Cute shoe, didn't find any yellowing of the sole compared to the leather top upon arrival. It's true that when ordering it's a good half size longer than typical. There is some "break in time" with my 17 month old. She is wearing socks for the first week in them since we read that suggestion on another post. The sole is pretty stiff so if you have a new walker I wouldn't put them in this shoe.

I got these for my 1 year old for her first trip to Disney World. I think they run a little narrow, but still fit her great. My only complaint is they fall off easily, bit great quality!

Very cute shoe, and it opens wide enough to get a toddler's foot in easily. The only complaint is that it is really narrow. I ordered a 4.5M for my daughter (who is currently in size 4). They were a bit too long (expected since it was a half size larger), but barely wide enough for her foot currently. Tried the 4.5W and it was still only a bit wider. We're going to try the 4XW and see how that goes.

Length of the shoe was correct but the top of the shoe left a red indentation on my daughter’s foot after she had them on for five minutes. She was pulling and tugging on them and ended up ripping them off because they hurt. My child was then shoeless for the rest of the day which was a bummer but they were way too tight to even put back on. Had to return.

I bought these for my 2 year old who has rather narrow feet and they were still very tight around her foot and uncomfortable. Very cute but I had to return them.

Absolutely adorable, but my daughter cries sometimes when I put them on her. I’ll share my daughters “shoe journey” in hopes this might help others find the right shoe. She’s 16 months and a size 4.5 (she’s on the smaller side) the first shoe we bought her was the Stride-rite SRT Emilia sneaker size 4. I read reviews that they were great for new walkers, she really loved them but after wearing them all day one of her toes was bright red. We took her to a local stride-rite store and they recommended the soft motion. I bought a pair of stride-rite soft motion sneakers and they are much more comfortable for her. Recently I bought this sandal, which is in the SRT family and regret it because they are really uncomfortable and stiff. I mean, they’re adorable, but just not a good fit for her. I’m going to order a pair of soft motion sandals. I should also add that my daughter is shoe obsessed, she wears her shoes all day, so these sandals might be perfectly fine for a toddler who only wears them for a couple of hours. I hope this helps someone else trying to find the right pair for their little one.

Didn’t love them :( They seemed narrow and very stiff on my toddler. I returned these and chose a different summer sandal that seemed to be more comfortable.

These were really cute on my 11 month old for about 5 minutes: A - The notches from all of the straps on these shoes made them super easy to kick off; and B - She has really fat feet so she outgrew them in NO time. We got to wear them about twice before I could no longer fit her foot in them. We also bought them in wide but that's not enough, apparently. Sigh...

We bought this shoe in a wide width and although there is plenty of room in the toe area, the strap is very short and has to be pulled fairly tight to secure the shoe. The ankle area of this shoe fits more like a narrow. Because of this, I think my daughter will likely outgrow the shoe more quickly than expected. Otherwise, the shoe is very cute and looks great. I would not recommend this shoe for a child who generally needs a wide-width shoe.

The extra wide was still too narrow. Most Stride Rite wide casual shoes fit. I tried to stretch them and that didn't work. They look good and I wish there had been wide enough.

This shoe was much longer and somewhat narrower than I expected, compared to another Stride Rite shoe in a half size smaller and the same width. The ankle strap is not snug, and my daughter's foot slides forward in the shoe so that her big toe gets squashed in the front of the shoe. Thick socks help with that, but then the narrowness of the shoe comes into play. Stride Rite ought to re-evaluate the sizing for this model.

I can't comment on the quality of this shoe since it did not fit. My daughter has a very wide foot, and we did not receive the XW that I ordered. They also came without a box and no tags.

Didn't work. I tried 2 sizes and 2 widths. Did not work for ny baby with fat feet on top. I wish it had as I loved the fact her heel was enclosed

Shoe is very cute; however, my daughter wore it for half an hour without socks and the skin was rubbed off below her ankle. We let it heal a couple of days and tried again but in less than 5 minutes it had rubbed the same area and was bleeding. We won't be wearing these shoes anymore. So sad because they would look great with most outfits.

I could not close the strap on my daughter's foot. Otherwise, the length of the shoe fit. The shoes look well made, but do not fit.

the sandal bruised both my girls (15 months) toes. she never complained or walked uncomfortably with them, but she has bruises, just like women do. Also, not so easy to slide foot into the narrow sandal. its inflexible leather.

These are super cute I loved them out of the box but after one birthday party about 3 hours long my 14 month old daughter had horrible blisters on her ankles. Sadly they're going back and I'll have to keep looking.

Very cute shoe, but did not fit to a size 3 like I thought. Would recommend ordering a little bigger.

These shoes are sized on the larger side so please order a size down if you're going to order these but I wouldn't recommend these sandals at all. They are EXTREMELY NARROW and for a regular foot. So narrow in fact that they gave my toddler blisters on her feet and heel. Not a good shoe on Stride Rite's part. Returned and will probably go back to Pediped.

I ordered these shoes in wide for my two year old. Not only weren't they wide but there was a rough patch in the sewing that gave her a terrible sore, it's still there 2 weeks after she wore the shoes. I do not recommend these shoes.
