Great fit for my large head size! Love the look, with a nice wrap to block light coming from the periphery. Best of all, it doesn't sit too close the the face -- no touching the eyebrows or cheeks. Just right for me, with the usual Maui Jim fit, finish and classy style. 5 stars all around!

Very well built, sturdy. Not light weight, which I prefer. Spring hinges are extra nice. Lens quality and clarity live up to the Maui Jim expectations.

I have had this pair of Mauis (Black Coral - Matte Black - Neutral lens) for two years and wear them every occasion that permits wearing a pair of higher dollar lenses. I certainly do not wear them for four wheeler trail rides in the mountains or for industrial work, but for driving and everyday use they offer exceptional clarity. I have also had polarized Ray-Bans and Mauis provide a cleaner and more crisp view. A friend asked, "What is the deal with designer shades?" He put them on and could only say, "Wow, that is clear." When ordering and/or buying try to test at brick and mortar first if specific style is available to test different lens options. Should you inquire about the warranty and customer service that Maui Jim is known for, your decision will most likely be simplified and any reservations, alleviated. The lens color that I own in particular (black/neutral) is exceptionally dark in lower light conditions, think winter and overcast. A friend who bought another style with the HCL bronze lens, after he had worn mine, prefers his in the winter months as do I. In the summer season in Utah, the black/neutral lenses have been exceptional. Recently, I sent the glasses to Maui Jim for repair. I am not easy on them, they have seen use almost everyday, I just don't use them in situations in which they could be completely destroyed or easily lost. Maui Jim contacted me almost immediately upon receiving the glasses and let me know what they would replace and correct. I had a cracked a lens from dropping them, worn nose pads and the temples had worn logos. They replaced all worn / damaged pieces at a reasonable price. Worth the price point for me to have a near new pair of sunglasses of exceptional quality. Next pair will most likely have the HCL bronze lens to serve as a perfect compliment to this pair.

These Black Coral are the best. Beautiful view with excellent clarity, perfect contrast and no glare. I love the glass lenses and the frame design and color. Sunsets with these on are a sight to behold. They sit perfectly on my face. My first pair was stolen on a trip and I could not be without them so I bought another pair.

I am so impressed, these are the most comfortable pair of sunglasses that I have ever worn! The fit is perfect and they look great! I was hesitant ordering online, now knowing the exact fit, but they are perfect!

I have worn Black Coral Maui Jims for more than 10 years and they still remain in fashion and the construction quality is fabulous

Bought for my husbands birthday, I was stumped on which ones to order for him and with the help of the chat option(can't remember her name ) she was sooo helpful as Maui Jim no longer makes his favorite style, these have become his new favorites. So kudos to Maui Jim and Miss ? That was so extremely helpful.

Just got my Contracts fixed and love these Sunglasses. Thet are the clearest lenses that I ever used.

I bought a pair of these about a year ago. Kind of expensive but it's nice not have to remove my sunglasses to put on my regular reading glasses. The only drawback is that the vertical view on the reader could be a little taller. Maybe about another 1/4". Because the reader area is so low, I usually need to tilt my head up while driving so that I can read the dashboard gauges. The reader vertical viewing area on these glasses are about 1/2". I have a pair of reader safety glasses and the vertical reading area is 3/4" tall.

I've been wanting these for over 2 years. Finally broke down a purchased a pair. Love the glasses.

The Black Corals are awesome and comfortable to wear. I wear them about ten hours a day.

I purchased these even though I have a dozen nice pairs of sunglasses.I feel these will last me a very long time. I am quite impressed with the Maui's build quality. They are sturdy and solid compared to the other sunglasses I own. They look great and improve my vision more than any other pair. If you wear these while looking out an airplane window you will be surprised! The polarization is unique, it seems to clarify a lot of scenery and brings out the details. The frame is firm but flexible with plenty of room for adjustment.

Bought this model a couple of days ago at the airport. This is my first Maui Jim sunglasses and by god the quality is good. If you are like me and don't like the colours to be artifical then buy the ones with the neutral grey lens. The colours do come alive especially the colour of the sea! I've dropped these glasses twice already and not a scratch on these quality lens. Like a previous reviewer pointed out adjust the nose pads if they are digging into you. My only negative would be that these are not feather light like the hoopikas. On the plus side this model is quite sturdy and a complete wrap around - doesn't let in unfiltered light. The man in duty free said that these can be worn in water as they are designed by surfers! Hope he's right! Looks good on me and these are a keeper.

i was given good advice on shopping to see what I liked I tried on the black corral at a store and even though they were heavier than the ones I owned before they fit tremendously and I love the style.

I own 4 pairs of Maui Jim's and all of them are great glasses. The Back Corals really fit my face well. The lenses just don't scratch and the frames never get out of adjustment. Buy a Cablz brand retainer of your choice to put on them and your all set. Great glasses and great company. They are well worth the money.
