 6.5 and the 7 I ordered is way way more than half a size large. They are more like an 8. So order down.

Great product - the only thing that frustrates me is that they slip off much easier than I imagined! My daughter had Toms similar to these in style, and we never had that issue with those. I think because Converse are so much heavier, they are a little tougher for a 2 year old's little feet to keep on - not sure. Otherwise, great shoe!

These are super cute, but not as easy to put on as I thought they would be, but certainly doable and much easier than laces for a wiggly five year old!

These shoes are cute and definitely practical, but way too tight. They rubbed my little one's feet and ankles raw. She even had little blisters. I ordered one size up from her size (4), but Zappos did not have them in stock. They kindly sent the size below (3), claiming that Converse generally run a little large, but unfortunately they were too small even though numbered at the size she is currently wearing. They are also very difficult to slip on, but this may also be a fit issue. Sadly, she was only able to wear these shoes once.

Impossible to put on my 3 year old. Maybe it's me, but even though they fit him fine, it is a struggle to get them on his feet, even with both velcros open and the tongue folded down. I reserve them for days when I'm not in a rush and have all the time in the world.

Cute shoes but they did not stay on my 3 year old's son well. The velcro was not as secure as I would have liked it to be. I would have rather just purchased the shoes with regular laces.

These shoes are adorable however they do not stay on my 2.5 year olds feet. The elastic laces seem like a good idea in theory, but they were were much too loose on my son's feet. He wears a size 8 in Saucony, stride rite and Adidas and the size 8 fit him well length and width wise, but there were much too loose across the top of the foot. My son could walk right out of them they were so loose. Also the tongue of the shoe sticks out really awkwardly.

I read the reviews on this and new the laces would be a small problem based on what others were saying however when they arrived, it was a big problem. The laces on one shoe were really distorted and stretched out. The shoe is a lot bulkier than I expected with the velcro sides and tongue awkwardly sticking out and very stiff. It did not look very comfortable and based off of how my 19 month old was reacting, doesn't seem to have felt very comfy either. I figured I would just cut the laces out and replace with regular laces but again, the bigger problem seems to be his lack of comfort and how bulky and awkward it looks. Sent back and ordered the classics. Much better fit and I can tell he finds them very comfy. As always, Zappos was awesome.

For an "infant" shoe, I was surprised at how narrow these are at the ankle. I know my baby is on the larger side in terms of foot length & height, but take heed that these do NOT accommodate chubby baby feet! Toddlers who've lost their baby fat will fit these, but the laces didn't stretch enough to get my son's feet in. And at the point where I couldn't stuff his feet in any further, I saw that even if I'd squished his feet past the top laces, there's no way the velcro would have closed anyway. The sizing wasn't wrong because the length was good, and I'd bought a size 5 in both these and the All Star High Street Hi & regular high tops, and those fit his feet into them. The All Star High Street Hi is the pair I kept because it was well cushioned & really well shaped for baby feet!

These were imnpossible to get on my toddlers feet! Super cute, but would not stay on my toddler's feet.
